If you have not had an opportunity to go to the Esperion website and listen to the CEO's presentation last month, you really need to do yourself a favor and take 25 minutes and listen and follow along with the slides. Go to the Investors button in the upper right hand corner of their website and go down to the 2nd option: Events and Presentations. Very informative and super exciting. More people die from Cardiovascular disease than anything else in the world and especially the US. This drug is the ONLY one of it's kind that reduces LDL bad colesterol without Statin. Nothing else like it is in development. 25 Billion dollar market and this drug will dominiate it. I can imagine in 5 years seeing a 500% return on investment as a very real possibility.
full disclose: I do own shares.
It's immoral how this company has fleeced shareholders. AND continues to string them along with false hope of forward looking statement after forward looking statement.
STAY AWAY FROM PENNY STOCKS. The Penny stock world is a seedy world of unscrupulous promoters and money printing scams.
Spot on MG. So glad I sold and moved on. I take a look back every 6 months or so for a sober and painful reminder that a fool and his money are soon parted.
Glad I held on my AAPL Calls. Happy thanks giving everyone. I'm thankful for your many insightful posts.
Roy has asked that we keep politics off the board and I concur.

Question. When analyzing TA on a particular stock and looking at news, fundamentals, etc, how much "stock" do you put into the max pain theory for options?
Nice entries Beer.

Smart, any thoughts on TSLA this week?
Thanks for Sharing Roy. I've learned a great deal lurking and reading from you, Beer, and Smartone. Sometimes I'll print something out one of you guys post and put it in a folder to read later to remind myself of something of value I've learned. I initially found IHUB about 7 years ago and started trading god forsaken penny stocks. Lost a great deal of money but God has restored "the years the locust ate" to a large degree. I'm embarrassed to admit how much I've lost but it was substantial. So I took a long break and focused on my job which is going well. From time to time I've jumped on IHUB and read this board, but I took a long break from trading. About a month ago I deposited $2500 in a TD Ameritrade account and started trading again. I'm always amazed how you guys do so well. I don't currently have the time to put all the necessary hard work it takes into mastering technical analysis but I'm slowly learning. I think Stockcharts.com is a great place to learn with very good videos and they post almost daily a market analysis which often includes a video. One of the things you guys have taught me is to not hold a position so long. No shame in exiting a bad position and nothing wrong with profit, even if you leave some on the table. It's a huge advantage when you take the emotions out of trading and learn to be more disciplined. I have a LOOONG ways to go, but I feel I'm on the right track learning from the 3 of you. Have a great weekend!
Very helpful. thank you
GM Beer. I got lucky getting some lotto SPY 201 calls a couple days ago. Looking good today
Had the same problem with Ameritrade today.
Here's a post from another message board:
LET'S REVIEW THE TRADING DAY...shall we.
1. PRE-MARKET..futures slight red and holding onto gdp data, but see a weak link because it might not be real when you strip out military spending.
2. Slight Bump from pumpers explaining how Q-E was really not even required proof of gdp #'s
3. Seems like the Bots take control mid morning at 1/4 to 1/2% up...Bots seem happy to hold it and order, flow though slow and vol. low seem normal considering the pressure to find anything worth buying at these prices.
4. Sudden disappearance of Ask prices only Bids filed on top of each other, causing a pile up and stacking the price higher by compounding of order execution.
5. No news about the order processing and market accelerates to 1% up..still no news at all..nothing,but noted on this board by the curious and the observant.
6. News trickles out, there is a problem, but no one knows why.
7. By lunch time the entire order system is being operated through the emergency back up clearing center at the office in Chicago. problem identified in Wahwah...orders seem normal, but some traders lose ask price and have only bid price info. further accelerating the price action of stocks to the up side.
8. CNBC checking with Bob P. to calm the nerves of traders on the floor, and explains the situation as "normal trading pattern", however seems slightly irritated that no one believes him.
9. Market trading begins to show sell order seepage and weighs on the bid prices...but orders appear to place.
10. Bots take out high end target and retrace to support the gap, trades fill normally now.
11. Market pressure seem subdued and price action normal at close.
I'm on the phone with Ameritrade and they've confirmed that what I see on my screen is not the correct price for options.
Good Tuesday morning Roy, Beer, SmartOne. Thanks for posting your trades and sharing your insights. Great place for folks like me to lurk and learn.
Roy, Anyone on the TSLA board want to talk technicals?
Made 1 trade today Roy. All I have time for. Thanks again guys for all your help!
Filled Sell to Close 5 IWM Oct 18 2014 105.0 Call Limit 1.45 -- -- 10:07:25 10/15/14

Thanks for the update Roy. I rarely post and rarely trade as I'm focused on my business which does very well. I've always greatly appreciated your entries and exits on positions and from time to time the explanations and indicators you watch. Thanks for giving back and sharing with novices like myself. Wishing you, Smartone, Beer all the best. To your continued good health and getting better. Mike
This was trading at $1.90 on your last post. Hope you loaded the boat my friend.
doesn't get any better than that with a 10 Bil AS
Ok. Your initial post was "LOL" so not sure what you expected. I admitted I was wrong and you were right. You should feel vindicated but you shouldn't expect any apologies unless I personally attacked you which I don't think I did. TOU rules don't permit it anyway. It was my money I lost so I don't feel I owe you any apologies.
I hope you'll continue to be diligent to warn others who trade these POS Pinksheets. Hopefully others will have more sense than I did and maybe you'll keep a fool from departing from their hard earned money.
congratulations you were right and I lost a lot of money being wrong. feel better? Saw the light quite awhile ago. I don't push any penny stocks nor am I trading them.
DBMM has 10 Billion AS? If that isn't the definition of toxic I don't know what is.
Surely you're not suggesting this is a good company or well run company are you? How do you define a good company? How about a company that looks after the value of the shareholders? This stock is down about 99% over the past couple years. I'm no longer a share holder and don't plan to be. I remember when this stock was at 3, 4, 5 cents with only a couple hundred million shares prior to the previous reverse splits.
You don't need a brokers license to post an opinion on a message board about a Pinksheet company. Good luck with your trading strategy. You'll need it.
If the last RS was to provide for better financing I'd hate to see what their definition of Toxic financing is.
Get out now and consider yourself lucky IMHO.
Getting screwed by rampant and careless dilution is one thing. We can accept that on the OTC. We know the risks.
But getting screwed by libelous material just because someone bought your pathetic crap company and asked some questions about it? That is quite another. No, we refuse to get screwed that way, sir.
So you're saying there is a form of rape this is acceptable???
The OTC is unregulated devils game fraught with deception, corruption and massive dilution. Yeah I know, get in and get out and don't fall in love. That's a sure recipe for success.
I don't mean to come off as preachy or bitter based on past experience trading OTC stocks.
Hope you and your family are doing well.
I wish everyone well and a Happy Easter!
Good summary Otterman. Your post stuck a chord with me. The company played the music with their endless string of forward looking statements and we danced until our pockets were nearly empty. I know some fine people that lost more than they could afford and it saddens me. I've thought about posting from time to time, but thought it would be better to just fade away. It was my own fools errand and I don't blame anyone but myself. I rarely check IHUB anymore but a friend shot me an email that peaked my curiousity. I'm not back and I don't trade penny stocks anymore.
There are no real fundamentals or legitimate technical analysis when trading penny stocks. Whenever the TA is gagged and there are a lot of shares outstanding, you stand virtually no chance making enough money to be worth the risk. When you are trading Penny stocks and companies put out forward looking statements that ultimately add no value or on the extremely rare occasion add little value in a desperate attempt to add legitimacy to the company filings, all while the company can print shares and sell discounted shares to people like me who have in the past purchased such discounted shares, then it's not a fair game. It will never be a fair game for 98+% of the people trading penny stocks. My advice to anyone holding shares in any penny stock, sell when there's volume and don't look back.
If you want to give your hard earned money away go find a single mom working 2 or 3 jobs to support her children, or find a college student going to school full time and still working 2 or 3 jobs living off rice and beans. You'll feel alot better about yourself.
I believe you also said the contract wasn't going to happen and it did. You said you had take a "poll" and it wasn't going to happen and it did. Just facts. Nothing personal.
Why would I be jealous and what would I be jealous of? The consensus of everyone was that it was going to be close but you were posting that we didn't know the union very well and that UPS voted theirs down with no concessions, etc. Whatever. I'm not the one gloating. You were the one taking credit and gloating when you were more wrong that right. I'm sure you know a lot about ABFS. I happen to know someone who knows the company like the back of his hand and he was confident they'd get the deal done. Best of luck on your future investments, short or long.
