g/m blue, this little xchange and the post that prompted it (look up one that started it) tells me that NITE may have gotten sucked in on what they perceived to be a death spiral....lol....and whether by a stroke of luck or a stroke of genius, CMKX is climbing out (hence the consternation of many a iHub posters)

Ya think Urbie should have taken that into account before he issued all that stock?
That is one way they advertise .. by their share price so they avoid being tagged as a P O S.

If you're applying that to CMKX...
If you consider your stock your life blood and take some pride in it you try to keep a respectable price to limit the dilutionary effects of all future financings.
Then why did Urbie issue what was at that time an absolutely amazing 7 billion shares shortly after he took control of CMKI?
I hear, by the way, that that was one of the reasons GEMM called the merger off. Just the buzz, of course.
Here's what I believe about CMKX, until I hear differently....to engage in anything else, is well, speculation.....lol

NITE NITE for good, soon....rotflmao
geez, you crack me up, you are quoting a NYSE maintenance requirement for shorting stocks in a margin account ($2.50 a share for stocks under $5.00/share or 100% MVS, whichever is greater), when we are dealing with a pink sheet issue getting wide exposure in Canadian markets
My opinion is not only are you wrong (most of the time), these posts of yours downright distort the truth.....do you have any idea when you are outsmarted:)
add on: outsmarted or not, guess the hourly rate remains the same...lol
NITEY NITE.....too damn funny here....lol
....know you have a winner, because NITE knows too!

It would be my contention that CMKX would not be taking the bold moves its taking if it didn't have the BOOTY to back it up....I mean think about, if all you had was dirt, do you think a high-powered firm with a reputation to protect would pay CMKX any mind. Nope, don't think so. I think UC was referred to the firm, and had the bag of diamonds in one hand and documentation of stock shorting in the other, and said:
Hello, Mr Glenn, I sure could use your expertise....
HAPPY 4TH ON CMKX BOARD....I MEAN IT:)
HAPPY 4TH ON THE CORNER, AND THANKS A MILLION FOR YOUR PATRONAGE
little bit of my philosophy re bashing, subtle or otherwise (I just sent this pm to a poster bashing CMKX)
when I buy for a flip, I may or may not announce that I'm doing that, but one thing for sure I don't do is announce a position, flip the position, then come back after I've flipped the position and warn people about the position....it's a slap in the face to those who may have held, or worse yet bought in on your original thoughts.....I view what you're doing as very low class, and XXXX did the same thing as you, and I told him that as well.....my standards in life are the same as here....treat others as you would like to be treated.....it's a good motto to live by, and a decent way to approach life and love.....I wish you the best XXXX.....
people should tread carefully....appreciate your kind thoughts and those cheap shares the other day, I'll gladly sell back to you later, perhaps a trickle at .10
....your kind support of CMKX is appreciated, even though no position is currently held.....we shareholders need kind folks like you looking in on us....thanks again for the visit!
Elgindy and five co-defendants were charged in 2002 on charges they conspired to drive down the price of the shares of companies they targeted in a short-selling scheme
.....and here we were told by shell that short & distort was a myth.....LOL

what trading phase could CMKX be in>>>>>>>>>>
Stage 6: The Accumulation!
PUMP & DUMP = (Gone/Waiting/Buying) If the manipulator sees an opportunity the stock is on the floor and not part of the Short & Distort campaign they will begin buying back in slowly accumulating. As the Shorters were shorting first manipulator was selling, so it goes the other way. Buying to put pressure on the shorter to cover. Accumulation by new investors and averaging down of old investors are leads to the pressure on the short. what if you average up....lol
SHORT & DISTORT = (Pressure) The shorts have taken it too far. The volume is increasing and the price is not effectively dropping. A stalemate occurs. Personal attacks increase. Threats of legal action, SEC involvement, and yes even death threats increase. Increased secret IDs are employed to increase the cluttering, personal attacks and the distortion. Pump and Dump is fraught though out because the pressure is increasing. So begins a string of lies that run for as long as one's stomach can take it. Desperately playing on the "you have been had" scenario. Any news the shorters hit it hard to kill any interest.
Note: Watch the volume not the share price. A market manipulator will have various brokers buying and selling the stock to give the APPEARANCE of increasing volume but the price goes down. Thus stimulating the story the company is selling or an off shore reg S or other convenient scenario. Watch for large blocks that show up but have a MM special code, cross overs, etc.
Arch's note: short & distort at this phase also talks about items such as brokers, who trades pink sheets, basically inane stuff appealing to amateurish trading practices at best

NITE ee's logging in mega hours, but the overriding theme in their posts, is:
1. first of all, alot of repetition
2. sounds like the garbageman's truck after awhile
3. general theme of sarcasm, and subtle attacks
4. tinge of boredom, because instead of a dream of being a part of something with so much potential, THEY HAVE AN HOURLY WAGE (& quota)
5. UNHAPPY, lonely people, can't think of the top 3 NITEY's here ever talking about family
6. they're lucky if they HAVE THE TWINS....lol
I couldn't agree more, all things pointing toward that merger, joint venture, I mentioned this on the Corner over six months ago, it's been in the works for awhile, both companies wanted to posture themselves with other jv, working arrangements, and the like. UCAD's been quiet about their working partner's NY firm, but I believe its being bankrolled by both companies, if not a few other companies in there too. NITE ee's working overtime to keep sp in check, that's okay, because the gap between current sp and the open when this is all announced will be a few pennies and if you hold mega millions of shares, you'll be able to put those walking papers in the next day.....then you can become a NITE ee just for giggles....LOL
whoops, I've seen enuff....lol....NITE, NITE, NITE
the scariest thing about the newsbox....lol

what the naked short doesn't want to hear>>>>
....He couldn't stress to me enough that we all need to be patient. He said this to me many times throughout the day. I told him how disappointed I was in Friday's trading activity and more specifically that the pps didn't increase after what I viewed as a great PR about the airborne survey results. He assured me that this issue was being taken care of. I specifically mentioned naked shorting and that there appeared to be alot of it going on during Friday's trading. He acknowledged the fact that he was also aware of that. I asked him if that was the reason Urban hired a law firm of the caliber of E&A and specifically Roger Glenn and he shook his head yes.

ah, but what if, and I mean what if, there were improper, ill-advised, mistaken (the scenarios are endless here) distribution of shares vis-a-vis stock dividends, splits etc.....BY A TRANSFER AGENT
.....I'm of the opinion your opinions are short-sighted:)
I agree:)
Goodbye & GoodNITE....more consolidation today:)
here's one I call the egotistical short>>>>>
Shorters tell the public the truth about stock scams and loser investments.
Shorters are generally sued frivolously because of releasing honest negative
information. They are doing a service to the public. They regulate the markets
better than the SEC. They should be allowed to play the stocks down just as
others are allowed to play the stocks up. There must be financial gain in order
for them to bear the huge risks and costs involved in releasing negative news.
Why in America do we think that we should only speak positively. That is what
causes our stock market collapses. It's bad enough the major news distribution
companies will not allow negative news to be released about any company unless
it comes from the company itself or they give expressed permission. The US
investor is only allowed to see positive news. All these factors make shorting
a necessity in these markets. If markets were allowed to go up and up, the entire
market would eventually collapse. We need shorters to let out a little market
steam from time to time so the entire market doesn't explode and collapse. Please
allow the markets to be balanced naturally by honest capitalism. It will help
sustain a healthy market and will help all investors in the end.

shorters, regulating the market....lol....Hows Island Life?:)
Appreciate all the cheapies:)
why to worry about the SEC shell.....I believe you mentioned Willy should look out as well.....just concerned about the dark aura:)
...In recent months, several companies have sought to discover the identities of posters so they can sue them for slander.
And in early May, three small companies banded together to retain an attorney to sue anyone posting libelous information about their businesses.

some jobs just ain't worth it....how true...lol...that Short & Distort piece sure sounds like dirty pool, does it smack you the same way shell?
check this out shell.....Short and Distort: The Less Publicized Sister of the Pump and Dump
The classic Pump and Dump is a well known scam used by promoters to try to make unsuspecting investors part with their money. What one does not hear that much about is the stock scam of making money off the fall of a stock price. Around the investment water cooler, this is sometimes referred to as the Short and Distort. The Short refers to short selling, that is, the selling of stock by an investor who does not own the stock that he or she is selling.
We have set out below, the various stages of the Short and Distort.
Phase 1: Research. The short and distort player will look for stocks that might be overvalued.
Phase 2: Short Sell. When there is a bit of activity on a stock due to news, the short seller comes into the market and sells short (sells stock that he doesn't own).
Phase 3: Rumour Mill. Unlike the scamster in the Pump and Dump, the scamster will now engage in a campaign to undermine the worth of the stock is shorted by spreading rumour. This can be done by negative posts to message boards, chat rooms, newsgroups, issuance of newsletters recommending the sale of the stock, etc. This plan of distortion is aimed on enticing investors to dump their stock with the prime objective of driving the price down. Instead of excitement, the distorter tries to stimulate fear.
Phase 4: The Cover. Now that the price is falling, the distorted must buy stock to cover his or her position. The distorter buys the stock at a discount thereby making his profit. In order to create a selling frenzy which the distorted must do in order to buy enough stock to cover his position and not drive the price up in the interim (thereby minimizing his profits) he will create the impression that there is a great deal of selling taking place. He will do this by having his friends and brokers cross stock to each other giving the impression of large volume.
Phase 5: The Loss. The buyer who initially bought the stock at elevated prices, sold at lower prices on the mistaken belief that the stock was worthless based on the distortion campaign.
if conflict results with transfer agent, that's what will be told, along with announcement of new agent, and hopefully a merger, share count, etc....all usual business in the corporate world....JULY shaping up nicely!
