Done . My financial planner sees this in my portfolio he shakes his head with a frown. These OTC stocks are fun yet they come with oversized risks. I got onboard with FRPT they up listed and off she went. If I remember correctly we hit $27. It was not long and SEC was looking at it. The CEO was pumping the stock. I got out moved to NAVB up listed then hit $5 +\~ that is where I landed on this one. Manipulated all of them and it is because the reporting is pretty loose with very little oversight from regulators. It would be a humble opinion that all SEC investigators are moving on someday many to companies that they have been charged with having oversight of. Hardly any enforcement certainly nothing of note. The protest lodged when we got TSA approval is a prime example. When the protest was resolved it was noted how frivolous the protest was. We the shareholders watched her drop from 1.80 too a final bottom a couple of months ago in the upper .20s. The company acquired a butt load of its current debt that is strangelling the companies ability to turn a profit. We lost value iMSC today needs to restructure its debt. Most of it all due to a competitor filing a piece of paper. No penalty for the frivolous protest added-weight on a company that is American, hiring Americans, and apparently making a sector product that is totally disruptive and superior. I have never sold a damned share it is disgusting what is allowed to transpire on the OTC exchange outright crooks- still I am long feel like many here that we should be a lot higher as to price per share. Whatever Buffaloes idea about the lottery ticket was darned funny. Who knows jackchit I don't. Long I sure would enjoy the share price firming up. The rest of it has been hashed out pretty throughly. Have an excellent weekend looking forward to the CC hope it is bland I will buy some more on a dip.
Thank you, should have privided a link myself. Really not looking for a disagreeable discussion merely replying to an earlier question.
Zeynoc, what are the chances they take it private.?
We safe discussing quarterly and they do not have file them. End of story.
Ok, filing with your banking or insurance regulator is filing with the SEC. Right on I guess.
It says; or banking. They do not have to file w the SEC which is why the OTC is such a. Crapshoot. I am glad that we file but they sure do not have to
Winters, unless the SEC has changed its requirements (SEC does zero) OTC equities are not required to file. IMSC files in an attempt to remain legitimate with the long view that they will up list to a real exchange in the future.
I am betting that we have another positive qtr. With a good report with regards to current cash flows. Outside of that I think it is all quiet on the western front.

Ted I read all of your posts. I would like to postulate as an example- lets for the sake of dialog that; Imsc has two or three devices in the ETD space, $20 shareptice and fifty million cash on hand. A big fish wants the tech. Are they a) a buyer or b) partnership? Instead we have a company that has only 1qtr with positive cash flow. That was last qtr the coming earnings call will show us as cash positive again. Unfortunately the cash flow is inadequate to pay down the principle. In what I understand your position to be a big fish comes along side imsc and like an older brother or a rich uncle hands out 50 some million dollars- you suggest stock. The share price is already under tremendous pressure from whoever it is that has been dumping shares. They seem to have it dried up currently though making payments in stock makes no sense to me. Continued dilution and more hand wringing.
Maybe if the handheld pops out and margins are reasonable we get out of this mess but I can not see any company that has a competent financial team saying, " hey you are a good upcoming etd company. You have great tech and we want to use your product with our portal. Here is enough money to pay off that pesky little debt that is hauling you down. Most in finance love a good deal that is buy low (now) sell high (immediately incorporate it into our existing platform.I I can't see a partnership for imsc. The only alternative to a buyout that I can see as doable would be the sale of the imsc B220 platform to a big fish and the company stays solvent continuing to develop other products. Even that is problematic though it is an alternative that I do not think has been addressed. Still if L3 is indeed interested they will just purchase the entire plant and keep the current team developing new smarter tech. AIMHO of course
Implant is what one might refer to as a plum. Nice fat and juicy just hanging there waiting to be picked. I think it is about that simple. The question on all of our minds is simply who and when? McGann has already solid one company- he did it for a pretty good number. I have confidence that with Platinum leading things we should see a fine little profit turned for being patient.
Pretty good conversation going today. Lot of what ifs.... I used to wonder if my aunt had a pair if she would have been my uncle. What with the Olympic decathlon champ deciding to be an aunt. I just don't know what to think about an if. Buffaloes gets the funniest what if post I am still laughing.. Zeynoc I am with you in your comments. Seems obvious... Of coarse this is de.ja vie all over again
Should be a couple of interesting sessions on deck and in the whole. Heading into the weekend we should see those not wanting to get caught on the sidelines over the weekend. I don't know when L3 releases PRs after the bell or prior to the clang in the morning. I liked Teds term- Stealth like- so true. All things considered I have been grooving on the uptic here.
i think that one often sees three up days followed by a breather also referred to as consolidation it will take off again and hit .82 on our next leg up. Later today or the next couple of sessions. I kind of have it in my head that were around 1.25 on May 11th. Of course AIMHO
Somewhat of an aside thought here on my part but. We were sitting at $1.80 -morpho files fivilous protest. Share price tumbles (eventually) too .29. Morpho recently merged:/acquired with Smiths. Share price goes positive. Whenever we have a discussion of valuation there are widely differing views on what a BO/partnership value should or could be. I have always been one that believed that any manager that under promises and then over delivers is an A rated manager. Pie in the sky numbers OK. With nothing to hang valuations on Zeynoc has popped out some numbers that make sense while adding that the things we don't know are hard to impossible to value- i.e. Could be worth a potful more than envelope numbers. IMHO the lowest number that will be accepted is the $500 million Mr Glenn Bolduc declared in his tenure as CEO of IMSC. That number could certainly climb likely will- the truth- we are guessing- arguments based on guesses are hum- the shifting sands make it difficult but it is surely much more interesting on the rise. More as it becomes available. My position finally went positive again- that is not to say I am not gun shy I am. No guts no glory.
Si si senor, you have been a long term holder and an encouragement in thin down times. I like the way that the Share price is steadily climbing the ladder again. What was that saying? It's dejavue all over again. Closed at .61 today. If history is any guide next couple of sessions we hit .75. Now if old B9 finds his way back to this we find ourselves truly dejavuing big time. I am in total agreement with you-we have the new mouse trap and apparently it works (so far our competitors don't do anything but squeak) GLTA that have stuck it out. I wonder if hatecastro ever cruises by anymore?
It is hard to nearly impossible to apply what we might call normal valuations to this company. 2X or 3x earnings does not really address what is present in value. Vintage has a prior post attempting to illuminate upcoming introductions. The future potential must be apart of valuing this. The simplest vector that I can think of is McGann has a track record. Like most heavy hitters I am sure he wants to "hit" it further than the last one. The last long ball was for over $800 million. Glen Bolducs number was $550million. I look for a low number at or over $550m to plus $880million. Just a simple shot in the dark as a muse. Nothing will surprise me here though. We have been told that shareholders will be happy- go ahead and make me happy.
Zeynoc what does an $880 million number workout as a per share value? AIMHO
Kind of interesting trading today. News that is positive has this on a nice little run the past couple of weeks. Looking like a million shares changing hands today. Yet the SP remains depressed. Oh well go tell it too somebody that cares. This has been one of the most mysterious equities I have ever been invested in. Great story- it is the otc part of the ticker that allows for these little games that go on here. My FP just shakes his head when he sees IMSC in my portfolio. I hope to have the last laugh with this one bearing out my stupor sleuthing abilities when it comes to story stocks. Have a good day if your long. Otherwise FU
I am in the same boat. 6500@ .42
The rest of it; wash, rinse, repeat
I would float a couple of reasons out there.
1) zero market visibility- I don't know about anybody else but I stumbled across this one and took a position.
2) debt is onerous dinosaur that sits visibly in view of any new investors. Yes the 8k says this and that- truth is it is only on this board that the BO Sale of the company is parsed out of the filing.
3) for me it is once bitten twice shy. Too the Max. The managers of the company are dildos on our end of the spectrum. I wonder why they showed GB the door. I am left wondering who is doing what or even if anybody is working at headquarters on anything. If they are working at headquarters who is working at the lab and on what are they spending time on? So interest is limited until something iron is released that says otherwise. Piss poor CEO that is for certain.
I am unsure this has been a lame one for so many of us. Six some years and in the red. It would appear that whoever has been selling has stopped doing so. SP begins to appreciate. Story is certainly here. Revenues went positive with another several qtrs of equal grosses.. As far as an investment total bomb. Anybody could get in now an actually profit. Sell it? we have weathered the management changeg replaced by Dr McGann, do you remember Mr Bolduc was at an IMSC promotional event working so hard that he was sweating ($1.80 was what you and I saw for his sweat equity) many were peed off at him working so hard and had harsh words for him. I liked him he believed in the company the product and a fantastic future-the guy was visionated- Glenn could have been one of the sellers he left with 5 million shares. Mr Bolduc made an effort to communicate with the world about IMSC.
To say that Dr Mcgan is different to a point of polar opposites. No swear equity downward pressure on the share price and no nothing. DM from my less than privileged view feels that the company should work and the SP will reach an equilibrium. Currently for me this one rates as the equivalent of an negative interest loan. Company says no nothing.in the no conversation from hqtrs we are something of a think tank here. B9 was the early champion- lot of logical posts. Zeynoc, seriously sarcastic numbers guy. Shilo, vintage, the Cuban guy that was so outraged that he would have to get a new alias every week. Lot of new posters, buff and toy story. So sale or no? Like the entire ride here I am powerless to do much other than sell it for some reason I don't think I will be doing that. I bought it I still hold my original position. Without the manipulation I had us at $6+ then again we all have our own investing schemes right?Apple where are you? Thank all of you this is a good board with some sharp posters. Ted I know I have left people out sorry for any omissions
I wonder what happened with the 2 million dollar grant that TSA gave IMSC a couple of years back? I don't know how that is recorded or carried on the books. If I recall TSA wanted to work along side of IMSC developing the next gen ETD. For those blathering about the company Bking probably a waste of correspondence though lacking anything of merit from the leadership of the herd- well the mice have some great imaginations.
Also you can tell when the main horse Xhitters have sold (post contrary) and bought (positive posting)currently @.27 they buy and we are all good buddies. @.33 the entire show is suspect. Wash, rinse, repeat.
Get a new CEO that has experience as the head of a public ally owned entity.
Here is a fact: July 2014 IMSC $1.80. March2016 IMSC (now with an approved product) .29-.30 piss poor performance is to understate how poorly the company is performing. POS that is and has been in my portfolio for five years. They sent Glen packing since that time we have done nothing but hemorrhage our share price until this has become a cautionary tale about buying OTC issues.
I have to agree with you about its to early to tell. Unless your a piece of dung from a plains cow and postulate every scenario possible the possibilities are really quite open- IMHO anything is possible. Posting on the board is totally pps driven. Our collective knowledge adds up to a not much concrete or actionable Intel. I have given up on attempting to make sense out of this one- today it is obvious that debt is a major hurdle to sp appreciation. It is conversely true that tomorrow the sp could easily double. After the refugees bombed the marathon we popped from 80 up to 1.18. The potential is here for a story. Managements silence is deafening. For some reason the lack of information gives me confidence that the metrics most are using are woefully short of the larger picture. That is just me, detection of drugs, bio, chemicals nuke. We have these in place at every commercial airport on the globe- central collection point and we have a portal into where what is coming from. I believe that is what Dr M was referring to in the last CC. I am here to make a profit on my capital investment. Pi$$?$ me that a newbie can buyin lower that my six years on the doldrums here. I remain positive overall- the sniffer opens the door what is next up? New Game changer detection that is what my thoughts tend towards. GLTAL
Wow. The float increases that makes the five percent threshold a non item as far as selling shares goes. I have been wondering wtf is going on? Dm is not the only entity that has millions of shares for sale. GB got sent home with 5million shares he is no doubt not that interested in the SP as relates to investors. I am sure there are others. Pretty negative sentiment of late- must be some good news about to pop it back up. At the moment this is a toilet dweller. Personally I will never buy another puke cheat issue- vomit OTC nausea play one out of there dough. I don't know squat other than we have the mouse trap. The best mouse trap in the sector. Problem is somebody else got to the bank first and they are currently making a run on the bank. I will sit it out with my position that is looking like a breached dam that is puking it out. High and dry. Well at least management gave themselves some dandy bonuses. It's just money as the Alfred E Newman said. "What me worry?"
Wow. Terrorists are all about promoting fear. I would postulate that at the moment they are "in control" personally in have been toying with the idea of an AR in the trunk of the car. Last year I had it in the car for the Ferguson events. Took it out as that has seemed to cool off. Now we have some guys threatening and I believe they have been successful. Is ill got two planes diverted today. How much does it cost the airlines for those types of events. I think the handheld in Times Squre is a fairly viable attempt at deterring these lame a$$ wholes. I am unsure what the solution is so we make Times Square safe. That does not cover the dojo down the street.
These fellows have an idea- ideas and ideals can be changed. Maybe it's is not the U.S. army per se but the moderate folks with the same ideas. Get the moderates to change the radicals ideas. Who knows? Problems by definition have a solution. Part of the solution is the handheld and the B220 sniffer at least in the near term. Over all the serpent much be killed. I look forward to that event happening.
The can -from what I have read was in the mail compartment of the plane. That takes us way back to cargo screening umpteen years ago. It is very interesting following developments. Isill is well financed I wonder by whom? Unfortunately Isill is not the only threat these days just an outsized one currently. The cargo screening could very well be the next item of interest for us. It's like maybe déjà u all over agin!
I have been wrestling with that one myself. Is it possible we see the DOW hit 30k? 40k? Just keep on shoveling the manure and it might make it. I wonder about IMSC and the good old boys in the back room (smiths, morphology etc) greasing the palms of officials that should be implementing the B220 a flipping year ago. Not having any in TSAs possession at the site of entry is moronic.
B9 do you think the 220 would have sounded the alarm on the soda can?
BlackE, I am curious as to what the solution is? Just curious I agree that I.MSC is well placed to play a roll in erasing dastardly fiends.
I know I felt it impolite to reveal you buyin point. I am certainly wishing and hoping we can get you back in the money. There are the scenarios discussed on the board concerning some type of restructuring of that debt. What that looks like to us outside armchair Qtr backs and the reality faced by management I am sure are quite different conversations. Different impetus for the protagonists. I really don't blame DM for recouping their capital and attempting to stay under the 5% ownership reporting requirements. I still think that the lab is going to blow everybody out of the water with their R&D. Meanwhile seems an intelligent dialog continues here as we wait.
Personally I am semi tech illiterate- the handheld swab. Seems like a step backwards? I was thinking along the lines of a handheld that is deployed Out in the crush of the crowd when an alarm is sounded you direct the suspected individual toward the B220 for a closer sniff as the saying might go.
Toy story dude, how about we just enforce the current laws that are already on the books? Like if you have no status then it is over to the airport and home you go. I think that IMSC as an investment that can go either way. Lot of information with regards to the company, finances, technology that we are (I make an assumption here) not in the know/priv too.. I personally have confidence in the management team of the IMSC. Not so much in the USA leadership thus my comment,"begin to enforce current law.
So much is being made over Platinums shares and supposed dumping. Without Platinums backing we are not even having a discussion. Whoever is unhappy about it- you bought it and the deal was in when you bought in.i made the point that those that are managing the company are hitters..... They are doing what they feel needs to be done." At the time it was stated I was thinking it somewhat highbrow in retrospect they have stayed their course. Paraphrase; if the share price was a dollar shareholders would want two dollars. For some reason I am comfortable with managements silence- I would rather they focus on the way forward instead of attempting to make cake out of a crappy sandwich. Just saying; this is a long term play, today's investor wants to trade in and out of equities, hats dip in and extract money from the base. The gooners in the ME say they will be sending more surprise packages soon. The future is unwritten but a company that makes a product that has demonstrated viable detection of surprise packages is likely well placed to benefit on that piece of information.
Shorting is nominal here this is an OTC issue shorting is done through a broker (someone posted a link think it was Schwab not surre) no options market. We all know we are on top of it- six flipping years for myself. Many of you longer. Up down not a bunch of all around. 15m Q is not to be sneezed at. The B220 as approved by TSA has already received an upgrade. I would imagine that the company has some other add one that make for a more effective sniffer. Some one commented that those that bought units would be disappointed that they bought out of date tech. I am sure that the B220 is constantly being upgraded fact of life- the solution? It is called several different things, job add on, extra to contract etc. IMSC is on the cusp of bouncing out into the investing publics view. At $1 or $2 I know not when only that when she is discovered the move will.likeky be strong to the upside. I bought it and have traded zero shares- dumb in retrospect though I am still in a profitable position. Go team keep up the exceptional development that is the only way I see my investment becoming meaningful. Be interesting to read comments after CC.
I think that there are plenty of companies that have substantial debt that have acceptable Share prices. The problem with our pony here is that the debt structure is unsustainable. Many of the drivers of IMSC are just now coming into play. Perhaps the single most damaging thing to happen was the bogus protest by our competitor. The protest was dismissed in what amounted to an almost prejudiced dismissal. The share price went down and has never really healed up and become a healthy vibrant disruptive tech stock that this is. As I said a couple of days ago. There is new stuff in the tube. TSA granted IMSC a 2 million dollar grant to develop a better mouse trap. The leadership of the company says that R&D is where they are focusing their efforts.
Someone posted a link about the NYCPD and a competitors handheld- the competitors handhelds don't work at last check. Should IMSC manage to get their handheld to market I can imagine a long order list that will provide for a steadily increasing book of orders. Where we find ourselves today is sad the debt we have is indeed a problem- much was caused by having to coast for siix months while the protest was resolved. I think (that is all we can do with zero guidance from management) that we will continue to get positive information going forward. Today's CC Nowak is probably right go over the numbers answer a few qs and wait for the next pr. I am long bouncing in and out of the green recently. Another terrorist blast on a plane full of innocent people will have our little backwoods darling scrambling to keep up with demand. There is a large upside to this company the downside is .68 personally I have it valued in the low $2s. I would like to see it move up just takes the right events taking place, GLTAL
True that. We have been basing for quite some time now. Maybe a perfect storm just thinking out loud. Gets to be a bit much when the convo goes to the thousandths. I am in still ahold of my original stake. Look for it to rise debt or no debt.
Happy Birthday too any of you that served USMC
Nowadays. Your being defensive. To think for even a short minute you would most certainly admit to the companies innovative outlook? Right? What is coming out is IMO is an advanced B220. All technology is moving at high speed. Whatever would you base the thought that the walk through is years away? OK let me just say nothing would surprise me. I am expecting something that will make me very happy. How about you? Another sleeper cc. It is possible seems to be a semi acceptable thinking here lately thus my absence. I think we got some heavy hitters working for us. When a hitter does their thing it is an item of beauty. Maybe it's just my imagination run in away with me But...."
Guiguich, I have had that thought several times over the past couple of months. IMSC got the IDIQ how flipping long ago? TSA is in the lab with Mcgann and the rest of the crew. The B220 is likely already a piece of ancient history. I do not know that but it would not surprise me in the least if TSA does not take delivery of any of the current lineup B220 w swabbing (stupid, even more yesterday) would not surprise me if Thursday they drop a bomb about the companies next gen ETD product the B220 XL. Not saying it is so just a fat old muse to think about. The company is spending big bucks on R&D there is something here that is much deeper than is in the current discussion. A walk through portal? I have no idea but my guess is the B220 is an antique why would TSA buy them knowing what is on the bench at IMSC R&D. IMHO
Vintage, I think that it is looking like we might be adding Egypt and Russia to our list of potential buyer candidates. Looking for a big boom here in our Shareprice direction. Gltatl
Twiddle Dee and Twiddle Dum? This is trending like it did five plus years ago (I am surprised!) .45-72 range. At that time we were all thinking TSA mandated cargo screening would push the SP higher. We got approval a spike and then the bust. The down ward trajectory has continued to our drudgy current status. There are forces attempting to bury IMSC- I suspect. Why? kabillions of dollars in future revenue. Management I believe thinks that somehow free market appreciation/depreciation will ultimately become the driver of the SP. that is my all be it small opinion. Refinancing, expectations that are unmet have me feeling less than rosey about the capital I have invested in iMSC equities. Then refinancing, the Handheld, global need have me staying with this as IMSC continues to be the best ETD existing on the globe today With that said, it is probably a fair time to purchase another chunk and see if I can catch an explosion as catalysts work in shareholders favor. Been pretty depressing owning this that is a factoid on this point I am sure everybody might agree. The rest of it is and apparently will be complete speculation. GLTAL
