Kag, I had a computer problem and my message didn't print right. Essentially, please explain how the message that you deleted can be construed as a personal attack. I did not call him out of his name and said nothing defamatory. I suspect that you are using a different standard because you are assuming that I must be a poster that you previously had banned. If that is the case, you are abusing your position as this board's moderator, and should be reported.
To the poster defending GS: Lighthouse- I don't expect him to use (IMO) for the many opinions he states daily on this board. However, I am opposed to him stating his every opinion in a factual way, as if he has information straight from headquarters.
"Kindly use the acronym IMO every once and a while."
I did in fact request him to use that acronym "every once and a while", just so as not to mislead and start rumors,in contrast to how you comprehended the message, "littering the board with (IMO's)... ". So you can save your sarcasm. Reading(comprehension) is fundamental!!!
I have not engaged in any personal attacks this board. I jjust want to point out that Gold's penchant for stating his sspecultive opinions / conclusion, appear to be certain. This mmisleading becaus has tended as the answerssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
Kag,
I don't believe I've attacked another poster and if I have, please make a case against me, showing where that was the case.
It is not your job to determine whether posters using different alias's are the same poster that has been banned. I'm not attacking anybody, so what's your problem? You seem to be biased. I am contributing and learning from this board just like everybody else.
I have a feeling Terry has many different companies he represents. He is not well informed on many of the ?'s he is asked. Don't figure. The good news is he has a direct line to Dr. Wittenburg and Dr. Moro, so he can get the answers. Unfortunately, Abbott has most of the answers muffled by the licensing agreement. Patience will pay off. Just because we don't know exactly what's going on behind the scenes, doesn't mean that good things aren't happening, contrare!
Basically, Abbott has a lot of restrictions on what can be disclosed to the public. My guess is that it has to do with the competitive edge, perhaps because of the semi-exclusive nature of the licensing agreement. So I wouldn't expect to hear much in any major news outlets. Maybe with approval by the FDA and/or commercialization. I would put as much $ as I could into this baby @ these levels, because this is going to be huge!!! IMO, 1-2 years from now we will be trading well above $5 ps.
I talked with Terry today. My question was, "What is the scope of the Abbott deal re: cancer diagnostics? Is the deal limited to just prostate? He forwarded that "?" to Dr. Moro, and the answer is, Abbott may use the technology for diagnosis of cancer across the board and is not limited to just the prostate. That is good news!
"What does that statement have to do with common investor perception of OTC.BB corporations operating out of Vancouver?"
That statement has to do with the facts. My earlier comment about "credibilty" has to do with the OTC.BB perception overall. I am not a part of your conversation re: your Canadian,"pump and dump" scam theory, or any other conclusions that you have drawn! I noticed that you apply your own brand of deductive reasoning to the facts, fill in the blanks with assumptions, and then define and interpret your conclusions as fact for the board. Much of what you spew is your opinion! But the way you present it, you mislead by making people think you absolutely know what you are talking about. Like the proposed Siemens deal. That is your educated guess, but you speak as if it is a pending deal and that they are in discussions. They may be in talks with Siemens, or maybe not. You do not know. You don't disclose that you are just speculating and as a result starting rumors!
Rumor:a statement or report current without known authority for its truth.
There are some on this board that don't consider "you" as the authority. People can draw their own conclusions and opinions without you stating what is, or is not. Kindly use the acronym IMO every once and a while.
Thank you!!!
Regardless, technically and factually Biocurex is still a U.S. Company and as a result, have to pay U.S. taxes on revenue, despite where operations are physically located!
" ...the problem with the stock market is that your emotions will hurt you in the pocket book."
That's what I'm saying, don't get emotional and sell before you make your tremendous profits. Focus on the facts: It works, its been verified and there is a huge, big $ pharma backing the development and commercialization of the technology. Look at it as a 401K retirement fund that you can begin drawing on in just a few years and pay only 15% federal capital gains taxes on if you live in the states! :)
In my opinion, that would be foolish to sell just cause the stock doesn't move on great news! The great news would serve to eliminate a certain degree of risk as an investor. You would sell just because the investing public as a whole doesn't react as quickly as you think they should, knowing how effective the technology is, along with third party verification and possible future licensing agreements? Maybe you forgot that this stock is still trading on the OTC board. Many investors are skeptical, if for only that reason. It is a credibility issue, especially because the company is trading below a dollar. You obviously don't see the big picture, or this price as an opportunity. The funny thing is that it may not move much on the next significant press release, you sell, a few months later it's announced we will begin trading on the AMEX, then a formal announcement concerning FDA approval and commercialization. You, will most likely attempt a re-entry into the stock at a much higher price, or just fade away into some dark corner thinking about what could have been! Definitely something to think about.
Correction! Biocurex is not a Canadian company. It was incorporated in Texas.
"Compare this to the company when its share price was over $3.00. It is so much further ahead and worth more now than then."
Well you can't really compare "then" to "now" because the share increase back then was not the true value of the company, it was reflective of a misleading pr that got the company booted off the OTC exchange.
When the FDA does approve this technology we will see the true value of the company, reflective in the price. It will sky rocket above $5.00 ps rather quickly.
I don't, but I know Pocket.
I posed the ? if it were possible,he was affirmative in that where they are as far as preparing or submitting to the FDA is not public knowledge. So, one can't necessarily draw any conclusions by Abbott or Biocurex's silence on the subject.
I spoke to Terry today and asked him if Biocurex could speak about a feasibility milestone payment or if we had to wait to see it in the quarterly financial statement and he didn't know. He did say that Abbott had pretty tough restrictions on what they were able to say as per the licensing agreement. I asked whether Abbott had rights only to the recaf technology as it pertained to prostate, or if they were free to apply it to cancers across the board with the terms of the agreement remaining the same, and he didn't know for sure but forwarded that ? to Dr. Moro. He said he hadn't corresponded with him since he has been back from Prague.
He mentioned the pursuit of more "distribution" agreements, as opposed to saying licensing agreements. I found that interesting. I'm wondering if the use of the word "distribution" refers to the fact that Abbott/Biocurex already successfully changed the format to a chemiluscient format, signifying, and/or implying the technology is ready to be commercialized and "distributed" in its current form with no additional developments needed to make it compatible with most currently used analyzers, once the FDA gives the green light. He also stated that it is not a given that Abbott will make any announcement public when it submits to the FDA. For all we know they have already done it or are in the process.
Bid = .62 Ask = .85 2,000 shares traded @ 7:30 pacific time! Interesting...
In the U.S., if you have a stock holding for more than a year, you pay only 15% federal taxes on your investment no matter how much $ you make. Of course you would still have to pay the applicable state tax, which in California maxs out @ about 11.5%. I figure the most taxes I'll pay on profits would be around 27%. Is there no similiar deal out there in Canada?
YOU CAN BET ON IT!!!
Goldseeker, rememember the part in the "Erthang" interview where Dr. Moro said:
"... if you want to go to the FDA, and say I have a tumor finding system, the FDA is going to say prove it. They'll want all of the data and samples to run through there own independent system for all of the different kinds of cancers. And that becomes a very, very taxing task, because now they have to do 100 - 200 breasts, 100 - 200 lungs, etc ... . That would take too long. So there is a much easier way to do it. I just want the approval for prostate, and while we get that, we give them the evidence for lung and then I apply for an extension of the application now for lung, and so on and so forth. And so we'll be selling by the time they go for the second one and the third one. It's faster and less expensive, money wise. It will be the same amount of money, but at least we don't have to put it all together."
Allow me to quote you ...,
"Once the test is appproved & it's potential is known form other studies, it will immediately be used off lavel for other cancers & even possibly screening.".
The Recaf technology "will not" be "immediately" applied to other cancers, rather it's going to take some time. All in due time though, my friend.
"This presentation will, no doubt, trigger a positive response from the scientific community and demonstrate to our shareholders that we are steadily progressing toward the commercialization of the technology."
If the scientific community will "no doubt" be impressed with a "positive response", that means "write-ups" in scientific journals. That means more independent sources validating the technology because it's too good to be true! That means EXPOSURE people! That means people are going to invest in this company based on potential and forecasted revenues! Look at PLX and they don't even have a marketed product. This will no doubt be experienced by Biocurex once we get to the AMEX! I am now convinced the "why" behind Dr. Moro's decision to go to a hedge fund to acquire capital, was with good reason. The man knew what he had before he made that transaction! He is navigating this ship with clear vision to the harbor and knowledge of whats ahead and what to avoid to get us safely into port! We will be trading on the AMEX before or during FDA trials. With imaging and therapuetics being developed using Recaf based technology! Eventually, like I remember the great prophet "Erthang" was saying, this will be a $400 stock!
"... demonstrates the results obtained with the assay format used in several automated instruments including the Abbott Architect(tm). 68 breast, gastric and other types of cancers were compared to 52 normal patients and the AUC(1) scoring obtained was 0.954 (a perfect discrimination between cancer and normal samples has a score of 1.0). Similar results were independently obtained in our Licensee's facility for prostate cancer samples."
Do you guys realize what this means? It means that the assay works on "several automated instruments", not just the Architect. This opens the door for more licensing deals, and is very attractive because the format has already been converted the chemiluminescent assay format and would only have to wait on FDA approval. Time to market is very near for these prospective pharmas that may want to license this technology! I hope Wall Street gives this an appropriate response in the pps come tomorrow!
Only Three Thousand or so shares traded today? This is indeed the quiet before the storm! BEA..UT... TI...FUL ...!
I spoke to Terry in investor's relations today. Dr. Moro told him right before he left for Prague that the science for the Recaf is finished! That tells me that Abbott is satisfied with the test as is.
When asked about other news we'll be seeing shortly, he mentioned Biocurex was in the final stages of finalizing a licensing agreement with a recognized company associated with cancer, but it is not a pharma. Anyone care to speculate? When asked about what's next, he told me he doesn't know for sure, but the next logical step would be trials. He said that Biocurex has been working with Munich or Moscow University, but I don't think he knew on what.
