Can the revocation ever be reversed? Could it become a publicly traded company again? Thank you for your help.
What does this mean for stockholders?
I don't think that is the right Green Energy Group, either. Someone else posted the correct link yesterday.
http://thegreenenergygroup.com/
Ummm... I don't think you have the correct Green Energy Group linked there.
As a long time shareholder here (since 2001), we have been through this before - waiting for the "quiet period" to end. So far, it has never amounted to anything, but I am hoping this time will be different.
Information is very hard to come by with this company. I'm not trying to bash - just being honest.
Since they did spend quite a bit of money getting caught up on filings, maybe this time there is actually something cooking.
Two posts were deleted yesterday: #1833 and #1834. I wonder what they said and why they were deleted?
Can someone explain this to me? What does SS mean? What was interesting in the e-mail? I am not a day trader so I need some help. Thank you!
Interesting. Glad he is responding, at least.
His last name is Richmond - so I don't know if your e-mail will get to the right person.
Yes - I bought my first shares in 2001. Been through a lot with this stock. But I'm hopeful about what is happening now. I don't want to get too excited and count my chickens yet, but it's definitely more interesting than it was on Sept. 12th!
Yes CJ - you got it right. On the latest 10K filing for "A Super Deal" did anyone else read the part about the biomass technology? While nothing solid, it sounds interesting.
I wonder if this is folks that bought in cheap last week looking to take profits off the table?
Yes - you're right about that!
No, probably not. I am amazed that these guys have persevered this much - I said that in a post last week. I'm impressed with that for sure.
No - I wouldn't. I think these filings are a good sign. The best I've seen for a while. But for those of us who have been here a long time, there have been other good signs that never amounted to anything. So we are taking a more cautious approach. That's all I'm saying.
Good luck to all!
I think Articstorm (among others who have been holding shares for a very long time) is skeptical because this stock has been such a roller coaster for over 10 years now.
I have been in for 9 years, and I can't tell you how many times my hopes have been raised, only to be dashed again when nothing happens. I don't want to rain on the parade - I want this stock to finally take off! But I'm just trying to show where I think he is coming from.
I know we are all hoping that this time may be different. At least there is some forward progress; the most we have seen in a long while. Patience is going to be the key here, as it has been for a very long time now, IMHO.
Good catch. I did not notice until I saw your post that A Super Deal also submitted filings. So did another one of the spin-offs called E Secure Soft. Did you read the part about the biomass technology?
I hope smarter folks than me read that latest filing for A Super Deal and comment on it here.
Some interesting reading for the investors here:
Go to the company website, http://www.ecomecom.net/, and over on the right side of the page, under "News", click on the second news item entitled "eCom eCom.com Announces Agreement Reached with American Capital Holdings, Inc."
This will give you some information on the warrants that ACH (same principals) has the right to purchase from ECEC for .50 each. So, in my humble opinion, they are going to want this stock to go well over .50 per share. Remember that American Capital Holdings is Barney Richmond's company too.
I'd like to know what others think after reading it.
This is an old press release, but as far as I can tell, they still have the agreement in place to purchase the warrants.
If I recall correctly, this stock has to go to at least .50 for the insiders to be covered.
Yes - there have been numerous interested parties (I don't know how else to describe them) over the years, as well as name changes. Lots of potential deals that fell through for one reason or another.
As I said in another post, some of these folks may be still be involved behind the scenes, but until they issue a PR, we can only speculate. I'm thinking in particular about a very large water filtration company based here in Florida.
These are old, defunct companies. As far as I know, just the shells are what is left.
You're right - the tax loss carry forward is huge.
Yes - I think you have it right. It's a very unique situation, that we were told several years ago, has never been accomplished before.
Check this out: http://thegreenenergygroup.com/
It's a link that someone either sent me or it was posted last year - I can't remember which. The site is very vague, but it is supposedly what they have so far for the Green Energy Group.
At one time, there was a considerable sized water filtration company involved, too. It's local down here in Florida, so some of those folks may still be involved behind the scenes. I'm not sure.
Information has been difficult to come by for quite a while now.
Good question, and honestly, I don't know. I wish Articstorm would check in here because he would know the answer to that.
I don't know what, but something is brewing, IMO.
Barney and Rick could have thrown in the towel a LONG time ago, out of sheer frustration and lack of funds. Getting these filings up to date would be like throwing good money after bad....unless you have something really good in the works.
Maybe it's the Green Energy Group.
Right - they are not trading yet. There is no value in them (as far as I know) in and of themselves, except for the fact that they are clean shells. I believe anybody who owned shares in ECEC on the date of record for the spin-offs received the spin-off shares.
There is lots of detail on that on their website. It's old info, however, that has not been updated in a while.
I have all of my spin-off shares in my account. They were issued. They have no value, but the shares are there.
I e-mailed Articstorm last night. Let's hope he chimes in here this morning.
Good morning folks! I got up early this morning and got caught up on reading all of the posts. As you can see, until yesterday this board was very inactive. What a change!
I am not any kind of expert on stocks, markets, or even this stock. But I have been holding it for a long time, and I can tell you that there is quite a history here. Every time I have thought, "well, that's it, my investment is lost", it comes back to life like Lazarus.
Now I'm not talking about the PPS, because that has been terrible for a long time. I'm talking about events. The death of the original owner/CEO and the subsequent problems related to that was a big hurdle to get over, but they did it. The spin-offs were a big hurdle to get over, but they did it. The bankruptcy was a big hurdle to get over, but they did it. Getting up to date on all of these filings with no income was another big hurdle. But they are doing it. One thing these guys have is perseverence.
Let's hope it pays off big.
Articstorm is very knowledgeable about this deal. He has followed it closely.
The last 9 years with this stock has been a roller coaster ride - let me tell you. But the reason I have hung on to hope, is that Barney and Rick have so much blood, sweat, tears, and MONEY invested in this thing.
Did you notice on the 10-K, they also have a huge tax loss carry forward? To the tune of almost $7.5 million. Another attractive selling point for a viable company looking for a clean shell.
It's embarassing really - because I paid way too much. But at the time it sounded good. I bought a big chunk in 2001, at around .60 per share.
I have some very good friends who knew the previous CEO (now deceased), and they were and still are heavily invested. Over the years, I have purchased more as the price kept falling, and as a result have averaged my price way down.
As I said before, it still has a long way to go before I can break even. But I also have free shares of the many "spin-pff" companies that were available a few years ago, and if any of them ever gain any value, that's a plus for me too.
Hi Folks! Long time shareholder here - hoping that this finally really takes off. I still have a long way to go before I can break even, but all of this activity today gives me hope.
Thank you. I'm not an expert on any of this - still learning!
What does that mean? Thank you.
No Larry - a couple of us have been trying to get some information, but no luck so far. Articstorm has been very good about updating us when he has something, and I will do the same.
Ok - thank you very much!
jenhockey@aol.com
Articstorm,
What do you think about the post by Gurugirl? I don't know what to make of it. Very confusing.
