I was looking at the E/J - sitting between the 50 and 200 day moving average - put a limit order to short the pair at 117. or put a buy in at 110. and play between the averages -
careful Ipre, Japan is internening in the currency market to correct their currency rise by releasing more Yen slowly - however that gap of 3 cents on the actual currency itself in one day does seem to reason that it merits to be covered. I'm going to take the USD/CAD up cautiously.
non farm payroll out friday - probably decline to 1.0320 or bounce between 1.0320 and 1.0646 - . I'm thinking cad/jpy again - enter at 8o.60 out at 81.60. On another note what is up with HRAL at .013 seems really low as it has stores within the Walmarts
C'est la vie mon amie - lol. Yes lost that trade. Switched to EUR/CHF and made that trade back up. I'm thinking about next week - last week of month - if the Swiss franc advances to 100 then the EUR/CHF may be a good one to stay with. AUD/CAD approaching a top of the year. CAD/JPY break below low if yen advances - ?
I hope USD/CHF can break up out of range of the 1.03 - 1.06 - and not below
sold C/J at 82.72 and bought usd/chf at 1.0437 - yikes! It better go up by end of week - stop loss at 1.0280 profit at 1.0543 - thoughts Ipre?
U/J at same price as late last year - both lows, double bottom? C/J I think risky, but playing off the 4 hour chart - alot of resist going up.
I'm going to try 83.20 - but if it reaches it could signal a bigger turn to 85.00?
into forex again - triing a buy on cad/jpy - I think it may have a short term turn around this week - in at 81.71 - with a stop loss at 80.90 - I'm undecided about where to take profit - lots of resist going up - what you think Ipre?
? 3 buy step
NGP.V Nevada geothermal is another one I follow - 5 power plants on the go with an est 200MW output, 94 million shares os, seems reasonable at .56 a share now - thoughts?
Hi Ipre I was getting slaughtered on forex - switched to xcho and made some profit earlier in the year. Now I'm playing the dividend paying trusts and stocks - triing to pick up the dividend one month and selling the following month when it peaks before the dividend date. What about yourself?
? usd?chf 102.40 turn up?
ipreeeeee........let's go.......let's play, USD/JPY down or AUD/USD up? ;)

new year resolutions?
short USD/JPY now - coming down
Ipre Happy New Year - still playng Forex? Watch USD/JPY - XJPY index near 200 dma - means U/J moves down - remember fib fans for stops - hope the new year is good for you friend
great new song Placebo - Running up that Hill - shorting CAD/JPY to 83.32 - hoping JPY currency keeps running
hey Ipre - GBP/USD volatile this week - still playing the forex?
Lol - so true Taran - you want to warp your mind even more try the forex
Ipre fib fans help judge targets and stops the U/Cad I used Nov 1 high and Oct 14 low - the past three days are touching 38% and 50% - touched 1.0752 top end of fan, if break above then I would think 1.0810 next target
Nikkei market advanced last night as well as markets in US flat from US reports showing unemployment still rising for the 22 straight month - the calendar shows that the major watch might be on Great Britain - G/U pair at the top end of play - risky to say what may happen, but I be tempted to start shorting this pair on Sunday with a target of 1.6310
triing GBP/JPY buy - target 151.00 - entry 150.13 - tomorrow's calendar is packed - so I'm not going to hold too long even 150.50 would look good - 5 mini lots on it
yes it's not worth playing the calendar - the spreads are rediculous - however US rates remein unchanged which means you are probably right - short U/C
$xbp weekly on verge of breaking to new highs - at 162.93 looking at 175 for 200dma - I think it will not die to quickly Ipre
[chart/]stockcharts.com/c-sc/sc?s=$XBP&p=W&yr=5&mn=9&dy=0&i=p83375737546&a=182595544&r=9640
G/U lower highs Lower lows - looking for 1.6543
forex club contest starts Nov 8 to Nov 13 - free sign up - some nice prizes Ipre
GO G/U - FALLLLLLL
I'm shorting G/U - risky play but I put tight stop on it at 1.6615 - looking for quick 40 pips
another I wonder how they will fair with the next earnings is RTK - I like the concept and the orders to supply the aero industry with they're alternative fuel - but I wonder if they can match last earnings if not they may take a drop and give a nice entry into it
G/U pair challenging it's high - if you think the U/CAD pair will drop then the G/U pair should head up for new highs
Ipre that CAD/JPY pair unbelievable from Sunday - 18 pips short of 86. target - would have been a minimum 250 pip profit - nice
Nice Taran -it's transportation - made me look at the ocean freighters - they're are climbing also - OCNF ESEA FREE TOPS
I don't know Ipre - U/Cad pair volatile - looks to me if 1.0590 doesn't hold then it will dteriorate further - upside to 1.0750 by fib fans then 1.09 -
Taran you have a nose for what moves up - after VG what's the next play?
Ipre take alook at the CAD/JPY pair trading sideways since May - at near bottom trend - may be worth a buy here or wait to see if slips below 82.00 stop at 80.00 profit take at 86.00 - news saying yen under pressure to increase value
http://www.investopedia.com/articles/forex/05/COTreport.asp
Here is an article on interrupting the COT report - Hope this helps Ipre - I look for weekly moves rather then short intraday moves - learned the hard way
http://www.cftc.gov/marketreports/commitmentsoftraders/index.htm
Ipre the COT report can be useful in looking at what the overall sentiment is full certain currencies as well as other options
