One of the most amazing things is that the bailouts like those that have been given to Greece, Portugal and the Republic of Ireland are actually illegal in European law, they are specifically outlawed in the treaties that established the Euro. But then as I said, nothing, not even their own rules, can be allowed to get in the way of the ultimate end game of a United States of Europe
Yes, being outside the Euro and therefore having the ability to control your own economic policies and most importantly interest rates has been what has saved the UK
Yes there undoubtedly has been but you don't keep giving a junkie more hits
I can't talk about continental Europe where I suspect there is more support for the concept of the EU and a federal Europe, but certainly in the UK there is a great degree of sceptism about the whole "European project".
My own opinion is that the unelected burocrats in the European Commission don't care how much they have to subvert democracy by continually ignoring the actual wishes of the people, (eg the result of a referendum doesn't give you the result you want then just keep holding it until you do get the result you want!), don't care how much money they have to waste, don't care how many economies they have to totally destroy, don't care how many ordinary peoples lives have to be destroyed. All that is important is that their big idea, their dream, of a politically united Europe, of which the Euro was an important step, is kept alive at any cost and f**k the consequences for ordinary people.
In short the EU is a horribly bloated, burocratic affront to democracy.
And yet the European Union's answer is more bail outs for Greece, Portugal and whoever else gets in trouble. Adding more and more debt to countries that can't afford to pay back the debt they already have is madness. Not based on economics or what is best for the people of these countries, but instead it is all based on saving the Euro and the political project of European integration that the EU elite is obsessed with
Bryant will simply move onto one of his other shells
Just a little one, but a little one on SLV, a little one on SSO and another on NTAP and I'm not looking too bad for the day. Learning not to look for a home run (an American sporting analogy - not too bad for me eh!) each time but slow and steady wins the race.
A little +0.30 on SLV - 36.10 - 36.40, following your positive comments this morning in the room
LPS - missed the first trade, but just out 24.78 to 25.14
I had similar problem yesterday, high winds and general bad weather meant I kept losing connection intermittently, sat on my hands all day and didn't make a single trade, too afraid of being caught in one
There seemed to be a large wall at 27.85, had 3 or 4 goes at breaking it with decent volume and failed each time
This is the day for leaving lots on the table - first STEC and now AAP, in 62, out 62.45
Check out the slow motion at 35 secs - nasty!
Yep, target for day done, can relax now!
Yes, I know, out too early as usual, but profit is profit
Me too, out at 15.98
I think there were insider buys announced after hours yesterday
Won't be mentioned, or even thought about again
Still down for the day but I'm actually feeling ok about it. CCME started trading today, down nearly $10 to $2.18. I had tried to play it a few times prior to it's suspension. Sold out for the final time just 2 or 3 days before it was halted, I held it in my retail account with a fair amount of margin, I would have been completely wiped out if I had of been caught, so feeling ok about things today despite being down. Large lesson learned, thankfully without any damage.
Yes, saw that
out at 54.65
Yes, 54.60, moving it up 5 with every 5 increase
Not this time, but it's what I normally do! Still in, with a very tight stop
Oh no!! You're turning into me!!
I think you should give a special dispensation!
Apparently CCME opens on the pinks tomorrow
A little late to the party, but got 0.70 off the 27
Legit company, nice niche product, too many promoters and history of dilution.....
In on the break of $21 early, sold at $21.88, left plenty on the table, but I'm happy
I think he/she doth protest too much
Come on! Get that pump going!! I have 20 shares left after 2 reverse splits to unload!
Very nice! I only made 0.50 on a quick trade this morning, but I'm happy with it!
QIHU approaching the 28 again
LVS HOD
$1.20 on TNA following your new IWMology and the volume alert - was only in small so still down for the day but got back half of the mornings loss
I wish they would review the many bad normal hour trades that I make!
Trying not to - on the second trade I entered on the pull back from 24.50 to 24. When 24 held I got back in at 24.10. Originally had stop loss of 23.60, changed it to 23.90 to be really safe on the basis that if 24 broke we could see new lows. If I had kept the 23.60 it wouldn't have been taken and I would be looking good now. Better being safe than sorry though I suppose.
Hope you're feeling better
3 scalps long on regn - all green
2 trades on bc - one gain, one loss, up a little
1 trade on rok - stopped out
Overall green for the day
Back in ROK at 88
Stopped out, oh well
