Thanks Sidney...great looking bottle.
Many here would like to think so as well (myself included). Closing at 0.03 was somewhat of a psychological victory for us longs considering we fell lower earlier in the day. Def some buying pressure toward the end...should be interesting next week.
Pinksheets is accurate as far as I know. Are you insinuating there is major dilution and that's why the pps has fallen? Because that is not the case here.
If I recall correctly, you are the only one asking. And for the record, that is not dd.
Right now China's middle-class is roughly equal to the total population here in the US. That means there are more than enough consumers in China that can "afford" to pay for spring water, and that's just the middle-class.
Chinese middle class covers 19% by 2003(29/03/04)
China's middle class covered 19 percent of the total population by 2003, up 1 percentage points every year since 1999, according to a report released by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS).
According to CASS's standard, families with assets valued from 150,000 to 300,000 yuan (18,072 to 36,144 US dollars) can be classified as middle class.
About 49 percent of households in the urban areas meet the middle class standard, but considering the large amount of families with lower incomes in the rural areas, the report reached the result that the middle class covers 19 percent of the total population.
Thanks to favorable policies, the number of China's middle class has increased rapidly and will be accelerated in the future, the report shows.
Based on the figures of 15 percent in 1999 and 19 percent in 2003, the percentage of middle class people in China is expected to reach 40 percent in 2020 under current economic growth condition.

Asking questions like that just leads to trouble. Do your own dd if you are that concerned.
That is misleading to say the least. Aquagold will be targeting middle to upper-class workers with their premium spring water. Those 2 classes are growing very rapidly throughout much of China. This was briefly discussed during the meeting, along with a reference to Rolls Royce's growing sales in China.
I said reputable IR firms. I took the liberty of contacting one today via email and asked this very question and surprisingly received this response:
"Whenever possible we take every measure to accurately verify all contracts and documentation prior to releasing pertinent information to the general public. In many circumstances we ask the company to present the documents/contracts to us directly before moving forward with any sort of release."
My point was that everyone needs to take responsibility for his or her own actions.
Not trying to argue here...time to move on.
Contact any reputable IR firm and ask if they verify info before they deliver it to the public.
Could not agree more...see my last post.
Unfortunately I agree...these sort of posts have lost credibility and are completely unnecessary. Mistakes are OK to make as long as you learn from them (hint hint).
Yes, not a good example of underpromise and overdeliver if you ask me, but I do think we will see those numbers at some point in the near future. His intentions were good, just very unprofessional.
There was an insinuation about the Olympics, but nothing concrete has come forward. It's best to forget about all of the hype and bs for now and focus on the facts. This is a new company now trying to make a fresh start.
I think Steve wrote something to that effect in a private email and it was posted here on the board. Correct me if I'm wrong (anyone).
Sidney made a comment earlier that he was just the messenger, and that be the case here; however, Steve should have verified all of the info before putting his reputation on the line. Regardless, in order for AQUI to have a clean slate and move forward, they will need to hire a new IR firm. The damage has been done and we need to move away from all things ONMC as soon as possible.
Yes, Lianhua will be stocking their shelves with Aquagold water, that is the bottom line. There is just no direct contract between the 2 companies. Just trying to clear this up for the board once and for all.
To be honest doog, I feel more confident in the long term growth of this company today than I ever have. Clean slate is what we need here.
LIANHUA Supermarket Holdings Co., Ltd. (www.lhok.com.cn), has been introduced into AQUAGOLD's products network of sales.
AQUAGOLD International, Inc. proudly announces revenue details pertaining to its first announced consolidated sales contract. Following the announcement of partnership with WOLONG HOLDINGS, which now acts as distributor for AQUAGOLD's premium spring water products in China, AQUAGOLD today reveals details of its 8-year sales agreement. AQUAGOLD has proceeded with an initial consolidation of orders stemming from end users at the retail level.
All this means is that Woolong will be distributing to Lianhua's network of stores. You are correct...there is no deal with Lianhua directly, everything goes through Woolong and they distribute to retail stores accordingly (including Lianhua). As AQUI grows, expect to see many more retail relationships formed in the near future. Just remember though, the relationships will be formed through Woolong.
My impressions after listening to the meeting:
-I am still confident in the company and their overall plan for the future and very happy to hear about the new bottle and logo.
However, not so happy with their responses to questions pertaining to the numerous PRs that were promised immediately after ticker symbol change and the "emergency" Olympics meeting. Seems to me that the former CEO and Steven Weiss were making promises that the company simply couldn't keep. I don't mean to flip on Weiss here, but I'm starting to believe (for the first time) that he did us more harm than good over the past several weeks.
Regardless, none of this will matter in the long run if AQUI continues on the right path...no more "Power to Shock" Newsletters and meat and potatoes PRs only. In due time, I believe the company will gain more trust amongst shareholders and many of the fence-sitters will join us to reap the rewards.
Thanks to all who attended and asked questions, especially Anvil and Sidney. Still holding long and strong:)
Works for me...I am listening as I type.
Take care.
Should never assume anything.
Another brilliant post.
It's not even 3PM yet.
Absurd to say the least...all of the speculation lately.
Why would I sell my shares that I've been holding for 6 months for a loss now? I'm on your side, just always perplexed about these sort of posts.
I won't hold that against you:)
Nice analogy. I agree...never been too keen on large gaps myself...always seem to get filled at the wrong times. Positive/legitimate news will move the pps north in due time.
I certainly hope you are right, but I'm not getting my hopes up too much...still long here and (as always) cautiously optimistic. Looking forward to the updates and the taped version of the meeting later this evening. GLTE:)
Consolidation here is good...steady as she goes.
That was a beast of a post...thanks for the update.
This board is so quiet w/out doog here (eom).
I hope so as well...if I were able to go, I certainly would, but not at all possible.
We should (collectively) consider nominating 1 or 2 ihub members who will be attending to take a list of the most important questions/concerns we have here in order to ensure everything is covered in the meeting. If this is already being done, please let me know.
Regardless if it is video or text, it will help those of us who will not be attending. Also, it will add even more creditability to the company and hopefully instill some more confidence in the shareholders and fence sitters. Thanks for the update:)
Any reason for this, or just being optimistic?
Siggy is removed...didn't realize it would be inappropriate. I don't have a 9 to 5, so didn't take that into consideration:)
I for one would really appreciate a web cam/taped meeting since I will not be attending regardless of the date(s). Thanks for passing that on.
"There is significant room for growth in bottled water consumption in China. On a per-capita basis, the Chinese population consumed only 7 L of bottled water in 2003. Comparatively, each Italian consumed 203 L of bottled water while those in the United States consumed 82 L; the typical Canadian consumed 46 L of bottled water in 2003. Sales of bottled water are expected to increase by 90% between 2003 and 2008, due to the combined impact of lower prices and concerns over polluted water."
Very good read BHS...thanks
Approaching HOD on very little volume. Very slow day...low volume across the board.
