I'm new to trading BB stocks; I read about this in a newsletter my friend referred me too; can you tell me your thoughts on this?
I am very much aware. I have a beautiful two year old son that says otherwise. His (and other children's lives) are valuable in and outside of the womb. They are the ones that should be protected, they are the ones without a voice. We as parents are in charge of caring for and protecting them from conception to birth in case you were unaware. I would gladly give my life to protect my son.
Furthermore, I was stating that in cases of those mothers that are looking for the "easy" way out (ending a life before it even has a chance like it never happened) they are the ones that should be encouraged to choose adoption.
Does anyone get the feeling that our administration is more intent upon paying attention to matters overseas then in our own country?
I believe this is a prime example:

Whatever happened to every life is precious? Y'all are sitting here talking about how wrong it is for our troops to be occupying Iraq, and innocents being killed...blah blah....(not that I'm disagreeing with that)yet when it comes down to innocent infants being killed before they even get a chance to possibly contribute positively to society with the right guidance (meaning thousands of baren couples who would give anything to have a child to love and care for)you suddenly sing a different tune. I am a firm believer in the fact that there are many people that should not be parents or even rep-produce, but if a little one is conceived, then we should be encouraging them to have the good sense to give that child up for adoption to a family that wants it, and can care for it properly. It is the more honorable choice, and also the one that proves to be more beneficial. Have you ever stopped to think about the psychological damage that killing an innocent unborn child can cause a mother? Many have issues for the rest of their lives as a result. Why not choose adoption? The mother can live with the fact that somewhere her child is giving another family joy and hapiness and quite possibly contributing it's own piece of greatness to society. As scary it is to be pregnant and have a child (I should know) the end result is more than worth it. I look at my son everyday and am unbelievably thankful that he is here. Sure it may have not come at the best time, and it may have made my life a lot harder. Still it was totally worth it. In only two years he has contributed such joy to so many lives. Just as all children have a way of doing. So I say, don't be a coward. Take the alternate route and give that child and another family a chance to experience the joy that can be found.
By the way, if you are thinking that this option will contribute to overpopulation, I assure you that the senseless wars going on throughout the world will most likely even out the odds.
It is frightning to come to the realization that this "scare tactic" does work on citizens of this country. This goes to prove that over the centuries of this country's existance, we have lost the ability to think on our own as our founding father's did. We have become so spoiled and enthralled in our own lives that we allow our government to tax us ridiculously (govt. officials need a Benz)and increase spending to "improve our way of life and protect us" in areas such as healthcare, for example, and barely bat an eyelash. Yet the price for perscriptions, hospital services, etc. are still increasing rapidly, and the quality is not. For example, I have a friend who has been going to several doctors and spent thousands of dollars in the last 6 months, and still they have not pin pointed what is wrong with him. He has heard everything from iron deficiency to anxiety attacks. Desperate to find an answer, he finally went to a doctor that practices Eastern medicine. The man actually looked him over (did I mention that on several visits the others did not even touch him?), and came to a conclusion. He perscribed some herbal remedies, and now my friend is feeling almost 100% better in one week!
A country once strong with pride and conviction is now suffering from obesity as one of our main health problems and killers, a divorce rate of 38% as of 2005, our biggest news stories are of occurances such as Paris's attempted incarceration/pseudo release/incarceration, and our children are obsessed with violence and sexual explicity. It is no wonder that our country has become more or less a laughing stock. It would be nice to see a complete and thorough internal examination and overhaul done before we go into another country to try to "improve their way of life". However, I won't hold my breath. I leave you with the age old saying....."Do as I say, and not as I do"
Anyone hear about Micheal Strahan of the Giants? It's about time some dude pays out the wazoo for being a philandering jerk. What a crazy divorce settlement. It will be interesting to see what he decides to do after this season (if he even shows up!)
Hey y'all!
I'm new to the site, and saw the football chat and had to weigh in. I am so psyched for the upcoming season!!! 5 weeks and 1 day till the opener!!! Who's your pick for this season? I think the Colts have a chance for it, but I gotta hope for my boys in yellow and black! Although, typically a team needs a season to get accustomed to a new coach.
Good luck to all!
