Dec 7 Sandra does it... GB has got the inside info...
But, but but anyone care?
GSE R&R will be announced?
Get real
Don't see a change from 4.0% to 2.5% though
What happens December 7th, 2023? Pearl Harbor reenactment?
No. Date will be on final judgment.
No. It won't come into account. You will get a check.
No. You are automatically "in". Yet to be determined if holders are "known" and just go off of brokerage records (per the Ps request) or there would be forms mailed to you, then sent in, then analyzed (which takes a long while).
This is all post appeals.
Don't spend the money. It could be years away.
Happy trading
Sheesh from timeline into January and then 28 days to appeal and then appeal.
This is crazy. At least interest keeps building.
.50 on a $25 (a little light) but don't expect it for a year or two or three.
Yeah, me too - wondering if they will let Lamberth stew & review and then it will be announced.
Settlement? Always a chance?!
Navy or other - when does Pacer update?
Maybe after-hours?
FNMAT sure is and this is the one to pick
Right it isn't Lamberth as it is the Ps & Ds
Working on some numbers together.
Maybe some love is in the air?!
Maybe MannSinger is correct. Working on R&R?!
Anybody got a better explanation?
Yes, but they don't announce it as it will come on Pacer probably
Might have to wait a day or two unless someone has an inside track to the lawyer or Katie Buehler or something.
Interest on the damage award (about 80 cents) on FNMAS
So, not the same thing
RR news will hit without warning - much like the NWS
It will come and you will say, "Hmmm. Yeah, I guess it was time"
Uh, yeah, it has been time.
Not 2021, not 11/08/23, a date TBD
But, but, but...
Hard enough to figure out the damages, but will be easy to see who gets the $ based on the ex-div. date of ????
TBD
Our negotiator is deluded by creating a fictional character
Would be nice if this character did exist.
Howard, Luluvan logic is spot on
Converting SPS might be illegal, Warrants would not be.
Much simpler all around
IPO buyers would have to deal with 99.5% of shares from govt., not 80%
This scenario is likeliest to me, too... and $14 would be nice, huh? Well, maybe not the expected $2,500 but still nice.
Thanks! One week more to Nov 14th for interest
Waiting game across the board on shares... zero volume on almost all JPS
14 days from 10/24 is 11/7
GB And, so what was beginning? The flipping, the day-trading. Not the waiting for something to happen... that has been going on a very long time.
Sheesh
Talking politics? Probably not on this board... sorry about that
Clark - I get it both go up (can't go down, really)
I think JPS goes up more, though (15x on the cheap FMCCJ, etc.) and 10x on common ($7.50 for Fannie, not over $10 but I may be wrong on that).
But GB is wrong to think they won't go up and I continue to root for commons, as like you I own both!
Yes, if someone knew something, it would be screaming to $1 and above
Hoping for that occasion for commons and JPS will follow suit.
Let's go FNMA/FMCC then FNMAT!
Both cases, they know what the interest charges are
Just a matter of allocating it by security.
Oh, and the lawyers' fee percentage (gulp)
There was never a low ball offer for JPS
You are misremembering that.
Pretty much every option that has been discussed has a JPS conversion. Calabria, Moelis, etc., etc. It is a fast way to find $33B in capital.
Also, "turning back on" would be an out-date. Like another poster who said LoA with 2028 exit... they may say dividends back on in 2028 but the simplest and best way to raise capital would be a conversion.
CBO knows JPS needs to be dealt with, absolutely.
JPS look like zombies, the living-dead
And so it began says GB bwah-hah-hah
He knows jack-sh!t about anything beginning except looking at the stock PPS and commons do look like "they're alive"!
Love all the FMCC trades at .666 Good omen!
See Navy repost by Patswil Nov 7th after parties submit... maybe a few days or weeks later knowing Lamberth

Fortuna my kinda guy! Few posts but this gem bears repeating
You got snail-mail and you have various accounts! Good for you!
You had to do nothing... doing nothing keeps you in... you could have opted out... why?
So, when the time comes, you will get another form and you will fill in the share counts... ugh... like me many accounts and many shares.
Otherwise, maybe they will determine it for us... I sure hope so!
Sit back and as MoneyRobot would say, pop open a cola, and wait for the green-light on payment.
Welcome back!
It is simple interest
"5% over the discount rate equal to 1.63% + 5% = 6.63%"
What would the other number represent?
Your points are all well taken, but Biden/Yellen/Thompson etc. not doing anything that sniffs of release
The calls for release just keep bouncing off the receiving end.
Maybe the House Republicans can make more noise now that they are not rudderless and leaderless
We know McHenry knows the plight and issue and maybe he and others can get that bill rolling?!
10. NAR, and other trade groups pushing for release
Added one.
11. Former CEO Don Layton
Maybe that one too?!
Dark Lord GB says "And so it begins"
WTF that means or what he thinks he knows is almost laughable.
He has no inside scoop, but I do hope something is happening with the calls by some in the industry to release.
Seems like "Release from conservatorship" would allow for buying securities, and I do think that is the first step and one that would get the horse out of the barn.
Consent decree and then have some target dates.
They've had a plan since 2019 so it won't be difficult. Just dusty document that needs to be signed.
Whalen on "X" wonders if Biden could do it for budget reasons. I wonder too!
