I got it from the TA after some negotiation. I've already posted the reason for the increase (post 28059). Rather than post my own private emails, I'll let others verify this info. I'm a believer that the OS count is an extremely important number that should be transparently evident to all. Instead there seems to be some confusion as to how big the pie is, so to speak. btw, the increased shares are restricted.
Could one of the mods please correct the OS in the ibox, it should read 157,590,776. As of the end of August.
At about 1:56 into it, at the part with the guy with the tattoo handling the firearm, you can see a calendar on the desktop screen. It looks like mid-sept. However, I couldn't be sure so I asked:
Hi xx,
Thank you for your comments...the filming took place within the past two weeks.

Hi,
I just became aware of Max Martin's nice report about Virtra Systems that was posted to Youtube Oct 2. This is a company that I've followed for a long time, could you please tell me when that was filmed?
Thank you,
What is the standard procedure for announcing a sale ---- PR at contract signing, or after installation? What I'm wondering about is how many of those systems on that video have been PR'd? Likely 2 out of 10, the Army systems? Or could the Sept 7 PR, before the video was filmed, also be one of the 10 since it was worded as "sale" as opposed to "installed?"
Of course, just like $1 of five or ten years ago has to be adjusted to $1 in today's terms,so that we can compare apples to apples, that $8 comment needs to be adjusted to account for the OS increase. I don't know what epoch you are referring to, but circa 2002 the OS was 35M. The math: 35/157= 0.22, and that $8 comment becomes $1.50
getting the ihub financial info changed might take some work, but at least the ibox should be correct. The OS was 157.59M at the end of August, since 5M in stock options were exercised this summer.
What significance does .06 have? You do realize that it would make a difference if the company had 15.7M shares outstanding instead of 157M don't you? I share your enthusiasm, it's just that I think we're going to have to patiently wait for the company to grow a little. Which they seem to be doing..
exactly
Why do you think the price is being "driven down"? Take a look at the weekly vtsi chart at www.stockcharts.com. It's beautiful: 50 week average crossed over the 200 week, we bounced off the 200 and the on balance volume is clearly moving up. IMHO you are referring to daily fluctuations. Just noise.
the lack of sellers is remarkable. No buyers yet, but at least there doesn't seem to be constant selling. Patiently buying a little every month..
5cap
I guess that depends on what questions you asked.
147.5M x $0.053 = $7.8M
lol, an $8M market cap and you're complaining about no mojo from a $50k order. Slow and steady, the game plan is build the company and the pps will follow.
from that price list, you only need one wireless station per system. Yet they ordered more wireless stations than belts. So what's LM doing, adding threat belts to 15 different (non-virtra) systems?
yes, now it reads June 25th, although it didn't when I posted last. Maybe the link was the same and my browser didn't update. Or maybe it was changed. doesn't matter much..
actually I think that posting has been up since 6/15.
Got to love it, 146k trades at .06 while the bid/ask is .053/.06, followed by 1k at .05.
lol, too funny
you have a short term horizon, good luck with that.
147k shares traded at .050 or below followed by 6000 shares at .053 for the close. That really doesn't qualify as a "10% retrace"....
We've got weakness in the stock for obvious reasons, but unfortunately it's compounded by the market. As of tonight the futures are indicating the S&P will break 1120 which was a major support level. Put in your low ball bids and cross your fingers they get filled!
Thanks, I agree that it's the accumulated short position that counts and that is only reported twice a month, and it's been zero or close to zero lately. But in the trade that I gave, you can see from the ihub trade page that it's the second last one of the day and the last one was for 1513 at .064. Therefore we know that the 48487 was shorted to me and the mm is still short at least that amount. While not 100% transparent, even this level of knowledge is amazing compared to the way it used to be.
I had a buy ordered partially filled yesterday at 3:17pm for 48487 shares at .063. Here's where they came from, they were the only shares shorted all day:
http://regsho.finra.org/FORFshvol20100507.txt
Percent of daily volume shorted
35% Friday May 7
34% Thursday May 6
67% Wed May 5
63% Tues May 4
58% Mon May 3
33% Fri April 30
55% Thur Apr 29
Thanks for that nice comparison Spec. That backs up my earlier feeling that last Friday's volume was unrelated to the Monday morning PR.
And what is your opinion of Friday's action followed by Monday's PR?
Really?
Good point. You got to be careful who you believe on these message boards. For instance, some people use words like "always" as they disparage reverse splits. Check out ENCO, which did a reverse this February. Companies with poor financials that RS don't generally have good outcomes. But if the financials are healthy, it can serve it's purpose. That subsequent move on ENCO is paying a portion of our remodel. At some point DPDW will be healthy enough for a RS.
Pardon me if I X out my own info. This email was in response to a query of mine about the growing number of outstanding shares:

X,
Our share count is disclosed every quarter in our SEC filing. I would not be selling shares to the market without notice to all shareholders so the answer is no and if that ever changes you will see a news release and probably an 8 K. I have no idea how many shares will be outstanding when we reach a billion dollar market cap. I will tell you we are thinking about a reverse split at some point so we don’t remain a penny stock and hopefully can get listed on an exchange. I can also tell you we will continue to make acquisitions and will have to issue some stock to the owners of the businesses or the market place to raise capital to make the acquisitions, but hopefully every acquisition will not be dilutive. I have not changed my position on revenues yet.
Gene
I never posted my conversation
Gene told me last year
I know for a fact that's the plan. Acquisitions, a R/S, and listing.
Charlie, why are you expecting this good news? If I look at the most recent filing it includes the sentence "Based upon recent sales and current prospects, we anticipate revenue for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2010 to be in the range of $ 1,300,000 to $ 2,000,000." So looking at the first half revenue ending Dec 31, $1M, that leaves the revenue range for second half of the fiscal year at $300k to $1M. So according to management the second half revenue will be at best flat compared to the first half.
It's an open question if Friday's volume had anything to do with today's PR. If it did, someone's in trouble. With insider info in hand you don't put in buy orders for x50 average volume and expect to get away with it. It's much easier for me to believe that this has to do with the gulf and we don't know the whole story yet.
I've been on the phone with tdameritrade twice this morning trying to figure out why my buy orders at the ask are not getting filled. Finally got some info, they are claiming that at times this morning its been a locked market due to an non-responsive market maker. end result is tdameritrade is not showing the correct bid/ask, although they are claiming its not their fault.
Rodrth, I don't think I've ever seen that commercial that you are referring to, but the statistic is incorrect. Annually, US imports of oil products from Saudi Arabia alone are roughly twice the US ethanol consumption. Something like 24 Billion vs 11 Billion gallons of ethanol.
Some T/A's will give out the OS...and some will not. What is the actual law on this? My impression is that some transfer agents will give out the OS with a simple phone call or email while others have a policy that keeps them mum except under written authorization from the company. Is the current OS share count public information or not?
I suggest testing your dilution theory by calling the TA.
Difficult only if you are valuing the company based solely on the balance sheet. Of course you could instead ask yourself what would the value be if they landed a very large military order.
I wouldn't put him on a pedestal... check out this post below and then take a look at the two year chart. It was the time to load up for a 10-bagger and his call was completely and utterly wrong.

What evidence is there of naked shorting?
lol, you have me there spec. I was going by the language in the filing itself, I hope management won't be following their own words exactly.
Actually it says 15 calendar days after... so I expect COB Friday is the deadline.
