Multiply the shares traded by 20 for presplit and that is a large amount 32 million + for the day.
I only do this because all of the negative posts by those that are absent today beating up on the shares traded after the split.
Of course now all we can look at are the shares traded at todays amount.
1,612,100 + or - is good.
Good News. The link has been up as previously reported by many and now the annoucement of the launch after the SOFT LAUNCH.
Revenues to follow.
All of this is positive news. eom

all of this talk about Prepaid vs Traditional wireless provider doesn't mount to a hill of beans to me.
I looked at TracFones programs. if someone is using one of their offerings they can always add minutes as needed. The costs of TracFone don't seem to be to out of line with a traditional wireless provider. Now I use a traditional provider because I always have and it is what was the best solution at the time. I am on my cell phone ove 3000 minutes per month.
TracFone offers competetive rates so using a cell phone to access emails based on what I see is no big deal. The people using TracFone either don't use mobile servis much or they are frugal and prefer to pay for what they use vs. having minutes left over they could have used but didn't and still pay for those minutes. It's all about perception and a persons perception is what it is.

This is the main MTNL Delhi Main Page.
Click on the tab for Remote Email Service.
From there it will take you to the sign in page for Mobile Phone and Landline.
It appears your are suggetsing that only the Landline users can sign up. The sign up is for either.
And yes it appears that only New Delhi customers are curently being signed up. Which is what I pointed out previously when I posted that from the Main MTNL page you could click on the New Delhi Tab and then from there you would click on the Remote Email Service and then do the sign up or see features or support etc.
One Voice will succede despite what many wish would happen and the main reason is they have a positive outlook and don't surround themselves with whiners and ney sayers. They belive they can. They are forward thinking individuals that create their future compared to those that only have a future /job as a profit drain in a large enough corporation that needs those types to perform mundane duties and are probably overpaid as it is.
Recently a poster provided a link about a soft launch of the 3G services. Not sure if it was for MTNL or India wide but that is not important.
This is the same approach apparently with the remote Email Service being provided.
There are many reasons for this approach. Prior to a formal launch or big announcement it is to get targeted groups of individuals to sign up giving the opportunity for a smooth transition from sign up to using the services. It could also just be the way of the culture in India. Their website is pretty baic straight forward and easy to nvigate. No bells and whistles to speak of.
(I have been involved with soft openings prior to a grand opening.)
Obviously the the service is a vailable and the price for the service is right there for everyone to see. Remote Email Service, Powered By OneVoice.
Perhaps I should have mentioned the sign up page is a tutorial or instructions on how to sign up. If you had an MTNL Phone you would follow the instructions as written or watch the demo which shows you haow to sign up. It also tell you haow to access your account via the internet to manage your account etc.
No it is not.
Click on there Home Link immediately below this sentence.
http://www.mtnl.net.in/
Next: Click on Delhi Operations
Next: Click on Remote Email Access Service
Next: Click Sign Up
Next: Click on I want to use MobileVoice with my MTNL Mobile Telephone Service
Next: Click Watch Demo if you want to watch the demo.
Otherwise do whatever you wish to do from that point on.
This is the MTNL web site that is all I can tell you some may say that's to many stepd. Then if you want send one or more of the shortcuts to your desktop or any other location on your computer that you choose.
This is the active sign up page link showing the demo. This is accessed by the MTNL page Remote Voice Mail Then Sign Up Tab.

Not saying it didn't. Just pointing out the time difference.
Haven't had the time to look for any news.
Retraction:
It is still May 15 in India though it is almost 8PM.
So the launch should have been hours ago.
Remeber the International Date Line. It is now May 16 in India.
Was the launch of One Voice yesterday or today?
The point is clear. Tracfone is as was stated. Not the spin that some tried to put on it.
Now whether One Voice launches with Tracfone in the future and generates revenues is yet to be seen.
Links have been provided that would indicate something may be in the works.
It is up to the INDIVIDUAL STOCK PURCHASERS to do their own homework to determine whether this stock has any upside to it or is a stock that they should purchase.
A 50 -1 LONGSHOT won the Kentucky Derby May 2 2009. All of the so called experts didn't give him a chance and one went so far as to say "As good as the top few are in this race, some of the bottom feeders, like this guy, are really weak".
A little homework would have shown that this horse haed as much of a chance as any other base on his breeding and races won.
Oh and by the way the Favorite finished 18 out of 19 horses.
May 15 launch. Just read the Press Release as well.
That is 14 days from today and we will know if it happens as there should be a release from MTNL and access on their page.
I like the that the letter "e" was addressed in the release also.
IMO this should not influence the shareholders votes on the proposed RS. Hopefully everyone has made up there mind based on what they already know and will not have their decision swayed by any new releases.
If there is revenue to be made then make the revenue and then reconsider whether an RS is still needed.
One Voice is what it is.
What's the old saying Misery loves company.
Misery: a state of great unhappiness and emotional distress.
One voice is obviously not a stock that some should be invested in. It is not a safe and comfortable haven for the meek of heart.
This stock and others like it are high risk and long shots.
Some will sell and take the loss against other profits. Some will wait it out and make a profit if and when the shares price goes up.
Calling the CEO and the company names is not going to change anything except make some feel better. But then again you will probably harbor ill feelings long after the game is over. Some are just sore losers.
Until the doors are closed and locked and the keys are thrown away One Voice is still in it.
Iris_F this is the link I use and it is less than one second to estabkish a connection.
I hope it helps.
I did the link as you have it in your post and yes I saw a short pause.
From time to time that is not unusual on any web site for a number of reasons.
http://www.onevoicetech.com/
My only reason for posting the link below is to show that there is a real interest in Mobile Messaging, Voicemail to Text, and Text to Speech in the telephony market.
Particulary click on the Mobile Messaging tab in the paragraph that says: ***** provides complementary input modalities that bypasses the basic limitations of the phone keypad and allow simplified entry of text through single tap on the phone keyboard. Of course my point is that it doesn't mean free and yes to those that belive they are are relword smiths I konow the difference in the spelling of complementary and complimentary.
One Voice approach may be different than their competitors but there is always more ways than ONE to market.

Wow would One Voice actually use their own technology?
True And I knew that you would respond as such.
All anyone would have to do is do the next step and click on the One Voice web site to check the number. My point is that numbers change and that not all references that may list a company are up to date. I can find and do find many companies information that do not have current information. That is why I always refer to the Companies Web Site for the most current and up to date information.
I have a need to search for information or have someone in my office research a companies conatct information daily.
I will also say that it is very commobn even for Publicly traded companies to provide only email caontact information on their web sites as to not have to staff people to answer calls and direct them when they can send a very specific message via email and be responded to via email.
I use Micrsoft help as an example I don'thave a phone number for them.

Anyone checking One Voice on Yahoo Finance can easily click on Company Profile and the One Voice web page is clearly identified. This is the web page I use and have used before the web page design change was implimented

I refered to the 866 being professionally done after hearing the automated answering service which clearly lists the options one has to reach the party of their choice.
The female voice is very clear and not robotic sounding.
There youn go again. One Voice doesn't have a new web site.
I don't have any problems reaching their web site it comes up almost immediately.
As for the new 866 number it is very professionally done.

A company has the option of having numbers forwarded or not. If a Phone Line is disconnected for non payment then there is a message that will say something in the to the effect of the numeber you have tryed to reach is unavailable at this time. if you believe you have reached this message in error please try dialing the number again.
Director of HR that explains a lot.
HR does not give you insight into how a business operates or what type of marketing decisions are made or why they are made. As far as business operations only that you have guidelines (rules) on paper which you need to apply or or follow as it pertains to the employees.i.e hiring practices, health care insurance mundane things like that.
As anyone in sales knows you are constantly searching for new customers.
One Voice does the same. You fill the Funnel with customers and build a relationship to the point of securing their business. You try to win as many as possible but the reality is that after investing time in developing a plan and understanding the customer needs you don't always win.
One Voice may have made the mistake of telling about every contact that was in their portfolio that may not have had the need for their services or timing was off or they changed diredctions.
This is why I don't ask the people working for me to tell me about every contact at the very early stages. Expect to win every contract with the realization that a few will not pan out.
Whose junk are you the master of g. FCS
Nice of the author to establish the link to one voice article but his homework is incomplete to suggest that OK the Irish Company is the first two establish the remote as we all know.
Especially since one previous article made claims that the Irish Company was the first which we know so untrue.
They may be doing a good job of trying to market their business plan which incorporates the remote with the media center and by providing the media center hardware. Very Limited in their vision or capabilities of the Artificial Communications efforts in other words yes that is in other words (not another words)they don't have the capacity to go beyond the HTPC environment into the full spectrum of Telecommunications with a Telmex or MTNL etc etc etc.
There are more than one solution to the problems. Marketing is key to bringing your product to the public. Some efforts take time to become establihed.
http://www.q-bean.com/index3.html
One of the custom media center OEMs that has closed their doors that is on One Voice list of users/partners if you will.
A bigger OEM of this type to compete with what Amulet iids proclaiming to offer for the Home Entertainment is needed. A one stop single source offering. These could be regional. Now with that said and Amuletv proclamation of their Voice Activated Remote Control that is $200.00for their basic unit with limited supply to begin shipment and did I read $500.00 for their more advnced remote.
Why would you pay that amount for a remote considering the options on the market.

A couple of weeks ago I sent an email to this company concerning the origin of their technology and have not received a reply.
Effort only fully releases its reward after a person refuses to quit.
NAPOLEON HILL
Still Long on the future of One Voice and Voice Recognition.
So many here either don't understand the lenghths and efforts one must go through to break through the resistance of change.
They are usually the one that quit and are not winners but WHINERS.
To all those that know one voice isn't going to succed and has sold their shares. I say GFY.
The reasons are his own. You suggest that all reasons are negative in nature.
You have the same options.
Buy or Sell.
Take your deduction. Make a move.

One Voice will sink or swim on their own.
