Bankruptcy is over. If there are going to be escrows distributions, what's holding them up now? This a serious question for those that have been waiting for a long, long time for some guidance and "fair and reasonable" resolution.
Large Green, is there any documentation that may indicate when escrows distributions could begin?
Any chance for a S4V announcement for escrows on 2/25?
What COULD be revealed for escrows on Feb. 25? Isn't 2/25 when COOP conducts a conference call?
Any realistic guesses?
What COULD be revealed for escrows on Feb. 25?
ditto lodas. Thanks for your take on the situation. Some guidance for escrows is LONG overdue.
lodas, do you have Class 22 escrows? If so, do you anticipate some news regarding Class 22 escrows come Feb 25?
Outstanding DD tanjazielman. Thanks a bunch.
Now this is intriguing, in a JPM Press Release,
"4:19 p.m. Feb. 6, 2020 - BusinessWire - BZX
Mr. Cooper Group Inc. to Discuss Fourth Quarter and Full Year 2019 Financial Results on February 25, 2020"
Why would they include that?
Whatcha' think Large Green, AZ, etc.?
Did AZ actually forecast this?
".40 for 31 quarters starting Monday!!!"
Boris, two points, I've been in WM since pre-seizure, have you? Also, MONICALAW, as a past employee of WM, seems to at least have some ties to WM. I don't know of any other poster on this message board that has. That's why I'm running this question by her. I'm just fishing for some info from the only poster on this MB I have noticed that actually has some direct connection to WM.
MONICALAW, to my knowledge, nobody on this message board has ever heard or seen anything from anybody "in the know" that there WILL be a substantial distribution to escrows holders. Have you actually heard or seen anything from somebody "in the know" that substantial distributions are, indeed, coming to escrows holders?
Juschlln, I agree,in reality, nothing on this message board amounts to "a hill of beans" in theory. But here's what really bothers me. The lack of any kind of official guidance regarding escrows. Pro or Con. Why still, after all these years after releasing, is the fate of escrows so secretive?
Sorry BBANBOB, I can't figure out how escrows, per se, could be tradable.
Thanks BBANBOB. Are you referring to selling potential COOP shares obtained via escrows? Consequently, forfeiting potential dividends on those COOP shares. Or, do you feel escrows shares could actually become a tradable stock market entity?
BBANBOB, please elaborate on this. "ALL here need to Be VERY VERY careful with any and all decisions one makes concerning escrows".
MONICALAW seems legit to me.
I certainly hope so, considering what they took from us.
I really hope MONICALAW is legit. She seems to have a good grasp on escrows' future. And seems quite optimistic about the future escrows distributions. Hasn't she actually been affiliated with Washington Mutual at some capacity?
What's this "shares transferred to a charity" about?
Who could tell us, officially, what JPM actually got for 1.88 Billion?
I feel the failure to pay "book value" by JPM is an issue that would hold up in court. IF it comes to that.
I noticed that, too.
Got your "DRIFT" MONICALAW. Thanks a bunch.
MONICALAW, thanks for your feedback. In your opinion, will at least 10 Billion be coming to Class 22 escrows?
MONICALAW, A and M means "Alvarez & Marcel".
MONICALAW, is this a major portion of what A and M was/is managing?
"WAMU MORTGAGE AND LOANS INCOME BEING EQUITY ESCROW HOLDER'S PROPERTY". In your opinion, could this "WAMU MORTGAGE AND LOANS INCOME" be substantial for escrows holders? At least 10 Billion total.
I agree, it's time for Susman to address this.
I'm curious to see an update from MONICALAW on her analysis of recent events and escrows' future.
MONICALAW, please give your take on the current situation. Hopefully, you still see a "Fair and Reasonable" outcome for Class 22 escrows.
MONICALAW, please tell me, in your opinion, the % chance that you feel Class 22 escrows will get a "Fair and Reasonable" distribution at least starting in 2020.
Thanks MONICALAW. What about obtaining WM's vast amount of real estate? How was that reconciled? And does any of what was paid for WM's real estate come to escrows?
MONICALAW, what do you feel that JPM got for 1.88B in the immediate aftermath of the seizure of WM? And pertinent to escrows, what didn't they get? That they would need to pay book value for, subsequently? That is owed to escrows. For example, real estate, etc.
MONICALAW, you posted, "I DON'T THINK FDIC AND JPM HAS ANY OTHER CHOICE BUT TO PAY US WHAT WE ASKED FOR ." What would be the consequences if they don't, "PAY US WHAT WE ASKED FOR"?
Somebody please tell me if Tepper has Class 22 involvement?
HAPPY NEW YEAR, lodas !
HAPPY NEW YEAR to all posters here. Let's hope it's a "Fair and Reasonable" 2020.
Wonder how President Trump and Jamie Dimon get along. Just in case this saga comes to the forefront.
Boris the Spider or anyone. Does Tepper have any Class 22 escrows?
"JPMorgan found a $30 billion 'unexpected bonus' in the remains of Washington Mutual". By the way, why was this not returned to the estate? Another reason why escrows needed a top-flight legal team representing them. If the estate could pay A and M why couldn't they pay for a great law firm?
