chapter 7... the last chapter of skins footwear
good luck to everyone on your other ventures
i sure would feel better if they would get the web site up and accepting orders.
at over $100/pair it wouldn't take all that many orders to start some cashflow.
the ceo should be embarrassed that while reportedly drawing a salary of $5,000 per week, he can't update his homepage.
probably has to work on his short game or something...
a google search of skins footwear now brings up several retailers
maybe slow and steady is not a bad way to go..
maybe
I recall reading the same numbers... in late 2007 or early 2008. For that matter, my guess is that you are probalby right.
I believe you 100% when you say that you don't get anything for your involvement... that never crossed my mind. Like the rest of us - you get paid when you make a successful trade or long term investment - no matter the amount you risk.
My belief is that this issue is stagnant until the company does something. They currently show no signs of interest in us.
Here's some of my research on BLLB:
On August 10, 2007, they filed form 15-15D "CERTIFICATION AND NOTICE OF TERMINATION OF REGISTRATION"
http://www.pinksheets.com/edgar/GetFilingHtml?FilingID=5360970
Persuant to rule 12g-4(a)(1)(i)"Termination of registration of a class of securities under section 12(g) of the Act shall take effect 90 days, or such shorter period as the Commission may determine, after the issuer certifies to the Commission on Form 15 (17 CFR 249.323) that the class of securities is held of record by: Less than 300 persons"
http://www.law.uc.edu/CCL/34ActRls/rule12g-4.html
On August 20, 2007 articles of incorporation were filed in Florida (a notorious bankruptcy haven.)
Shares were at 10 cents.
All of the press releases between August 2008 and February 2008 resulted in the shares decreasing to 0.0006. They spiked to the .004x's a couple of weeks later. Then all contact with shareholders stopped. You know the results.
This is the most recent generic report I can find - and it says all figures are unavailable.
http://www.hotstocked.com/pdf/BLLB-71162-report.pdf
This is the last release that included WalMart on 2/14/08
http://preview.xignite.com/xReleases.asmx?op=xDemo&Option=Content&Param=963370
I recall that on the same date or before they announced that they had hired a new attorney. At the time, I posted some of his past clients and the results. They also relased info stating that they were preparing to be listed on the otcbb.
They have not been heard from since.
Don't get me wrong. I have hopes for them. I've not lost money on them, and hope to make some more cash on bllb's eventual success - or at least on it's rides up and down.
I don't know if you're interested in such info, but a search of public records will show you tax info on the family and their holdings in that part of TN. Google Earth will give you a good view of the storefront for the parcel they own, as well as another commercial lot a few hundred feet northeast of the store.
oh... how's the moderator thing coming along? is it taking more time than you expected?
maybe they sent them to the stores COD?
maybe just lack of interest
maybe the shoes were shipped to fantasyland
maybe we'll find out next week
maybe next week the new pr company will tell us
skins new logo - "maybe"
just like the good ole days...
links? to my knowledge there are no numbers released anywhere since the last filing where they stated that they no longer had to file anything due to lack of interest.
i'm just saying support 2.5M with something other than "cause I said so"
my concern is that they tried to have an explosive launch ... and this is the best they could do
where do you see that? (gross rev of $2.5M)
Amen.
can you feel the excitement???
i can't
Jim's Corporate Auditing and Diner
You'll come for the endless coffee refills, but you'll stay for the financial planning services.
just think about it for a minute...
pps market cap
0.0055 $5,445,000.00
0.006 $5,940,000.00
0.075 $7,425,000.00
0.01 $9,900,000.00
I'm a basher of this pos, and part of the r/s.
I will admit that I bought a enough at 0.0014 that I've made up my losses and retained a few shares. Luck more than smarts.
But look at the market cap with 990,000,000 shares ... there is no way in hell that this thing deserves a $5.5M cap....
Someone please explain how this stock is not doomed to the 0.000x's again in the next few months
that was good...
i looked them up and noticed that there is no stitching on the sole this year ... good.
the selection leaves a bit to be desired ... i'll wait to see if there are other styles at some of the other stores before i get a pair or two...
if you're thinking about getting in ... my guess is that this is your last week to get in before this company actually sells anything...
10,000 shares trade at .0003 ... a $3.00 transaction?
i just don't get it
More on the new filing...
From what I read:
The company decides when to sell their stock to get cash.
The pps will be 90% of the lowest weighted average of the last 5 days.
Max $2,000,000
Good for 18 months
This may not be so bad. If the company doesn't dig into this line too deeply until shoes are being sold, the dilution will be minimal...
With about 58,57000 shares out, and a 40,000,000 float, if they draw it all at .06, the dilution would be an additional 33,333,333 shares over 40% ... but at .16 it's only 12,500,00... at .25 it's only 8,000,000 shares...
Good afternoon NBVG fans! Here is an update of today's activities....
We've had a whopping 12,658 shares traded today between 0.0011 and 0.0013 ... that's almost $20.00 that changed hands today ... keep up the good work everyone!
the better news is that our market cap is still not effected by the itsy bitsy share price ... with somewhere around 5 gazillion shares outstanding, the market cap is still larger than the number of atoms in the visable universe ...
so, hang in there sports fans, and see what surprises are in store in the days ahead...
you may want to consider that the prices that the new creditors are able to purchase is a function of the lowest sale during the week.
its probably a good thing that nothing filled today at .045
ya know ... the last pr they issued on 2/14/08 said that they were in the process of trying to get relisted on the otcbb ....
could we dare hope that the recent activity is a sign of good things to come....
tdameritrade's chart still shows the .0012 as last sale ... but the ticker shows last as .003 and high as .001
odd
If you are correct on the number outstanding, I own 1%
i think there's something to getting shareholders together.... 10 million shares is 1% of float .. but what could we do?
as far as recruiting people ... just remember that the last filing by the company stated that they had too few investors to have to file anything with the sec - and that there would be no further filings. who knows what condition things are in now? all we have is speculation.
the filing might be worth challenging ... are there at least 300 individual owners?
I will give you 90% of my thoughts based on the lowest thought averaged over the last 28.5 posts or over the last 5 business days if the lowest average thought is less than the combined averaged posting of calendar year 2006.
-or-
I tried to read the release and, basically, it made my head hurt.
Would some wise soul please explain to me how 12,500 shares can sell for $0.0002?
That is a transaction of $2.50
wtf?
just curious
now at 0.0002 - and with no news in over a year, probably still double what it's worth.
so sad
25,000,000,000 a/s shares before r/s
If they were all outstanding - 50,000:1 r/s = 500,000 shares outstanding.
reducing a/s to 990,000,000 is still a 1980:1 dilution from where they started the day after the r/s.
1980 to 1.
If you bought at $0.0001 before the r/s, the dilution would put you at $0.0000000505
I would not want to be their accountant... and it would not surprise me if someone eventually does jail time over this company.
I was curious as to how the family lived, and if it could give me an idea of what's been going on in the last couple of years.
I was able to find the public assessment records for the three adult couples in the picture on their website. I was unable to find anything under the company name. (I may not have been looking in the correct place for business records. Something may exist.)
The children's homes are modest (google earth pics at street level.)
The Capt'n and Linda's home was a bit more difficult. There is an error on the assessment of the farmland that Linda owns. The owner address for the farmland differs from their home address slightly (road name is wrong.) Anyway, Rodney's and Linda's home is modest, also. There is no street level view available from Google.
The two boys have purchased a plot of vacant land in town just northeast of the store. The assessment record and the google earth street shot all verify that it is unimproved.
Nothing appears to be in Rodney's name ... not necessarily unusual ... There are a lot of Simmons in that part of the world ... and they own a lot of property - but again, not unusual.
I have no idea on the new building. I'm curious, but haven't really looked yet.
I know this is a very long post ... so let me add some disclosures ... bllb makes up under 1% of my portfolio. I'm not a stalker or pissed off about any loses. Although their addresses are publicly available, I strongly discourage anyone from disturbing these people at their homes in any way. Mail and phone calls from angry people are just annoyances that none of us need. It's also just not cool.
A note to the Simmons should they happen to read this... All info was available to the public (as is all property assesment records for TN.) None of this is personal in any way. I'm just trying to help fill the information gap that you are leaving. The public records of your personal holdings are the only items available to estimate how your publicly owned business is fairing. I know I have lampooned you from time to time here and on yahoo ... nothing personal ... just frustrated at the way your are handling this. It is no small feat to take a company public. I envy you that - and so do many other small business owners. Maybe there are reasons for your silence... I can think of a dozen ... but I'd rather just have my curiosity satisfied and know what the hell is really going on there in Bell Buckle.
Google Earth has street shots of the store location. Unknown date - and shows Bell Buckle Art Gallery - not the store.

Small signs of life?
at least it's trading a few shares most days.
an update of some kind from the company would be nice, instead of them acting like the cousin that you loan money to, and then never hear from again...
maybe in two weeks ... or years ... who knows...

No news and no shares traded!
yet another day with no news - and yet another day with no trades.
I'm sure that being president of the local chamber of commerce (or what ever he's doing with his time these days) keeps Captain "No-News" Rodney busy... but for the love of buddah do or say something!
when do we get dried and fluffed?
i've heard about those fluffers...
naked shorting???
if they dilute - something has to be filed - someone would have seen it and we would know.
the only thing i can think of that would account for the huge volume compared to the 500,000 a/s would be naked shorting.
does anyone know how naked shorting works in the pinkies?
over 900,000 shares traded
and they are supposed to have only 500,000 shares total?
have they diluted already?
Captain "No News" Rodney - in the news in the last month...

i think they are awol
my disgust is not about my personal cash loss ... fortunately, it was minimal
what disgusts me is the opportunity that CEO & Chairman-Kenyatto Jones has squandered here.
i think i posted before that i own a small company - less than 10 employees, a little less than $1M/yr in sales.
i imagine what could be done if i went public - and if i had an investor and support base anywhere near to what this company massed.
companies fail - it happens - and could happen to anyone
but i see no compelling evidence that Kenyatto Jones even tried. Looking back at his actions - it seems that his only goal was to cash out. there was no concern for share holders equity. none.
color me old fashined - but if you take investor's money, you have an obligation to that investor to attempt to do what you promised to do to get their cash in the first place.
legally, Kenyatto Jones may not have broken any laws - but ethically he appears to be a Madoff wannabe
if i'm wrong - i wish he would provide evidence to support his efforts.
i also wrote that the thought made me giggle.
i agree with you.
this is just another scam - an atm machine for the owners, nothing more
any bets on the date when the dynamic duo increases the a/s ???
with only 500,000 shares - unless they were able to short their own shares - they have to be running out of money.
my guess is that within the next month, we will see a blizzard of pr and an increase in a/s to 50,000,000.
60 day target - 0.0001
then another a/s increase mid-year to 5,000,000,000 shares
180 day target - 0.0001
i do look forward to reading all the newbie posts about how everyone is bashing a company that has good potential and a fantastic product.
i am very much enjoying the current posts, watching the dynamic-duo try to reset so that they can scam a whole new set of gamblers - and watching those of us who fell for the last round trying to save the next batch of victims.
we should try to get yahoo to open a message board for nbvg, so that we can spread the love.
lastly - who knows - maybe the new guy is trying to really fix the Scammer-in-Chief's evil ways - maybe there will really be a product - and maybe, just maybe, they will use this opportunity to turn this into a real company.
that last part made me giggle....
did anyone short this?
just curious
