How do you spell bull*hit: GFCI
This is the part I liked best:
"Grifco and CTT have encountered a number of delays in obtaining the historical financial accounting information of IPMC Holdings Corp., the predecessor of CTT. This information is necessary to complete an audit of CTT's financial statements that are required to file a registration statement with the SEC. To date, CTT has not received this necessary financial data and no assurance can be given that it will receive this information in the future."
And no assurance can be given that there won't be a class action suit regarding purposefully misleading statements for the purpose of defrauding the public.
I'll take it for $2.25(the whole company that is).
Thanks. Any Idea when the final shoe will drop? Is it still possible that the stock can be used by another entity?
Well, its now the end of the day of 5-24. Has revocation occurred?
Nova news that explains why its been falling. People paid with stock sold before the bad news. Just more BS.
I tried to sell at .01 today and salvage at least a good night on the town. Still wondering if Jurisper is right, but I find it interesting that Nova is tanking. Could there be some move to salvage IBCL's right to the patents and proceeds?
I'll try again tomorrow at the same. Dinner and a show; perhaps I can get tickets for a good tragedy.
Thank you. I have not laughed that hard since I was told that the US govt. was interested in buying from the company.
Why so little volume today? Has trading been halted?
Hey NOMO
I bought at .30 so I got a much better deal. LOL
That's a pretty wild explanation, but I don't disregard anything nowadays. I think I'll watch a bit longer. My 30,000
shares are only worth about $140 after fees.
I don't understand what you're talking about. Who would care if people "get out" of a worthless stock? Who would put up the money? Please exlain.
This whole thing is very, very odd.
I'm afraid I was a work all day and did not get a chance to sell during this "rally", or whatever the heck it was. I've never seen anything like it.
How come they are so out of sync now? I'm very suspicious of this whole thing, and not very happy either.
LMD-
I have to make a public reply. I hope you're wrong. I can't see this patent doing anything that significant. I believe the judgement against TM will bust him, and any interest he has in either company will have to be forfeited. However, I hope he gets to keep his orange suit.
Thank you. You've got me feeling all warm and fuzzy on a below zero night.
What to you do when you have a company buy your product?
Why you buy it, of course. Then you screw it up so it no longer sells any of your product. The only thing "long term" about these deals will be the prison sentences, I hope.
Not to beat a dead horse here, but why not wait until after the distribution, when the value should be depressed, to buy back the shares? I'm not bashing here as I do own about a thousand shares, but there IS something odd going on here and I suspect that, at least in part, is why people are dumping.
Question: If GRIFCO is not intending to hold any Global Tools stock, then why are they buying back their own shares when that will give them a significant number of shares?
Congress to Fund $2.5 Million in Energy and Water Development Appropriations for Altair Nanotechnologies' Nanoscience Research
Wednesday November 9, 1:42 pm ET
RENO, NV--(MARKET WIRE)--Nov 9, 2005 -- Altair Nanotechnologies, Inc. (NasdaqSC:ALTI - News) has been designated to receive an additional $2.5 million in Federal grant funding during 2006-2007 for the continued development of nanotechnology, nanosensors, and nanomaterials research, development and deployment. The $2.5 million funding was included in the Congressional Energy and Water Development Appropriation for Fiscal Year 2006, which was passed by the U.S. Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives on November 8, 2005. We anticipate the appropriation will be signed by the President within the next week.
The grant will be utilized for funding of the following projects:
1. The continued development of nanosensors for detecting chemical,
biological and radiological agents in the environment.
This project continues as a joint research and development
collaboration involving Altair Nanotechnologies and
Western Michigan University.
2. Development and testing of nano-structured electrode materials for
high-power, quick-charge, quick-discharge, high cycle life lithium
ion batteries.
This project includes the continued joint development of
nano-structured lithium titanate materials for anodes and
nano-structured lithium manganate cathodes for high-performance
batteries with Rutgers University. Altair has concurrently developed
a manufacturing process to produce the materials in bulk for
manufacture of Li(4)Ti(5)O(12) batteries.
3. Development and characterization of nanomaterials for bactericidal
biofilms in non-aqueous environments.
This funding will support research for the characterization of
bactericidal nanoparticles with the ultimate goal of producing
environmentally safe, biocompatible, antimicrobial nanomaterials
for bacteria-resistant surface coatings for sensitive devices and
buildings. The project is a collaboration involving the National
Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, The University of
Nevada, Reno, and The University of California, Santa Barbara.

"We are appreciative of the hard work and continued support of numerous individuals including Nevada Senator Harry Reid, the Democratic Leader in the Senate," commented Altair CEO and President Alan J. Gotcher, Ph.D. "We believe these programs will have a positive impact on Altair's alternative energy initiative, the company's continued development of homeland security and national defense products, and a new development program to produce environmentally safe bacteria-resistant nanomaterials for providing self-cleaning surfaces."
No, I don't own this. I sold my NVBG shares at 1.11, But I still own IBCL. I just thought I'd change the subject. There are other technologies coming to compete with current ones. That is all. Have a rotton day.
Just 2! The least they could have done is run a contest.
I wonder if the results of the trial will have any affect on the business side of the relationship between Nova and IBCL.
Suppress SEC deposition?? He must have turned himself in. What a guy!
I like it. Nothing fancy, just the facts and goals. I wish they would have spent more discussing pharmaceutical application goals/progress. They spent so little on research that I assume they aren't doing much in this area, or have farmed it out.

Because they have money (IMO)
This has nothing to do with the current rise. We know that this is a good product. There must have been some substantive occurance, but my guess is that it is now trading for about what its worth. I will neither buy nor sell here, but holding seems appropriate. After all, how much more can I lose.
You did real good! I e-mailed the good Dr. Smith, but I'm not really expecting a reply. I'll settle for a 60% loss at $20.
(I know, I'm nuts.)
Unable to access company's website this A.M.. Will try later.
Perhaps they're updating with something useful. No, too much to hope for.
That's hardly a reason to be up 1000% over the last few weeks, especially with the history of this outfit.
Right. Must be a lot of good guessers out there.
What bugs me is how this thing is moving without a whisper of news for the public. Has anyone tried to contact the company to see what's going on?
I don't know how they can dodge that bullet with IBCL still in bankruptcy procedings. All I can think of that's driving Nova is that one of their drug candidates has traversed some hurdle. Talk about insider trading! How about letting the rest of us(you know, SHAREHOLDERS) in on the facts. On the other hand, this is probably just more smoke and mirrors.
Is it possible that one of their antiviral, antifungal, or antibacterial products is actually in the testing stage?
Are positive results a possibility? Is there really an Easter Bunny? No, Virginia, wrong holiday and wrong stock.
NVBG up 700% in a month without any public news release. Does anyone know what's going on? If it continues up about 3000% more I'll be even!
NVBG up 700% in a month. What's up?
You beat me JB, I only need to get to $46 to break even. Hey, do I sense a contest here? Na, too depressing.
Gee, I thought it was going to announce bankrupcy and that's why its going up! Thanks for the insight.
You betcha.

We're rollin' now. Okay, crawling. By the turn of the century IBCL will see some royalties.
I believe SiShield has been taken to court regarding patent infringement, but I'm fuzzy on the outcome of this. Anyone
out there who can enlighten us?
Dupont was incorporating product into their roofing shingles on trial homes and were supposed to have the nessesary data within a couple of years to decide to sell shingles with it. I wonder what ever happened with that. Is part of NVBG increased sales related to this?
I agree with NoMo, tax selling is unlikely. Probably just a lot of holiday drinking resulting in irrational exuberance.
I can't imagine why anybody would buy or sell at this price.
Maybe someone's buying for the stock certificates to wallpaper with. Its cheaper than Home Depot.
Must be the egg nog hangover. Could those unfortunate people devestated by tidal waves have any use for IBCL or Nova products?
