Whatever, just keep pounding away.
Thanks, I wasted a lot of time online this weekend on that very question, when I could have picked up the phone. Thanks.
shipbuilder, thanks for the detailed response, I appreciate it. Hopefully we'll see the article any day now. JDLAXXE,
Yes the intro is very extensive. But you'll notice that it is a fantastic resource for information and research, a great service by CJGADDY that has saved many here hundreds of hours of research. As you indicated the hide feature works well. The well organized compilation in the intro provides a nice mechanism for those searching for information, without having to wade through endless message board posts for concrete information. On the topic of endless message board posts, no need to respond to my post. Best of luck.
The SITC meeting in November could end up being a PPHM reunion. Anyone remember Susan Knox from early Cotara days? She is leading a session http://www.eventscribe.com/2014/sitc/assets/Schedule%20from%20am14-Final-v10.pdf

Abstract
Ebola virus is from the Filoviridae family of viruses and is one of the most virulent pathogens known with ~60% clinical fatality. The Ebola virus negative sense RNA genome encodes seven proteins including viral matrix protein 40 (VP40), which is the most abundant protein found in the virions. Within infected cells VP40 localizes at the inner leaflet of the plasma membrane (PM), binds lipids, and regulates formation of new virus particles. Expression of VP40 in mammalian cells is sufficient to form virus like particles (VLPs) that are nearly indistinguishable from the authentic virions. However, how VP40 interacts with the PM and forms VLPs is for the most part unknown. To investigate VP40 lipid specificity in a model of viral egress we employed giant unilamellar vesicles (GUVs) with different lipid compositions. The results demonstrate VP40 selectively induces vesiculation from membranes containing phosphatidylserine (PS) at concentrations of PS that are representative of the PM inner leaflet content. The formation of intraluminal vesicles was not significantly detected in the presence of other important PM lipids including cholesterol and polyvalent phosphoinositides, further demonstrating PS selectivity. Taken together, these studies suggest that PM phosphatidylserine may be an important component of Ebola virus budding and that VP40 may be able to mediate PM scission.

Price goes both ways ...
It helps that I'm working 80 hours a week to make up for sept 2012 in that I don't have time to fuss over the day-to-day price much. Don't we all know there are forces beyond our senses that move a stock? hedgey games, BP games, robot trading, robot trading on TA, day trader groups, captured writers, Lee Harvey Oswald, cup manufacturers, the list goes on ... Just as PPS goes down now without solid rationale, we can go up similarly with no obvious reason like March 2014. But we do know why we went up pre sept 2012 - promising trial results.
Today we got bashed by a 200k trade. Don't think it was retail, though some of us here have that much and could have caved in. 200k to me means hedgey. I took a look at the price activity of biotechs before monster moves up, and usually they get slammed down before a big move up. I don't doubt for a second that leaky insiders have buddies, buddies with a little heads up and security that nothing big is going to happen with PPHM within certain time frames, and within that safety buffer, they can play their games without worrying about overnight announcements.
Let keep an eye on the big picture - cash position, trial progress, etc. Because that is all we can see (kinda). And know that there is a crapload of stuff going on we can't see. And BTW, just because we can see something doesn't mean it's significant. With end stage lung cancer, am I really going to be looking through the yellow pages or giving 800-SUNRISE a call? I think my primary doc, and my second opinion doc pull all the strings on treatment. Ever ask a cancer victim what chemo they are on exactly? Most I've asked have no idea. But their doctor knows.

dia76ca,
I suspect too that enrollment is heavily influenced by doctors. The study below doesn't refute that directly, but does indicate folks do a lot of clicking to find info on trials.

gJh,
The Spartan few qualified posters here, qualified in the use of multiple commas, and appositive phraseology, may have intuited that your statement "At the current dilute pace we will be back to 240MM shares and $.43 price" may have had some illuminating logic behind it. Rather, as opposed to unrather, you were simply stating the price point and outstanding shares as of the last reverse split.
Wouldn't expect many to know that...

Troll (Internet)
In Internet slang, a troll (/'tro?l/, /'tr?l/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people,[1] by posting inflammatory,[2] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[3] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.[4]
This sense of the word troll and its associated verb trolling are associated with Internet discourse, but have been used more widely. Media attention in recent years has equated trolling with online harassment. For example, mass media has used troll to describe "a person who defaces Internet tribute sites with the aim of causing grief to families."[5][6]
Application of the term troll is subjective. Some readers may characterize a post as trolling, while others may regard the same post as a legitimate contribution to the discussion, even if controversial. Like any pejorative term, it can be used as an ad hominem attack, suggesting a negative motivation.
As noted in an OS News article titled "Why People Troll and How to Stop Them" (January 25, 2012), "The traditional definition of trolling includes intent. That is, trolls purposely disrupt forums. This definition is too narrow. Whether someone intends to disrupt a thread or not, the results are the same if they do."[7][8] Others have addressed the same issue, e.g., Claire Hardaker, in her Ph.D. thesis[8] "Trolling in asynchronous computer-mediated communication: From user discussions to academic definitions",[9] and Dr. Phil.[citation needed] Popular recognition of the existence (and prevalence) of non-deliberate, "accidental trolls", has been documented widely, in sources as diverse as the Urban Dictionary,[10] Nicole Sullivan's keynote speech at the 2012 Fluent Conference, titled "Don't Feed the Trolls"[11] Gizmodo,[12] online opinions on the subject written by Silicon Valley executives[13] and comics.[14]
Regardless of the circumstances, controversial posts may attract a particularly strong response from those unfamiliar with the robust dialogue found in some online, rather than physical, communities. Experienced participants in online forums know that the most effective way to discourage a troll is usually to ignore it, because responding tends to encourage trolls to continue disruptive posts – hence the often-seen warning: "Please do not feed the trolls".

Buy calls to hedge a short? Past July expiration that hedge would be gone? Maybe more experienced traders can provide color. I stick to losing Money with simple long positions on margin :)
Biopharm,
You better click on some ads or you'll put google out of business! :^).
The cancer research community isn't a big group, connections everywhere. Hard part is knowing what connections might be relevant -- I personally don't know. But can't hurt to throw it out there. I appreciate your sleuthing.

Also as revisit to the Avid buildup flurry earlier, there is a young man on LinkedIn with the following on his bio. I now figure he wont get into any more trouble than that other woman CP posted, especially if she hasn't taken it down.
IFU, I see that your query, having gone unanswered previously, has now been addressed with unsurpassed adequacy by the noble gentleman. I apologize that I was not able, able in the sense of knowledge, rather that unable in a physical capacity, to assist you in a sufficiently qualified manner. With great hesitation, I humbly point you to the following for information that may provide you further context, built upon the foundation of the previous exceedingly generous response to your query.
