BARRIE, ON, Jul 15, 2008 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Winning Brands Corporation
(PINKSHEETS: WNBD) (FRANKFURT: WMU) (www.WinningBrands.ca) reports that its
CLEAN1(TM) Outdoor Cleaner which was recently listed and delivered to New York's
Hackett's stores will be the target of Winning Brands' first ever U.S. radio
commercials.
Q Country 102.9 based in Ogdensburg, New York broadcasts over most of the area
in which the Hackett's stores are located. Choosing a country music format for
the CLEAN1(TM) launch is a deliberate choice by Winning Brands to reach out
beyond stereotypes about who might be interested in eco-responsible products.
"Making smart choices is not just a trendy urban phenomenon," says Winning
Brands' CEO Eric Lehner. "Eco is the new normal, and Winning Brands'
eco-responsible cleaning choices are the new mainstream," he adds. "If
CLEAN1(TM) Outdoor Cleaner and its companion eco products KIND(TM) Laundry and
Winning Colours(R) Stain Remover can do well in the small towns and countryside
of America, then there is no corner left in on the continent where we can't be
successful." The Hackett's chain was sufficiently impressed with the benefit to
its customers of having a full range of eco-responsible cleaners to mobilize all
its stores in June 2008 by listing all three Winning Brands products. The
CLEAN1(TM) radio commercials will begin July 17th and represent the first of the
advertising programs that were presaged in the June 2008 Hackett's announcement
about listing Winning Brands.
CLEAN1(TM) advertising is also breaking new ground by being targeted to men more
than conventional cleaners are. Bikes, boats, BBQ's, siding and swimming pools
are only a few of the big important outdoor cleaning jobs that men do without
realizing that they are usually using products that are designed for indoors and
kept under the kitchen sink. CLEAN1(TM) is recognizing the reality that men are
often the ones doing these jobs and is filling the current gap in messages
directed toward men that are relevant to their lifestyles -- and the women who
share those interests. Winning Brands CEO Eric Lehner has become known for
setting policies in the company's dealings with advertising agencies and media
partners that no commercials will be condescending or demeaning of men. "I don't
recognize the type of men that appear today on North American television and in
movies," says Lehner. "The men out there in reality are much better than the
depictions. Winning Brands will choose positive options when considering the
depiction of any people -- and that includes men." The CLEAN1(TM) radio ad
format can be heard at: http://wnbd.wikidot.com/media-gallery.
CLEAN1(TM) Outdoor Cleaner is manufactured by Winning Brands Corporation for
consumer and commercial use as an eco-responsible alternative to cleaning the
many things that get dirty outdoors. Main production takes place at the Grand
Rapids, Michigan facility of Surefil LLC with certain sizes still being
manufactured at Winning Brands' St. Catharines, Ontario facility. Winning
Brands' full product range includes a variety of advanced cleaning solutions,
such as its non-toxic SMART(TM) Wet Cleaning liquid alternative to
Perchloroethylene used in Dry Cleaning, KIND(TM) Laundry Products and Winning
Colours(R) Stain Remover -- a skin friendly alternative to conventional stain
removers and solvents. The company's mission is to replace hazardous chemicals
in widespread use with safer alternatives. The initial focus is on cleaning
products.

Amazon China has the 1000+ (winning colors) listed. It has been there for a month that I know of.
Thats true.....
I'm gonna guess they would have some sort of "flier" that goes out to buisiness'. If its on their shelves they are gonna push it. I'm sure they have sellspeople that go out to these places and have specials on products. And If they have walk in customers, I would guess there is a cart like in Canada HD's.
I have giving out some of mine and told people where they can get it. Word of mouth can sell product. You would be surprised.
Just for comparison. I like the outlook of yours better. 20% starting saturday night through Wed. This time of year they pop up so fast! Then there is hurricane season.......

Very nice!! Thank you
Can't win them all.
Yip! I betting they are just waiting on some small technicalities.
Last week someone had called the IR. That person(IR) stated the drill was about 1 mile from its location. If its anything like the drills I was around, they will have it in place. Even if they had to get a D9 Cat to pull it in. I don't want to sound like a "know it all", but mud won't stop these guys, a lake would. Every day that drill is operating, its costing someone, and that don't fly well with companies that are flipping the cash out to pay for it.
Yeah, But its a lonely place out there. LOL
Its going to take alittle time for this to catch on. We are the "new kid" on the block. Marketing is just starting to hit the streets. I due time the public word will spread and sells will pick up. Then it will spread like a wild fire across the nation and beyond. I imagine a map in WB's HQ with pins on it and all the locations. In 6 months time, I bet it looks like a CDC map of a disease spreading! LOL
When I worked construction. I worked with drillers ,not oil types but caisson(sp) and such. Only thing that would stop them was lightning. Standing water would only slow them down. But these guys where some tough S.O.B's let me tell you! When they had a job to do they got it done. I gonna say these guys drilling our wells aren't any different. I don't expect they are sitting in thier trucks or at the local topless bar getting drunk when its raining.
Save this for later or watch now...its 25 minutes long.
Same here. Bummer for the delay, but used it to my/our advantage.
PPS is holding strong and climbing. Something is in the air. :)
I think this is the general area they are in. Looks good.
