Political intolerance to such an extent is tyrannical. My favorite history prof was pressured into retiring after he made a controversial remark during a class lecture. I have learned the most from writers pf history books, who had a differing viewpoint. It does not mean that the facts should be censored for fear it would knock down a doctrine. But that often happpens. It is good to read widely. That is sad about the librarian.
I don't care for the controlled liberalism as well as that of conservatism. I don't like Bill O'Reilly either. Everybody gets a sandbox. Please look up Allan Watt(Cutting through the Matrix). He never ceases to amaze me. It is scary to know that most everything I once believed first originated in some think tank funded by controlling billionaires. Thanks Coydog for that lecture on markets.

HMGP Stock
Hi coydog:
I played this one bad, getting in at .32 for some shares in Aug 2007, and then averaging down at .0765 for an ave. cost of 13 cents. If I would have held in(I sold at a nickel.) I would be even by now. Do you see this stock dipping at some pint for a good reentry point or should I just forget it? I have this this record where if soemone had sold when I bought and sold when I bought he would be very rich. I don't mind being honest on this point. I am tired of being a contrary indicator. Should I look for an enrty point or just let this one go?
I have some suggestions in the Candian mining area. Please don;t go whole hog into it:
1. It is a bad idea- best to buy in small quatities over time in order to buy in at a good price.
2. August is usually a good time to buy Canadian juniors.
Mountian Boy Minerals and Pinnalce Mines have a promising project in the Silver Coin project. Both have been beaten down horribly. At under 20 cents a share both cos, have plenty of upside, and the charts show them at bottoms. MTB, has excellent fundamentals and there will be a stream of drill reports coming from their projects with massive potential deposits of upwards of 200 grams per tonne of silver.
Another good prospect is Puma Exploration. They are looking to expand their deposits at depth and laterally at their Nicolas Deny project. They have the potential to expand their deposits by 12X. http://silverbullreport.forumotion.com/stock-tip-forum-f2/about-this-new-stockpumv-or-puxpfpk-t125-50.htm#2892
Additionally I like OSR.v and GRG.V.
GRG.v is actually going to get smelter royalties. So they do not have to sell as much equity to finance exploration. They also have some excellent properties. OSR.v has terrific properties that are expanding in deposits discovered and they are close to going into production.

From Hebdo Chaleur:

Probable Opening of New Mine in the City Limits of Bathhurst
One million ounces of silver, 11 million pounds of zinc, 5 million pounds of lead and 6,200 ounces of gold have been estimated on a sole space of 100 meters by 50 meters in the limits of Bathhurst.
Since the beginning of the year, 2008, three drills have been put into operation to attempt to evaluate the mineralogical holdings of the Hatch and Shaft lens - a mining area of 100 m. by 50 m. in the form of a football(soccerball?). The results were surprising, because they have confirmed the strong presence of mineralisation in the extending zones in 2 dimensions(?) of these lenses. A fourth drill has also been added to lengthen by 200 m. the surface of the drilling area of the Hache Lens making it three times larger than it had been at the start.
More than 17,000 meters of drilling were done, for a goal of 3 million tonnes of resources inferred and 800,000 tonnes of resources indicated - an inferred mineral resource contains, generally, the exploitable metal without total certainty, whereas the indicated resource shows with certainty the presence of exploitable minerals. This is according to chief, Andre Proulx, president for the exploration company, Puma, who gave a presentaion on the mineral claim concerned. The undertaken drillings could very well put in place a new mining operation in the region. "For a surface mine that would be exploitable, it should be able to permit a recovery of about 500,000 tonnes of metal annually, which would be 5 million tonnes for 10 years." In accounting solely for the number of metals indicated annually for the lens Hache, 364,000 tonnes have been found. In brief, on assays of 17,000 meters that cover a projected of 500,000 tons(?) of metal annually, the little area of a hundred meters that is the Hache lens has been nearly equaled (achieved(?)) in a few months drilling.
The hopes are huge as are the expectations as to the future opening of a new mine. To emphasize(?) the comparison, the extracted rock in the Nicholas-Denys area is 92% pure, leaving aside a small precentage of 8% that contains sand and other rocks than the metals desired. However, these presently exploitable mines at Bathhurst that are already operational possess a rock extract that is no more than 65% pure according to information already recorded. It should not be astonishing that the expectations would be enormous on the part of the president of Puma Exploration.

Good luck Coydog. Hope you get three cherries.

This seems to be a good deal. 5 days ago the stock touched bottom at 32 cents. I am curious as to what depth this deposit at Nicholas-Deny goes. I know this is not a typical iHub stock. Those single penny wonders leave me cold. I am not sure if this is another not.v, but it does have a small share float, and I forecast at least 55 cents a share if future drill reports prove opulent. My position averages at 40 cents a share.
"I will never tell that joke again. Never." That bad. Sorry, I asked.
Could you tell us the joke? I mean you might as well since you got fired for it: you've already paid your pound of flesh. I hope that woman gets fat from all food she is going to buy from her harrassment suit award.
What do you think of Jim Powell as a historian?
EJXR is what Hemi imagines itself to be on a good day when someone "long and strong" doubles down at the ask to start a trend. BTW, PUM.V just shot up a few cents on the expectation of an indicated and measured reserve report of gold and silver. It's at $0.39 CAN a share, and it has been as high as 60 cents last fall. A quick 40% to 50% return is good in this smarket.
Thanks. I think there will be a good number of shares coming off restriction hitting the market. It doesn't speak too well of the confidence of former retricted stock owners have in the company.
Do you think it will hit a penny?
Well, we tend to ignore our best instincts. In my gut I had a bad feeling. I suppose it is akin to a young man telling himself all will be well at the Sommes. Just pray hard, and run fast to the Hun's machine gun nest. "I am special, and nothing bad will happen to me." Out of sight, out of mind, I suppose.
I saw hillzman post gross revenue of about 480k for HMGP. I had already calculated a gross operating margin of 35% from the last Fin Report. So the gross profit for the year would be about $168K. I have a feeling Admin and other expenses will choke it back to near breakeven. Yep, no dilution needed!
Nevermind. The story's already been told.
MTB.V up 4 cents to 30 cents a share. I do not why people won't try the precious metals sector as it will be a healthy sector in the market. I see trading strategies that only work for pre July of 2007. I don't see any good action in micro pennies. The junior sector is especially ripe for good gains. It is only good for 50% to 100% gains, but I'll take that.
The only thing that I have made money on is my silver and gold bullion. I do have some gold and silver stocks that might recover, but they are Canadian juniors. Juniors have not done so well, because of the risk aversion from the credit crisis. Arian Silver is about to go in production as is Oro Silver. The rest are either developers or explorers, so I am not as comfortable being in them.
I feel that there so many stocks where people say there is gold at the end of the rainbow. So if you have to wait 4 or 5 years then it would be good to study the company intensely before you buy, because you don't a bunch of sleepless nights full of doubt after you buy the stock. This might be an excellent deal. I haven't looked at it yet.
At what point will it hit bottom? What do I look for, Coydog?
I never said I would buy at 4 cents. Could you point that out to me? Where did I say that?
Hello Wirog. I don't have PM. Could you email me at eurospec2000(at)yahoo.com? I found your recommendation a little dicey for me. Have you anything over 10 cents? Thanx.
Where is the financial report, Big Mur?
I am glad I came here. I out of Hemi Energy Group. I am afraid those shareholders are in for much disappointment. Having a CEO who says that he must keep a lot of secrecy in order to secure good oil deals leaves too much room for abuse. Also the financial report is way over due, and I see every indication possible of share dilution. It is a good guess that out of the blue the brokers will in 2 months time update the float, and Hemishareholders will see their shares diluted at 90 million shares strong. For too many sessions there are these upside down candle sticks. Thank you all for helping me see the light.
Well, you have a long time to wait for that buy out. It seems that more shares are being added to the float. The secrecy can have double edge to it. I know that in many bad deals investor who had a lot of paper losses become misled in the faith that the price will come back. So they find admitting that they made a mistake a hard act to make.
I am not saying that people at HMGP are not above board and honest, but I will say this that in many confidence schemes the mark may have lost some percentage in the deal, so instead of admitting early that he was taken advantage, he engages in magical thinking that he will get it all back and then some. That the small loss is just a temporary snafu or glitch. I believe the people at HMGP think themselves virtuous and above reproach, but the best scheme works if the dealmaker is sincere and excels in a variety of self rationalizations.
The fellow at SocGen thought himself a grand fellow in all sincerity when he tried to make it all back by unethically tapping funding in SocGen.
I believe that Keith had the best of intentions as did John, but I do not think their actions would pass the smell test. I may be wrong that their sharpness and their foxiness in a temporary bad patch may portend a bad end for my funds. It could very well be that these are only temporary bad times like a government in war forcing its citizens to take unbacked script and income taxes. Perhaps when the war is over the money will be backed by gold and the income taxes repealed. This was true after the Civl War in the States was ended. But crisis has a way making people meek to the irregular and egregious.
I leave you with my best wishes.
Good. Now I can get some sleep tonight.
One thing that is nice about markets is that both buyer and seller feel like they got a bargain. GLTY.
Some chart analysis now:
If you will look at the wicks on the candle sticks you will see that most of them are upside down. This is selling pressure. There are sellers coming onto the market looking for the best bid for their shares. They seem to predominate the market. If this were an uptrending stock the candlewicks would be right side up with the buyers predominating the market. These upside down wicks are sellers exploring for bottom feeders who are willing to bite. The flippers actually provide the liquidity for the shares, because they are looking for dead cat bounces. There may well be a dead cat bounce from here, and some flipper will make a penny off my sale. The flipper will use his real time diagnostics to sell, then the next wave of sellers will cause more upside down candlesticks to form. Then we will revisit he 5's. Eventually the inverted candle sticks will explore the 04's and the longs will console themselves with the rectangles in the 05's while the wick is exploring the 04's.
This will not be a promising stock until the wicks change direction. Gotta go.
I sold my position at a nickel flat. It may shoot above 6 cents for a while, but then I feel only too sure it will be biting at 4.5 cents. I feel like a chump, but at least I still have what I had at a nickel. I can not stand the pain and the secrecy. But I do know by now that when I see Auto on the ticker it means no good. I am sorry I did not wake up earlier.
I think the lack of disclosure can give the management a lot of leeway to dilute stock while the other shareholders are waiting for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. So the rainbow venturer walks for miles to get to the end of the rainbow, but a' lack and a' las', no pot o' gold. Do I want give up my power to someone who put a blindfold on my eyes and lead me by the hand? Executioners put blindfolds on their victims for a reason. They don't want the victim to flinch and thus prove the axe blow untrue. Waiting 3 years with minimal disclosure is too long to ask. Many secret societies pick their exclusive inner circles by how quickly a pledge discovers a fraud by their examiners. This secrecy is a givng of my power to someone else. I want to claim my power back.
I asked about the financial report in my letter to Keith which was mailed on Feb. 5th. It is nigh a forthnight. I suppose I should let another week pass before sending a second polite letter kindly asking for a financial report.
Yep, $2 or $3 per share would not hurt my feelings at all.
I sent a letter out to the CEO on the gagged TA. It was a polite letter. I even let Big Mur look at it. Perhaps you could do the same on the Gagged TA issue. I understand that Keith received some harsh communications on the stock performance of Hemi last Fall. That is the reason given for his taciturn tack.
"who am I to stop ya from selling?"
You've gotta a point there.
Let's see what figures wily Keith puts out.
I'm too confused right now. Do you really like this stock?
I tried to dump my position at $.062. But there were no takers.
The only thing I have been right in is holding several hundred ounces of precious metals.
Street cunning will only get you so far and then you have to take it to the next levels. There are common grifters and then there are the Henry Kissngers, and Bill Gates of the world. I hope Keith is more than small town Machiavelli.
As long as Keith's foxiness is aimed away from us shareholders, I'll feel better about it. Let the other guys lick their wounds for a change.
Oh god no! I have several commodity related investments that depend upon the good health of lunatics and madmen world over.
It would be nice to get a PR on the final production for January, and a projection for February. HMGP holders have really taken it on the chin. We still have not broken the 50 day MA. Tomorrow would be soon enough for it.
