LTUS (Lotus Pharmaceuticals) to restate income HIGHER.
News out yesterday, but headline was poorly worded and caused selling. Bottom line, LTUS will be restating income higher than before. Be sure to read the entire release...especially:
"the effect on the financial statements will generally be an increase in intangible assets and total assets, an increase in due to related parties, total current liabilities and total liabilities, as well as a decrease in general and administrative expenses and total operating expenses and increases in our net income and comprehensive income."
LTUS.OB (Lotus Pharmaceuticals)to restate earnings- HIGHER.
Stock already trades at a PE of about 6, with 120% income growth yoy.
News out yesterday...stock seems very undervlued here.
http://biz.yahoo.com/e/080214/ltus.ob8-k.html
yes, it still looks good to me.
I just couldn't pass up on the opportunity to lock in some nice gains- especially in a market as tough as this one has been lately.
LTUS.OB (Lotus Pharmaceuticals) hires CCG Elite for IR
This is good news for this fast-grower that nobody knows about (yet) :)
http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/080114/cnm017.html?.v=37
I cashed in on WWMU (perhaps a bit early)...but the 80% gain was enough for me to sell. :)
I've been buying LTUS.OB here (Lotus Pharmaceuticals)now. It has the growth and low PE that WWMU had when I bought it, and is still undiscovered. (That's when I like to buy 'em).
LTUS needs to DOUBLE just to get to a PE of 12 (!) based on 2007 income of .18/share. The major thing they were lacking was an IR firm...which they fixed.
See today's news:
http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/080114/cnm017.html?.v=37
yep. I emailed the CEO last week.
He says they are hiring an IR firm ("A well known IR firm in the US") and that the announcement of that will come soon.
God knows LTUS needs the exposure a good IR firm can help them achieve.
Looking for a double-triple for this year from LTUS, based on fundamentals and increased awareness.
LTUS (Lotus Pharmaceuticals) up 10% on near record volume and no news.
People finding out how undervalued LTUS is:
97% revenue growth and 120% income growth 2005-2006, and on track for more of the same in 2007. Already booked .13/share for first 3q of 2007/on track to make .18/share.
Stock needs to DOUBLE just to get to PE of 12 (!)
Good LTUS board on IV:

Lotus Pharmaceuticals (LTUS.OB) up 10% on near-record volume today and no news.
Still needs to cross $2/share just to have a PE of 11. Lots of room to go up!
I love CFSG.
They have the potential to consolidate a very fragmented industrial fire safety market in China.
Still have 1/2 my position I bought last year under $5/share.
I think CFSG and LTUS will do very well this year...but I believe LTUS will do better:
* IR firm on the horizon will help increase awareness/buying
* 120% annual income growth (more than CFSG)
* Major listing not factored in yet as in CFSG.
* Still unknown/undiscovered.
* Chart looks like a double bottom at .90-.95 over last two months- good entry point here?
* $1/share is insanely underpriced for a company that will make .18/share in 2007 (already booked .13/share, and Q4 is their strongest according to the CEO).
* Have nearly as much cash on hand as CFSG/very healthy financially. Current ratio over 3.
Looks like LTUS is close to hiring an IR firm....something they really need to increase awareness and get the SP up where it should be on a growth/earnings basis. It's the major piece of the puzzle that has been missing to date IMO.
Here is the email reply to my inquiry re: their hiring one:
______________
Thank you for your support to our company, we are negotiating with a well-known public relations company in US now and there will be a result soon. Welcome you to Beijing, thank you.
Best wishes,
Liu Zhongyi

On a purely fundamental basis/earnings growth/PE ratio/cash position, yes.
Not enough trading in it though. They need an IR firm and to attend some conferences- both things I've been told they'll be doing this year.
I bought CFSG in March of 2007 when it traded like LTUS- it was still OTC back then, and sometimes only traded 1,000 shares/day. Now it's NASDAQ and trades 200-300k shares/day on average.
Given the 120% income growth, low PE, and cash position of LTUS, I think it's just a matter of time before it rises to $2+.
Income for 2007 should be around .18/share, so the stock needs to double to get to a modest PE of 11.
Happy New Year!
120% income growth yoy, PE of 6(!)in China Pharma: LTUS.OB LTUS.OB Lotus Pharmaceuticals
*Fast growing Chinese pharma company specializing in generics, HQ in Beijing.
* Current ratio 3.2
* Already booked .13/share this year, expected to make .18/share for the year.
* At today's price of about $1/share, the PE is 6 (!)
* over 97% revenue growth in last report, and 123% income growth 2005-2006. State they expect that trend to continue in their recent investor presentation.
* Working capital doubled to $15M in last Q report
* Picked by Cheap Stocks blog as possibly the next AOB. (They picked AOB at about $1/share (now $12/share) and see similarities with LTUS' growth and business plans.

LTUS.OB going to Naz?
According to this dd from an investor who claims to have visited the company and CEO yesterday, yes.
Not positive about the validity of the visit...although I have no reason to doubt that it actually occurred.
http://www.investorvillage.com/smbd.asp?mb=8475&mn=254&pt=msg&mid=3640503
I do know for certain, based on SEC filings, that LTUS is experiencing 97% revenue growth, and 120% income growth yoy, that it's already booked .13/share this year, and expects to make .18/share for '07.
that gives it a PE of around 6 here- VERY UNDERVALUED- Naz or not.
LTUS going to Nasdaq? According to this dd, it will be.
Excellent post on IV re: LTUS.OB, and dd from an investor who visited the company yesterday. With a 6 month timeline for Nasdaq listing, an announcement from LTUS could be coming soon.

This Cheap Stock blog picked AOB (now at $12/share) at $1/share.
Now they are picking LTUS at about $1/share- saying LTUS looks a lot like AOB did when they bought it.

LTUS income 2008 projection?
They don't say specifically. They do say in their presentation filed yesterday that they expect to continue their previous growth rate, wich is about 100% income growth yoy.
All I know is that they should easily make .18 for 2007 (already bagged .13)in the first 3/4 of the year. At a modest PE of 11, the share price should be $2.00/share right now.
Very undervalued here IMO.
Here's the link to their presentation filed with the SEC yesterday:
http://yahoo.brand.edgar-online.com/fetchFilingFrameset.aspx?FilingID=5585357&Type=HTML
"We emphasize that at this point the negotiations are preliminary, and neither party has given any assurances that an agreement can be reached or that material terms can be agreed upon"
What a joke. Glad I dumped this pig when I did.
LTUS.OB (Lotus Pharmaceuticals) PE of 6!
they're on track to easily make .18/share for 2007.
this gives it a PE of just 6 here.
Stock should be at $2 for a mosest PE of 11.
Just needs exposure- something that will come in time.
Great value for a fast grower IMO.
Lotus Pharmaceuticals 3Q = $37.6 Million in Revenues and $6 Million in Net Profits
Stock should be above $2 with .18/share income for 2007.
Looks cheap here!
http://biz.yahoo.com/pz/071120/131802.html
If you like the China pharma sector- take a look at LTUS.OB
Lotus Pharmaceuticals.
50% revenue growth, 68% income growth, made .13/share in last 9 months alone.
On track for .18/share income for 2007.
Stock should be north of $2/share for a modest PE of 11. Looks like CPHI did when it was at $1.50/share and just getting started.
Trading at about $1, it's very undervalued here IMO.

GL
Lotus Pharmaceuticals Releases Third Quarterly Report Showing $37.6 Million in Revenues and $6 Million in Net Profits
ttm PE for LTUS now under 8!
This is the best value I've seen in a China microcap since I bought CFSG in the low 5s.
http://biz.yahoo.com/pz/071120/131802.html
Also on LTUS- they report Q3 next week, and will have very favorable Q over Q reporting.
In Q 2 of 2007, LTUS made .07/share (hard to believe it's a $1 stock still), and I expect they'll report at least that next week with the 5 new pharmacies they've opened in Beijing addiding to earnings/income.
At any rate, they only made .04 in Q3 of 2006, so the yoy comparisons should show 75-100% income growth.
The market will reward that IMO!
Have a "feeling" LTUS.OB (Lotus Pharmaceuticals)
will have blowout numbers next week.
History says they will.
Should move the stock north of $2, where it should already be right now based on fundamentals.
LTUS (Lotus Pharmaceuticals) looks undervalued/undiscovered.
PE 9
Working capital $13M
Cash on hand $8M
yoy income growth 100%
Just opened 5 more pharmacies in Beijing (totral of 15 now), and are still developing several new drugs in pipeline.
State they've got some $50M in expected sales this year.
http://www.thesubway.com/company.asp?action=ResearchReport&CompanyID=3213
This one's a combination pharmaceutical company with R&D of new drugs, and retail pharmacies. Quite a nice combo.
SEC filings are clean.
http://yahoo.brand.edgar-online.com/default.aspx?cik=1292087
why the delay? I don't think this is good.
Still no details on the merger, no details on the buyer, previous PRs stated they would wrap this up in November, and now it's looking like january.
Dosen't smell right- sounds like they might be trying to get another month out of the merger to sell into?
re: "new to DMTN" .17 high, .01 low I believe. eom
it's not that uncommon for a buyer in a case like this to want to remain unidentified for as long as possible. Why give your competition more advance notice of what you're doing than you have to?
As for the financials being "sloppy", not sure where you are seeing them to make that judgement.
I've read a lot of PRs in my days, and I've seen much more that sound sophomoric and conflicting than DMTN's. In fact, DMTN's PRs are quite straightforward IMO.
All that said, it certainly could be a scam still...who knows. For me anyway, the risk/reward is worth a position here because:
A. Even without the buyout, I think DMTN is undervalued here with 2.3M in sales in Q1 2007 alone according to their pr from April.
and
B. I believe the deal is the real thing (150M for a company with this technology and reported revenue growth is peanuts). When the proxy is announced next week, there will be no questions as to the validity of this deal, and the sp will begin to move up (rapidly I'd guess) to near the buyout offer of .49/share.
makes sense that we will see some buying today and tomorrow.
With the proxy vote being finalized by the attorneys, an announcement early next week saying everything's a go for the sale with only the shareholder's vote pending, this will move fast.
JMHO, but I think we go up from here.
And yes, I believe the buyout is real. $120M for this company and their technology is peanuts.
like I said- who cares? It's not material.
What's material is the buyout, not QualityStocks.net.
BigDaddy- u gettin ready to sell?
You're workin' overtime today!
I for one don't give a rat's ass if DMTN (or someone else)paid Quality Stocks.
It's a moot point.
The point is, buyer and seller have agreed to a buyout of .49/share, and all that remains is a shareholder proxy vote.
BTW- can I say "rat's ass" here without getting in trouble?
Ageed- instant mo will break.
With the buyout/proxy vote announcement- that's when we'll get the mo...and it will be fast and furious!
wow- a lot of bashers showing up
A good sign IMO.
Looks like some peeps trying to get in cheap!
LOL, I guess I'm not like most people then.
I can't remember a time when I wasn't confident in a stock I bought. That's because I try to do my dd before entering, and only buy if the risk/reward seems confortable for me at the time.
Incidentally, I am far from broke as you claim I am or about to become, and have done very, very well trading China microcaps this year. I can easily take a bit of a gamble here (all stocks are a gamble anyway) on what I believe is an excellent buy.
If everything was done and legit and verified, don't you think there would be a HUGE flood of buyers???
Yes...if this were a Nasdaq or even OTC.BB company. The fact that it's a pink sheeter will automatically cause many to doubt the honesty of the PRs and to either not buy, or sell with a small gain.
Look...you either believe what they've said in their releases, or you don't.
As I said in an earlier post, the risk/reward potential here is one I'm personally comfortable with.
srockpro- your "concerns" have been answered.
You keep asking THE SAME question over and over again, despite the fact that several have answered the question.
The BUYER, (not Lesko) has approved of the sale- they were the ones who approached DMTN in the first place.
READ: "The agreement to transact the private purchase of all DMTN issued and outstanding stock for .49 USD has been approved by the D Mecatronics board of directors and also the purchaser's board of directors, ' said Mr. Paolucci.
Honestly, how many times are you going to keep posting the same "concern", which is clearly answered by the company, and stated in black and white?
I think you're wrong. The buyout is for "ALL OUTSTANDING SHARES"
Furthermore,``Upon receiving shareholder approval of the buyout we intend to issue instructions to shareholders on how to proceed to turn in their stock. Certificates should be exchanged for cash via electronic form or certificate form.''
I'm not pointing the finger at you personally...but I do believe there are a few people here trying to spread fear and doubt in order to satisfy their own personal gains.
bagfull
I respectfully ask, why do you keep posting about a counter offer?
What leads you to believe this?
I basing my beliefs on what they're saying in their prs.
That 1, their shares are restricted, and 2, the deal is done.
If what they saying isn't true, they'll be facing far more than a slap on the wrist by the SEC....it would constitute jail time...and any money they make would be confiscated.
I just don't see them risking all that...although others have I know. Anyway, it's money I can afford to live without if I lose it here. All in all, I like the risk/reward.
