C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER!!!
Let's move on further up, shall we? =)
1.141x1.15
Slapped ask @ 1.15, didn't budge. Someone's trying their best to walk it down for more cheapies, lol.

Yeah I had a partial fill of 2000 shares.
Still waiting for the rest of my order to fill...
I put in a limit order at the bid and no action :(
;)

I made a profit on the shares I flipped in mid 2007 and I'll make a hefty profit on the bulk shares I'm holding long since then.
4Q loss is vastly overshadowed by QonQ and YoY growth for 2007. Even analyst estimates put EPS @ ~0.07-0.08/share for 2008, 7-8x of 2007.
PPS being too low for AMEX will not be an issue with eventual FMV.
This post by _bbb_ sums up the German board's sentiment for 2008 well:
"2008 ist das Jahr von Deep Down!"
2008 is DPDW's year!
Ich glaube dass auch, _bbb_.
Buy buy buy!
Even the short-term signals are looking good, and the 10K is due at any time. QoQ/YoY profits should be good, so what else is there to consider? This stock is a different investment today than it was six months ago, and it's definitely for the better.
Breakout time! Here we goooo! =]
I for one appreciate the level-headed analysis you have been contributing recently. Thanks for your posts, techisbest.
IMO they are not trying to "plug the holes". The whole point of a sieve is to get rid of the undesired :P
From what I've seen there are 3 major factors at work:
1) Ex-directors of mediquip, etc. selling their shares by the millions because they don't give a shit about the company and just want their money ASAP
2) MM manipulation (they're having a real BBQ right now, and we're the ones being roasted)
3) Scared shareholders who are getting burned
This isn't a pump and dump... but with the PPS so low I'm bleeding like a stuck pig.
I find AccipiterQ to be a much more realistic poster than many of the shoot the moon types here...
And I fail to see how legitimate concerns are "whinning [sic]"
Four months ago I would never have dreamed that we'd be at the PPS we are at right now. Honestly, despite my continued faith in the fundamentals of DDI, the PPS still HURTS. So please, don't rub salt in people's wounds.
Again, that's a good level analysis of the current situation. It seems in all the talk about the recent PPS we forget that DPDW is a profitable company in a profitable sector with phenomenal growth Q over Q and Y over Y.
Membermarked.
Agreed, KROM has a level head on his/her shoulders.
Lately there have been way too many people predicting we shoot the moon or hit the fan. Do DD to your comfort level and if you like what you see, buy some shares of DPDW. I'm as annoyed as anyone by the recent price action but my shares are locked up for the long haul.
Same here, I'm liking what I see (minus the charts)
Figure I might as well average down as long as I got the spare cash...
Hehe, 'til their heads pop off. I like it, it's about time the folks playing with fire got burned ;)
While I'm quite unhappy about the recent price action, I'm still happy about where DPDW is headed in the long run, and so I'll keep on holding. Might be healthy for me to take a break from the charts for a bit though, LOL.
No offense, but to some you will simply sound like a broken record. We've all waited and waited for relief since October but it hasn't come yet. That said, the patient will *eventually* be rewarded.
DPDW's PPS is usually darkest before the dawn, and this time it's pitch black...
I'm not going to bother stating support or calling a bottom, this will head back north when it's all well and ready. In the meantime I might as well accumulate more cheapies...
Well that was a pleasant lunch break. I come back to my computer to see that we're getting some nice volume today :)
***DPDW Special***
Only $0.66/share, for a limited time only! It's like a 75% off sale item or something :)
***DPDW and Sector Charts***
http://stockcharts.com/charts/candleglance.php?dpdw,oii,slb,nov,rig,do,ftk
Just in case you haven't seen it already. FTK has lost over 50% in PPS since October, so while our recent downtrend was/is more severe, we are the only stock of these 7 on the OTC BB. The overall pattern is very similar, and IMO several of these companies are oversold from a long term perspective even if technicals do not necessarily signal a turnaround just yet (though it is getting close ;))
DPDW is holding very well in a market that's taking a plunge :)
I get the impression that many are just depressed by the recent PPS and would like it to be back in the range they know it should be in. :)
In terms of the long haul as an *investment* I do not think anyone here fails to see that future years will see a larger, more profitable company with accelerating growth and acquisitions.
Even for the traders and speculators on IHUB, I think this might not be a bad time to pick up some (more) DPDW. The chart is looking pretty good for a bounce up from 0.66 as major support. Short term we'll probably be as volatile as any other stock in the broader and very volatile market, but long term I think the overall uptrend will pay very handsomely for the longs.
It appears you were right! Looking over your posts I see you made the call for 0.66 as support. Nice one there :)
Ain't that the truth, LOL.
If I had $10K burning a hole in my pocket I would grab 14-15K more shares ;)
It helps keep things in perspective :)
I let the charts do the talkin', because it seemed like people are expecting DPDW's PPS to be great when industry comparables are taking a breather.
***DPDW Sector Analysis***
DPDW is doing comparably to the rest of the sector. The overall economy is not doing too hot, but rest assured that while there are down times, there are up times as well :)
***DPDW Quit Panicking***
We held strong at our support of 0.66. Even if the recent dip is highly undesirable it is NOT something to panic about!
Overall agree with you, but I'd like to point out that DPDW is on the OTC BB not on the Pink Sheets ;)
Pinkies are far worse in terms of games and fluctuations... and it's rare to find a profitable company. Let's not forget that DPDW is very profitable, which is a rarity on the OTC market!
It's happened with DPDW at least a few times before where we get walked down to intolerable levels only to bounce higher than before. JMO.
Haha, "calm and collected" doesn't describe many of us on down days. ;)
There's one very big thing that says they wouldn't want to do that: After a record of great price targets, it would reflect badly on DR to their clients to rescind their price target.
IMO DR isn't wrong with its price target - it's only a matter of time before PPS catches up here. (Of course, it would help if DDI would step up and release some substantive PRs full of juicy information).
My thoughts exactly TAKURI, we're hitting a potential triple-bottom here in the .60s. Good thing I just got another paycheck today :)
Just think of the possibilities if/when we get several dozen contracts for LARS/Proteus/etc.
Even a few of these have a SIGNIFICANT impact on the bottom line.
Quite a key hire here, IMO.
DPDW is slowly setting up to eventually uplist. As long as management continues to deliver the long term prospects are very good. Teal's resume is very telling.
Christmas a bit early? You decide.
*Cough* "Economic Stimulus" Plan */Cough*
http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/01/24/economic.stimulus/index.html
While I don't think it's a good strategy for the long run and perhaps even not for the short run, I sure as hell wouldn't mind $600 from the Feds. More funds to buy DPDW, though I don't think we'll remain at these fire-sale prices for much longer :)
Sounds to me some people are picking up what they feel to be shares at a good value :)
Not to rain on anybody's parade, but we have yet to have solid confirmation of a reversal, so buckle up and let's hope that we're nice and green at closing.
Indeed, I've started ignoring predictions that don't have cold hard facts and solid TA/FA behind them. I'm more patient than the average Joe, but this morass we're in is getting tiresome. That said, DPDW is holding pretty well with the big boys in its sector - SLB and such are all down comparably, some worse than DPDW.
Still holding long since June though. I guess I'm better off than people who are holding a unrealized loss from the high 1.00s or even low 2.00s(still have a slight unrealized gain here).
Then again, I realize it's very tempting to flip DPDW, and if I had known it was going to temporarily peak around 2.35 I probably would have flipped. But timing is the key, and I'm not confident in my ability to "time" the runs and dips. Going long is the only way for me.
FWIW, I'm also a student and took out a small loan instead of contributing a few K towards my bursar bill. I did this back in June, and the (unrealized) profit as of today on DPDW is > 60%. For me the interest on my loans will be far less than the profits from my stock holdings, as long as I continue to greatly outperform the indexes :)
