Sentry Technology Receives $230K VideoRailway(TM) Order
10:09a ET July 30, 2013 (Market Wire)
Sentry Technology Corporation (OTC Pink: SKVY) today announced the receipt of a $230,000 purchase order from one of America's largest fashion retailers to install eight VideoRailway(TM) (VR) systems. VideoRailway is the Company's newest traveling camera technology featuring an HD/IP, pan tilt and zoom camera that travels along a rail suspended from the ceiling. A combination of straight and curved rail segments can create a "U" as well as a completely closed loop. By turning corners, a single camera views a much larger area with minimal additional expense.
The VideoRailway systems will enhance security in the retailer's expanding fulfillment center that services orders placed on-line. Fulfillment centers have hundreds of merchandise aisles where workers pick individual items for delivery by courier directly to customers. The VR camera provides the operator with the exact viewing angles needed and patrols every aisle at a significantly lower cost compared to installing hundreds of fixed cameras throughout the facility. The VR systems will interface with the customer's IP video management software for seamless operation with other security devices.
"We are pleased to receive our first order for multiple VideoRailway systems to be installed at a major retailer," said Peter Murdoch, President and CEO of Sentry Technology. "This business is in advance of the official launch of the VR system scheduled for early September. Thousands of our SmartTrack, analog traveling CCTV systems have been installed worldwide and we believe that the new VideoRailway design addresses a much larger market, offering a great opportunity to grow our business."
Sentry Technology Corporation designs, manufactures, sells and installs Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) solutions, Electro-Magnetic (EM) and RFID based Library security and self-service systems. Our CCTV product line features VideoRailway(TM) and SmartTrack(TM), a proprietary, traveling camera technology. Our OperationalVideo(TM), OVportal(TM) software application assists retailers with on-line management of safety and security, merchandising audits and employee procedure compliance. Products are used by libraries to secure inventory and improve operating efficiency, by retailers to deter theft and enhance productivity, and by industrial/institutional customers to protect assets and people. More information can be found at www.sentrytechnology.com.

Date on the CC? Thanks just getting started here
SKVY got some nice news... Might be ready for take off IMO
Any word on filings? Getting current? News? THanks
I think SEEK is laying the ground work for moving up... When we have audited financials watch out baby!!
It's just not right.... Over a billion traded, huge promotion a week or so ago, all these "things" happening and we're dangling over triple digits. Plus, when you look at FLIP etc just makes you wonder...
I'm not trying to bash or anything..
I'm invested here... A lot of money. I would like some clarity to these statements by SG because they're pretty relevant statements to ones investment. I posted them to see what others thoughts are... Maybe someone can shed some light... No ill intentions just bringing up some info that should be discussed...
What do you think of this?
270,000 (two hundred
seventy thousand) shares issued and outstanding and 200,000 (two hundred thousand)
shares issued under different terms that convert into 9.9% of the Company’s outstanding
common shares after August 1, 2013
9.9% is a lot of shares?
Note 4-Going Concern

The Company has historically incurred operating losses and had an accumulated deficit of $8,515,845 as of the period ending February 28, 2013. In addition, the Company historically has not generated enough revenue to cover its expenses. These conditions raise substantial doubt as to the Company's ability to continue as a going concern. These financial statements do not include any adjustments that might result from the outcome of this uncertainty. These financial statements do not include any adjustments relating to the recoverability and classification of recorded asset amounts, or amounts and classification of recorded asset amounts, or amounts and classification of liabilities that might be necessary should the Company be unable to continue as a going concern."

"The Company is in technical default on several loan agreements but has not
been served formal notice of default. The Company has been in contact with the other
parties and believes that a positive outcome will result in each case while no guarantee can
be provided of what the ultimate outcomes from such talks will be."

I've been in this for 2 and a half years.... I sat here for awhile like most did... Then out of nowhere SG gets us limited and things prop up... I too have been a believer in this stock.. That's why I pulled my sale order at .0021 (kicking myself HARD right now.) Somethings just not right here.... I'm not saying it won't run up... It might one more time but who knows when or how hard it'll drop... Be careful I know your long also
Also, Amy Trombly was counsel for FLIP, SG's other company that has been delisted...
Some of my concerns as a long....

"Pullbacks are caused by the basic principle of supply and demand. As prices rise, demand falls because fewer buyers are willing to pay higher prices. When demand falls low enough, price follows suit until it reaches a level more palatable by market buyers.
Pullbacks are not only healthy and normal during a market uptrend, they can also provide an opportunity for growth investors. Pullbacks shake out short-term profit-takers and set up stocks for another rally higher.
Pullbacks also give investors a chance to spot true market leadership and add to their positions at lower-risk entry points. Occasionally, aggressive investors can use pullbacks to initiate new positions, although that can be tricky and is usually higher risk."
