You can not trade OTC securities during extended hour sessions. Once LK was delisted, that opportunity went away.
9:30-4:30 EST is your window. This will create open market gaps when news is released in the Eastern world relating to this stock. Monday will be interesting. Traders will be anxious at the opening bell if anything is released over our extended holiday weekend.
Odd finish to the day. Large spikes the last 30 minutes of trading on an otherwise steady day of consolidation.
Cheers. MM was kind enough to invite me over 6-11, prior to the run up. I simply didn’t see the direction of the RM and shelved the ticker. To my dismay, it’s up ten fold since. GL
Prospectus details. I’ll be listening intently to the Q&A. May enter a position at that time. I don’t like the spread and price action currently. That could change on a dime tho. Compelling possibilities.
How long will their cash last once operational timelines and real costs are appropriated? If money is needed, how will it be raised and at what valuation? Real and relevant concerns.
Great questions. I guess the Q&A will create the next move in the stock. Funding and timeline to a point of extraction of a disabled mine will be note worthy.
Problem is, they don’t have money to fund further trials and advanced compounds are nearing their patent end of life.
Yes it should.
I’m surprised they couldn’t have had this information ready for the Nasdaq appeal. Certainly maintaining the uplist and PR’ing a completed investigation with forward steps of compliance would have ripped LK sp.
This news doesn’t seem to be having as big of an effect on the OTC. Real numbers at some point will be interesting.
Thanks for the invite 6-11. I clearly I missed out. Great storyline. I’ll monitor the action here and maybe get my toes wet...
That is some 5 day chart. Talk about a perfect V.
Anyway, what’s concerning is the lack of volume given the recent news and run up. I get it, tight float and tightly held shares, but regardless, these high percentage moves should loosen the grip. What will be the next catalyst? Volume will create trading opportunities otherwise the gap spread and MM manipulation will be an issue.
5 Billion in gold and palladium locates. A burned out mind shaft, a CEO knows the mine well yet had to wait years for a reverse merger to get it out.
Where’s Indiana Jones when you need him.
Doesn’t matter how much gold and palladium are priced at if you can’t get it out.
Doubtful. Pumpers left. Volume dwindling
Ive had no trouble trading LKNCY on Ameritrade.
I have a sizable holding here, but that doesn’t mean I’m looking thru rose colored glasses. It will be bumpy. I’m simply hoping the infrastructure, business model, and sizable financial investments, bring this to the other side, and LK becomes a viable, growth driven, company that has far more value that it’s current m/c. GL
Why? Give reasons why they would do that. You need to see the big picture. Do you think they brought on EY to dissolve the business. No, they hired them to clean up their books and report real financials. Sure, MM’s can manipulate share price. But to say they are trying to trap investors at these levels, seems ludicrous. PR’s will drive large movements either direction.
Lol. He is chicken little for sure.
That was my thought too. If the audit reveals as expected financials and growth, minus the already revealed manipulated sales, this rips.
Cheers. Feelin better. Didn’t know what the initial OTC price reaction would be. Expected an early sell-off, but wasn’t sure when the buyers would reenter. Support came in quickly. I hope your prediction comes to fruition. GLTY.
My 10,000 low 1’s looking very very nice. Let’s run baby!!
Currently $300mill m/c that traded at a $15 billion m/c just four months ago. Yes, a lot has changed, but the core business model and growth potential remains. Again, all my opinion, but upside far outweighs downside risk.
There is tho. In light of a bankruptcy filing, LK, has received as much negative press as a company could receive. I suppose the audit could reveal further fraud. My view is that LK has willing come forward with a number as to the fraudulent sales, why would they low ball. They’ve incorporated actions, fired those responsible, and have hired a reputable firm to audit and clean up their books. I’ve doubled my core position here to create a better average. LK remains a high risk high reward play
There we go. Some buying support here. Step away from the cliff everyone. Those that got in under a buck will be very happy.
LK, welcome to the Wild West. Opening volume should be tremendous
Many big investment banks and institutions far more credible than motley fool got duped. Do you think Blackrock and GS didn’t thoroughly review their books and prospectus of growth prior to committing to a sizable stake in the offering. LK coffee is real but the CFO and others wanted to project growth at a much higher rate than practical to drive share price and fluff the brass. Idk. Seems impossible to believe this was a ghost shell coffee company. Then again, the dot com bubble was full of them, so I suppose emerging markets could very easily do the same. I find it hard to believe tho that executives from large institutional holding companies that participated in the LK IPO didn’t have soldiers in China to validate their coffee business. Seems incredulous and beyond foolish if true.
I’ll ask....
Did you think the Nasdaq delist was inevitable?
If so, nothing has changed other than the public/retail reaction to the news.
The allowance of institutional dumping of shares would have come with the delist regardless.
The decision to pull the appeal was a twist. E&Y either found more bookkeeping anomalies or they simple weren’t ready to comply. I’m not happy here but plenty of real companies trade on the OTC. GL
I had coffee at one of their shops when I was in China on business. I’ll see if I can find the photo and post it.
I’ll agree with the trail end of point one and point two.
LK, like many consumer based companies, is a consumer data gathering platform. Coffee is simply the bait used to gather. Massive growth opportunity if they play ball and follow the rules of a publicly traded company. Time will tell, but I highly doubt LK dissolves. Real debt but potential upside is far more valuable. Certainly to the Chinese knowing an American company is doing that very thing under their noses.
$81 Cash on hand ledger entry should be a good indicator.
They’ll bleed shares to pay brass emps until they can’t no more.
Rinse and repeat
Seems like a no brainer if at least most of the balance sheet is real.
Certainly the Chinese government doesn’t want a major competitor to an American icon brand to dissolve. I say they survive.
Been sitting on my hands on F as well. Gun loaded, but I’m going to be a tad more patient here. GL sir
Agreed. $700 mill m/c. Came public a year ago at ten times that. Unless they are cash starved, which they are not, real valuation will prevail once this shat gets behind us.
Yessir
I was hoping for a $WINS scenario, where listing status of noncompliance was stated as cured by their auditors. Ran from $5 to $50 in a blink. Oh well. That didn’t happen.
Hoping now for real audited financials in the relatively near future that reflect real growth and rev futures that mirror a much higher market cap. This will now be a patience trade.
Further, they have real assets and real value. They could be a buyout target as well. High risk high reward play.
It’s a real company. They didn’t hire earnest and young as a smoke screen. Sooner or later they’ll reveal audited financials and that will be telling. At this price, it’s all pretty much baked in. It’s a better play than Chucky Cheese or Hertz.
They just move to another exchange. OTC has much more liberal guidelines. If they get their shit together they can move back up. If not, LK will be a manipulated ticker on the OTC.
Pumpers disappeared. Gap spread to the downside. Welcome new bag holders.
Going to have to roll the dice on the OTC now. Damn the luck. Pun intended.
Well, it appears you were right. LK cliff diving. Pulled appeal. Delist eminent. Shares will be suspended 6/29 on the NAQ
