"How much imaginary gold has been sold?"
http://www.lifeaftertheoilcrash.net/Archives2009/AdrianDouglasGold.html
The ask was 100 mil. in 2008 before Alan started buying shares.
I sold all my shares this morning; made several thousand. I felt it's the right time to move on.

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Gold futures tumbled 4% Friday, sustaining their first major loss in a run that began early in November, as the U.S. dollar rose sharply after an upbeat U.S. jobs report.
On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, gold for December delivery fell $48.60 to end at $1,168.80 an ounce.
Friday's losses erased gold's weekly gain. The benchmark contract ended the week down 0.5%, falling for the first week in the past five.

Good... Bid Stacking Up!
Before I left the house this AM for work, I put in a couple of sell orders as I'm unable to use Level II at work. Amazing though, they don't have Ihub blocked where I work; our network is locked down like Fort Knox :)
Wish all FFGO holders best of luck today.
Please keep level II updates current on the board throughout the day.

What an Exciting Day
What an exciting day it was today watching this thing move up, down, down and up, etc. I almost hit the sell button on some of my holdings and DIDN'T. For those of you that sold and made some money, good for you!

Your guess is as good as mine. This thing can stay in a funk for several day(s); drop slowly or fall like a falling anvil. I'm hoping we take off today, as to why I'm taking today off from work. I've been accumulating FFGO for a couple of years now and am prepared to sell at any time making substantial gains.

WSJ - Before The Bell - Gold's Rally Hits New Highs
Quoted in Part...
COMMODITIES DECEMBER 2, 2009, 4:47 A.M. ET
By ELISABETH BEHRMANN
SYDNEY-- Spot gold rallied strongly in Asia Wednesday, setting several record highs in rapid succession to rise 1.6% on the back of fresh money inflows.
After taking a brief breather following news of the Dubai debt crisis, gold's rally has resumed as investors allocated fresh funds at the start of the month, traders said.
At 0539 GMT, spot gold traded at $1,214.80/oz, up $18.80 on the New York close, following a record high of $1,215.70/oz. Gold also breached a new record in euro terms, rising above EUR800/oz for the first time.
Spot platinum and palladium meanwhile both hit 16-month highs at $1,492.50/oz and $386.00/oz, respectively.
Gold's record rise in currencies other than the dollar, its traditional inverse trade, shows broad support for bullion among investors.

Gold's Run Pushes Barrick to Cash
By PHRED DVORAK
TORONTO—Barrick Gold Corp. accelerated plans to eliminate hedges against declines in gold prices, jumping to capitalize on months of gains for the precious metal and freeing up the company to develop even more.
"We're optimistic on the gold price," Barrick Chief Executive Aaron Regent said. The strong price "generates higher cash flow which gives us increased flexibility" to develop mines, he said.
The company also plans to buy other companies or properties at an earlier stage of gold exploration, and the current gold fever has ensured there are plenty of those, he said.
Great!
I don't know... you tell me.

Mr. Lumb,
I take it you can't comment on any private equity group in the entire world?
Mr. Lumb,
Welcome back. You were surely missed, at least by me. I noticed they failed to release you from jail after your sentence was served. I posted a note on IH to remind the IH Admin who banned you to release you. I guess he did.
I made my first FFGO purchase on the companies first news release and have been accumulating over time.
Are you involved or know anything about the below private equity group? Is this the sort of thing FFGO might be considering to do in the future?
