Being an eligible memeber of the NSCC means XKEM must satisfy resonable requirements to ensure financial integrity. I dont know what all those requirements are but it appears to be enough to take the Q away and legitamize themselves.
I honestly dont know what is happening
That means XKEM is an eligible security as far as the NSCC is concerned. ( National Securities Clearing Corporation)
Sounds too good to be true.

Straight to the point louisa. Absollute clarity.
Thanks rumit. I got it. As the poster "north" said, seeking alpha was misleading in their article.
A good lesson to verify what one reads.
Thanks for the education rumit!
Hi north
I have reread that article I posted and cannot see where it mentions "wet" macular degeneration. I do not have foreknowledge of these drugs or in particular Avastin's cancer drug being used for "wet" macular degeneration and if that is the case my apoligies.
At any rate I like the idea that ACTC will have an opportunity render these drugs obsolete and in a 25-30 billion dollar market.
I wish I could say your wrong but I can't. You have expressed my sentiments also.
People, be careful about putting stop loss orders in. These will be taken out. If they want your shares let them come after them on the ask.
If the license has been revoked from XKEM Nigeria then we all lose....Swift, creditors, shareholders, and most of all those in need of the drug.
If IMF and Pandey have formed a new company and recieve a license from NIPRD to treat malaria, would it not be possible for NIPRD to give the license for Nicosan to this new company.
Would it then not be possible to reorganize XKEM INT. and bring both these licenses under the newly reorganized company? That way we all win except for SWIFT.
But the Nigerian government's National Institute for Pharmaceutical Research Development (NIPRD) has withdrawn the company's licence, according to documents seen by SciDev.Net.
Does anybody have a connection with NIPRD to affirm if this is true?
Thanks MM and to all that make this committment.
You see Mr. Swift it relly doesn't hurt. In fact it can be healing.
Thanks ISD. I bookmarked this site.
My challenge still remains.
When this business turns around I would like to challenge each of you to commit 10% of your profits to buying nicosan so that LMF can give it away through his sales force to those in need the most that can't afford it. I am sure the Nigerian people will be blessed with this gesture and will only accelerate the profitability of XKEM and each of us.
Let's show Swift the humanside of life.
This stock is not acting like a stock that is about to have the socks blown off it with a positive presentation. Good volume but no corresponding price increase.
Mind you maybe the leaks by Swift are in the family only and thus the volume selling on forthcoming bad news.
But why stand up at a conference like this only to present bad news. Maybe he will just stand and say nothing. Ahhh yes , that would be more in tune with XKEM.
I also would like to see Dr. Pandey attend and sit front row center as Swift makes his presentation. If he is clean He should be able to walk into that conference with shoulders square, head held high and stand tall. Send a message to Swift and all participants at the conference. I wonder if Swifts knees would be buckling or stumbling on his words in anticipation of anything Dr. Pandey might say?
Good points IMF.
During question period perhaps you will get an opportunity to ask him to explain why a technical paper on mass production is presented when they have not followed thru on getting the report to increase production in the main process, or that they have not picked up 6.3 mm equipment out of customs, or have they generated enough business to consider mass production.
Not to embarass the man at a function like this but hopefully some tough questions can be asked of him that gives the rest of us a glimpse of what the h... is goin on and what lies ahead.
If they should auction this equipment off do you think Pandey would consider bidding?
Heaven forbid that Swift has anything but altruistic thoughts on his mind but just in case........hopefully someone is spoiling his attempt at getting this for next to nothing.
That is an extremely interesting e-mail in light of what Swift told us. I applaud your perseverance.
Would Pandey care to share his thoughts and/or questions/answer period via a teleconference to the sharehoders?
Thanks for sharing.
It looks to me like we are getting set up for a well orchestrated massive run to the upside
While i agree that we should expect a PR to precede this CC I don't think it will happen. The 1st hour of trading tommorrow will be interesting as investors weigh their risks.
I like the fact the conference call is made on Thursday morning at the beginning of trading hours rather than a Friday night at the end of trading hours.
Bodes well for some positive news. Hopefully they will allow questions or allow questions to be faxed in prior to the call.
How soon is soon and who is calling the meeting
Have you got a detailed plan on how to make that happen? Can you share it? do you need shareholder supportor is this going to involve lawyers and espionage.
Can Pandey solicit all shareholders and explain his position and what he can do moving forward? I am certainly willing to listen. Like you say nothing is happening for the positive the way we are now.
Very well put IMF.
However as you say there are so many allegations from all sides and the shareholders have no idea what has/is really happening except that our share price is floundering.
Something needs to be done ......but what? Who do we trust? Where do we start?
I am all for an action plan but don't know how to effect change for the better. Individually we have several choices which we shall all make whether by choice or default. Collectively, it was Fiat who tried to garner shareholder support and engage the BOD. Did that work and is there any benefit to continue.
Looking for solutions.
I have read that last PR over severaltimes. I see too many positives that may happen. Expect an update that we have satisfied the SEC demands and the operating capital to sustain 2008 operations has been successful.
Another shift added to produce more pills for an additional 2 states and now XKEM can also start paying off sime of the debt load.
Can it happen? I beleive so. Swift may not be able to make such forward statements at this time but behind the scenes it may be coming together.
We should be hearing something within the month.
IMHO
This was nothing more than a manipulated pump by the ownners who got greedy and dumped it all the way back down.IMO.
Can't wait for the next pump to offload
Why is that? We just had one today
My sentiments also
You can be absolutely sure that word of mouth through family, relatives, friends, city/town reps, medical professionals, phamacies, heresay, etc, etc. will happen. Those 3 states will double and exponential growth will happen rather quickly after that.
$1 million to keep operations going for 2008 to see this type of growth is a given. $20 million debt will not seem that overwhelming once critical mass takes over.
Can we or will we be able to produce enough pills. Get the equipment off the docks and store it in the buildings they just erected. The time will fast approch when they will need to install it.
COMEBACK
PR stating:
1. Xkem will not be delisted. Updated financials
2. $1 million operating funds for 2008 aquired.
Next PR:
1. Distribution/sales of nutraceutical pills has begun
2. Operating plan finalized.
3. New CEO at the helm
Next PR:
1. 2nd Qtr 2008 shows another state on board and 25% increase in sales.
Next PR
1. Equipment in ladle paid for and ready to be installed.
2. Another 2 states purchasing Nicosan
Now this gets us to the end of September/08 and the pps is nowat one penny. By Xmas we will get the 1000:1 rs. so we can get on to a bigger board and by nextyear at this time those who held will be breaking even.
Shane, I thought you said June would be a good month.
Now that was funny. Been searching for the right way to say what you just did.
So now we sit and wait for news. Which way will the teeter, totter
Their track record says they will not get this done this year. I agree that money spent in Nigeria expanding out the business until critical mass takes over would make more business sense.
The PR states 90 people are currently employed at XKEM Nigeria. My best guess for one full shift is 60 people. I'm assuming a shift is 12 hours.
Sales Force 10
Mgmt/Staff 20
Production 30
Maintenance 30
A 2nd shift would probably reuire a further 40 production and maintenance workers bring the total employment to 130 people.
Thia seems rather high for just a pilot facility.
May I be so bold as to ask you if you are a shareholder of this company?
I completely agree with you Fiat.
That is the job of the BOD. What prevents them from doing this?
OKEE DOKEE
