APPLE I'm buying more July calls today at any price. This is going over 300. iphone launch see below on June 24 and if they announce Apple TV it could go to 350. Please take time to read. Deagol is the best independent analyst on Apple.

Earnings around July 21, see Deagol above. He's been better than the professional analysts every quarter. So earnings after July OEX. I'll still buy Julys can always flip later in Augusts
LEI was off my radar but I bought today at new all time HOD. I bought at 2.60 yesterday and 2.88 doubled my position today
I think the co. is a short term to medium term hold and not a quick trade though it does seem to be back going up .20/day.

Apple two dollars from all time high. I'd buy the Julys even here
all analysts now over 300, some at 350 from this morninghttp://tech.fortune.cnn.com/category/apple-2-0/
The market's likely climbing on the agreement with BP, 20B dollar fund. Note CRXX now at HOD strong co. going into Russell 3000 Index end of next week.
600K iPhone preorders yesterday

crxx CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CombinatoRx, Incorporated (NASDAQ: CRXX - News) announced today that it is set to join the broad-market Russell 3000® Index when Russell Investments reconstitutes its comprehensive set of U.S. and global equity indexes on June 25, according to a preliminary list of additions posted June 11 on www.russell.com. CombinatoRx will likely also be included in the Russell 2000, a subset of the Russell 3000 index for 2,000 of the smaller companies based on market capitalization. Initial inclusion in the Russell indexes may lead to an increase in trading volume when investment funds that track the index add CombinatoRx shares to their portfolios.
Apple--
1) Preorders for iPhone 4 begin tomorrow
2) Options expiration Friday, always tricky.
3) Next Tuesday big Apple event at Yerba Buena Center in SF
likely it's this and this is big.

Apple, here's today's terrific news and the stock's now down 2
http://tech.fortune.cnn.com/2010/06/08/iphone-4-the-analysts-weigh-in/
Here's an excellent article about what we'll see June 22.
http://lonelysandwich.com/post/662129889/ipad-tv
This stock will run but when is the unanswerable question.

anybody's guess if he's right.
It is but I don't think everyone's thrown in the towel yet.
I'm not good on the downside and am completely out of the market now and watching. There is a big Apple event on June 22 in the Yerba Buena Center in SF where they make all their big announcements--it's Apple TV. It's a big deal, I've checked around. I have one link, there's a better article I had but can't find but my son has it on his computer and I'll see if I can get it to post later before the event; and I'll likely buy calls just ahead of it if the market's ok. This puts their whole ecosystem together. In essence you can run all your apps on your own HD TV and the Apple box costs $99
I'll try and post before this date.

Can you give me a link to the Apple 350 upgrade.
Morgan Stanley went to 332

Not a bad idea but be careful Merrill Lynch just upped Apple to 325 today

Sold my Apple calls at the open am now completely out, will reload sometime before the schedule June 28 event which is probably unveiling of Apple TV. People want to be on the sidelines ahead of a 3-day weekend in this kind of environment. Even Cramer told people on his show yesterday to take profit in everything but Apple. So this is a day to be careful out there.
iPad goes on sales in Europe tomorrow at 8 am their time, so when our market opens that will have happened. Not sure if we'll get a pop on it?
Apple--at 8 am European time on Friday, so Thursday night our time, the iPad goes on sale simultaneously in 9 or so countries in Europe in a special event an hour or two before the stores open for general business. We will see the news stories for our open Friday morning open. So depending on how the mareket looks the rest of today and tomorrow, i'll buy some calls thurs to sell on Friday on this event. Stock did react highly favorably to the domestic launch of the iPad.
CRXX--This is from May 3, but I'd missed and don't know if it was posted here.
CombinatoRx Inc. /quotes/comstock/15*!crxx/quotes/nls/crxx (CRXX 1.50, +0.06, +4.17%) received FDA approval for Exalgo, a powerful once-a-day painkiller, on March 2. They have already partnered with Mallinckrodt, a subsidiary of Covidien PLC /quotes/comstock/13*!cov/quotes/nls/cov (COV 42.41, +0.66, +1.58%) , to distribute the drug in North America. Mallinckrodt will start shipping any day. CombinatoRx will be collecting substantial royalties, on top of the $40 million milestone payment they already received from Covidien. The royalty flow will move the stock up. Moreover, I think it is highly likely that Covidien will acquire CombinatoRx by the end of 2011, at a substantial multiple of the current price.

Aria, what drug does it have coming up for FDA approval and when and what do you think about it. Thanks, Garth
Apple is going up it's still way below 272 high but I worry about overall market but hedge funds always play this from both sides and the shorts will get squeezed this morning, probably worth a risk at the open with all the good news coming in the next to weeks except Europe can mess up a lot in two weeks. I guess you go in and out, maybe buy on the open??? Everybody knows Apple is worth 300 despite Europe and maybe Morgan Stanely this morning has turned the corner back up.
I do not know how to play Apple. This Friday is the international iPad launch, Morgan Stanley says 400/share likely, June 7 Steve Jobs kicks off the Developer's Conference with the new iPhone and other surprises but the overall market is under a lot of pressure.

IDLM 8K this morning. Opinions welcome. I don't know what to think

Apple Morgan Stanley goes to 310
http://tech.fortune.cnn.com/category/apple-2-0/
APPLE--I'm going to be looking to buy Apple calls next week after OEX when I see how the world looks Monday. International iPad launch the end of May. The new 4G iPhone will be announced June 7 at the developer's conference. If there's a run up I likely will go out before the announcement. People are waiting for Apple to dump their exclusivity with ATT and move to Verizon. If that happens the stock will rocket. If it doesn't there will be some profit taking after the two new launches in June. January leaps then an idea, as it will include the Christmas season.
LEI--I am out over $2 and staying out for the moment despite teh pullback. too volatile of a stock, oil prices down. I'll probably go back in but not know. This one can surge 20 cents in seconds in either direction but lately it's been the down one.
LEI--moving down again, I'd certainly buy it at 2.00 and did.
LEI--has reversed, looks like a good buy here down from 2.70
Lei--held during the big drop last week or held fairly well is better put closed at 2.25 on Friday. Good news at the open this morning, went to 2.59 then traded down on large volume. Either profit taking or buy on the rumor, sell...
I got back in at $2.04
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Lucas-Energy-Announces-pz-3996735805.html?x=0&.v=1
Sidelines--i'm on the sidelines now except for some July Apple calls I'm down on. Tomorrow is a BIG day. the German Parliament will vote on the Greece bailout and we have jobless numbers. We get two positives we'll rocket. Two negatives and we'll sell off deeper. One of each--who knows.
LEI--I actually went the other way and sold some, I have more than a double on it. I've seen it go down .20 in less than a minute. There was a big seller at the open. there had been a big buyer. So right now I'm cautious.
LEI--new all time high at the open then a little profit taking did something like 1/2 million shares in the first 20 minutes. Probably a good buy here, holding after the pull back. If we get a good employment # tomorrow the entire market will head up.
iWeb news I missed earlier. I like it here at .30 after the pullback I think they're in the right space and a deal with Google never hurts. I'm back in.
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/IceWEB-Expands-Federal-prnews-344921810.html?x=0&.v=1
LEI--52 wk high, no sign of stopping
Apple's been massacred, down 8 yesterday and down 5 in premarket, nothing wrong, profit taking, fear. I'd jump in the calls of the market turns. Cramer was calling for a turn mid-morning, futures were up very early before Greece riots, employment #s good today but not good enough, big employment # coming on Friday. So yes agree, keeping powder dry today but ready to jump into Apple when I see a turn.
LEI continues up. It seems to me at these levels a safe buy in turbulent times. It was up both big drop days Friday and today, as well as the up day in between.
CRXX--this is probably what pushed it up.
CombinatoRx Inc. /quotes/comstock/15*!crxx/quotes/nls/crxx (CRXX 1.91, +0.22, +13.02%) received FDA approval for Exalgo, a powerful once-a-day painkiller, on March 2. They have already partnered with Mallinckrodt, a subsidiary of Covidien PLC /quotes/comstock/13*!cov/quotes/nls/cov (COV 47.99, 0.00, 0.00%) , to distribute the drug in North America.
LEI--it got slammed today from 2.50 down to about 2.18 and rebounded. I went to a conference last Thurs I believe where they presented. It's a very ingenious model. they bought leases when oil was down for $200/acre now worth $1,500/acre. They simply unplug old wells that were shut in the 1980s and 1990s cause oil was too cheap. They are lean, only 4 people total in the office. Don't know where it can go but I'm holding.
LEI--I post daily that it's up 10% including during Friday's market drop. Today I can do so no longer. It's up 20%
