Agree, Scarletts lack of transparency is maddening.
Dilution of shareholder value has been going on for years. Scarlett doesn't really care about long term shareholders. He could be selling more shares into this run up.
A couple of years ago FMR owned over 23 million shares and they were the largest shareholder. They have been selling since the JnJ departure.
FMR is not JnJ. Abigail Johnson has no ties to JnJ.
Where did you see where they are buying huge chunks of stock. So far they have only been granted huge options.
At one time FMR owned 23,000,000 shares and for some reason, they reduced their holdings. I don't think it matters that much because those shares were bought by somebody,

FMR/Abigail Johnson reduced their holdings by 47%.

The link to Gern chart doesn't work.
It's an accumulation of big and small orders during the trading day.
Throughout the day, people send in orders to the exchange marked Close. Instead of dealing with the hubbub of ordinary market hours, these participants want their shares in one simple, guaranteed order. The exchange collects closing orders and matches them all up at the end of the day. Any bids or offers still resting out there on the NYSE order book at the end of the day may also be called upon to fill out all of these closing orders. (Again, a resting order can only get a better price by being brought into this closing auction, never worse.) One final price is determined and all the accumulated orders are matched up in one final execution.
It doesn’t matter what the share price is to JnJ. They will base their offer on the value of Imet and Gerons patents.
A must read. This could be why GERN SP is so low.

I found this site and its a little disturbing to me that we might be repeating the 2007 scenario. Is this all being orchestrated by GERON again? Why haven't we booked the $35 mil? A lot of hype and no follow thru on the results. Does Merck still have options on Imetelstat? I'm still long but starting to question a repeat of 2007?

Article in women's health mag on the surprising way people get cancer ". The study came about because researchers wanted to understand why some body tissues, such as those in the small intestine and pancreas, have higher cancer risk rates than others. So they tracked the number of stem cell divisions that happen across 31 tissue types, comparing these figures with the lifetime risks of cancer in these same tissues among American adults. The conclusion: The higher the number of cell divisions the tissue endures, the higher the cancer risk rate was. “Our study shows, in general, that a change in the number of stem cell divisions in a tissue type is highly correlated with a change in the incidence of cancer in that same tissue,” said study investigator Bert Vogelstein, M.D., the Clayton Professor of Oncology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, in a news release. The more cell divisions that happen, the greater the chance that a random mutation occurs—and malignancy develops."
Doesn't Imetelstat address this by keeping the telemeres longer?
Anybody know why Chip isn't listed as a major direct holder of stock or listed on the insider roster anymore?
If you read through these Imetelstat publications it sounds like its a miracle drug. Looks like Genentech, Bristol Meyers, Merck all knew about it but they made no offers. Why is it still under $5?? Makes no sense.

Looks like it's a bio fund run by Fidelity which is run by Abigail Johnson.
This latest filing for the Johnson Family trust makes things interesting. Our chances are getting better.
It takes on average 25.7 months for phase 2 to complete with a 14% chance of making it to phase 3. Phase 3 takes on average 30.5 months with a 9% success rate.. Most people can't wait that long or take the risk. I doubt if we will see any stock movement until phase 2 is almost complete. JNJ might be able to speed it up but they still need to get phase 2 results first to decide if they even want to pursue it.
Looks like this might fill the gap at $2.40. If it does it could bounce right back to the 3 level. i hope.
Did Gern sell all the rights to imet to JnJ or only for the application to MF?
Fantastic article. Wish it was in Forbes or on Bloomberg.
I think DRGG is out of business. No financials since 2008 and their email does ot work.
There is no insider buying??? They got those shares for FREE!!!
I think your a little anal retentive. Relax its a message board not the Wall Street Journal.

There is no smart money here.. On December 6, 2010, we entered into an exclusive license agreement with Angiochem, Inc. plus they needed money for all there trials which are 2-3 years away from market. They will do another secondary or reverse split before they have any major products on the market.

If everything is going so well why would they sell 2.6 mil shares at $5. Why did they put out a PR the day before to run the price up?
HAUP up .85 at $3.05 on no news. Zeev followed this for years. Anybody still following it? News after close?
They are a packaging company in china. I think for medical supplies. They could be a shell co for other businesses. Google them
Just because they report to the sec doesn't make them legit.
Have you forgotten about ENRON.

I was looking at my favorite people list and I noticed that Bearmove and Zeev stopped posting during the same week??? HMMM?
What happened to Bearmove? MCZ is looking strong and he was all over it on the last one.
Well the presentation wasn't what I was hoping for but I'll hold my shares. Did we lose Merck or did they just pass until clinical trial results? I was having trouble hearing.
What's wrong with SONS?? Are they not on track for record revenue?
Network Engines CEO bought 20K shares at $1.65 The filing notes the purchase occurred yesterday. Maybe there's positive news on the horizon.
SONS- What happened? I thought we were on the road to recovery with this one.
