Really like the $ZGNX setup here

And find it a reckless abuse of power as well as a severe conflict of interest that Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) went on a personal crusade against Zogenix and Zohydro ER beginning in March when his daughter is the CEO of a competitor (Mylan Inc.) and Mylan was the second largest contributor to his campaign.
Well, in hindsight it would have been smarter to sell all my shares at .20+ back when they were trading there...but I've always said I'm here for full commercialization of their products, and that still holds true.
So- adding here today and have some low bids in in case there's a big dump at the close.
yes, I think everyone thought commercialization would be further along.
I've pretty much stayed out of SGLB for the last few months- sold my trading shares.
Still have initial long term position from lower levels and I just picked up another 50k at .0675. Will probably add a few more before the close.
Here's to a better 2015!

When any CEO buys in the open market with more than just "token" buys, I like it.
Agreed on Arcam.
By far the strongest organic growth of the pure plays...in a very strong aerospace and medical metals niche...likely to report a record Q4...and the stock gets no respect.

$ZGNX. Did some quick due diligence and like this one also.
Have to think shorts will be covering their ZGNX as PDUFA nears so it could get interesting when combined with buying pressure.
MicrocapResearch.com has initiated a position in $ZGNX at $1.30
Full report to follow-
$RMTI yep. Amazing how it held that $8.10 support level for so long, even as market was tanking a few weeks back. Now it's clearly putting in higher lows and higher highs- even as market is down today. With January PDUFA catalyst it could get exciting!
Agree- DDD is one of the most unpopular/heavily shorted stocks out there and I don't see it bouncing back strongly in the next few weeks. They have to have strong Q4 with strong 2015 guidance to really get shares moving higher.
I bought DDD heavily after Q3 was announced and then sold for a small loss when key support levels broke. I did buy some SSYS options that I flipped for some gains- but it's been brutal in this space for the last few months- heck for all of 2014 basically, as we all know. If I hadn't started investing in biotech/pharma stocks a few months back I can only imagine how much my account balance would have shrunk.
I think 3DP stocks will recover next year, but not to former highs of 2014- not for any of them with maybe one or two exceptions.
Just my unsolicited opinion.
Agree completely on transparency of course.
re: SRNE- I think it's not only a big investment from Soon-Shiong that's got people's attention, it's the fact that this was described as an "initial" investment, and his privately-held company, Natworks and Sorrento will be launching a JV.
He's a bit of a showman of course, but he did develop Abraxane and sold it to Celgene for $2.9 billion as many know.
Despite the recent bump on SRNE shares, market cap is small at $350 million- compared to JUNO's $4.1 billion. With the JV launch next year, I think SRNE could be an easy double and would buy it before JUNO for example at current prices. Based on today's share price action in JUNO vs. SRNE, I'd say I'm not alone.
re: "How can one trust the financials?"
That's a great question when it comes to Chinese stocks- from microcaps to large caps, I went through the land mine of these stocks in 2008-2011- even had a boutique IR firm called China Growth Partners see Bloomberg
After first-hand experience in meeting with management of some of these Chinese companies, I don't trust any of them any farther than I can throw them.
The fact is, even if their numbers are real (and in some cases of course, they are), there are still too many other great investments out there that both employ Americans and have financials I can trust more readily.
Since this is a Biotech board, I'd like to call attention to one stock, SRNE, that loooks like it could be the next JUNO.
I wrote about it on my new site if interested:
http://microcapresearch.com/sorrento-therapeutics/
$4 billion + market cap now in $JUNO however...
Going forward I like SRNE which has also been trading strong (up again today) and has a mere $400 million market cap with a big recent investment from Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong, one of the richest men in the U.S. and a disruptive innovator in immunotherapy.
had some fill at $1.30 today to average up a bit.
If it hits low $1.20s I'll buy more- I think shares regain footing in January as new patients are added in clinical trials.
Non-3D Printing Stocks on my new site @ MicrocapResearch.com
I've launched a new, FREE site at MicrocapResearch.com
I hope you guys and gals might check out. Did I say it's free?
Did a soft launch in second week of December. First 3 picks are all up with average gain of 18% as of today's close.
With my partner, I'll be focusing on small and microcap stocks that are fully SEC compliant- no pinks/junk/trash stocks. We'll be targeting stocks with positive forward events within 30-60 day time frames. Market caps will generally range from $100 million (absolute minimum) to $700 million.
Will be heavy in health care/biotech/pharma stocks as this is an area I know/understand from my former career in health care administration.
Anyway- please check it out- and would appreciate any feedback on site appearance as we're still tweaking it here and there.
(Did I say it's free?)
Thanks in advance for giving it a look!
Gary
EDAP- it could double/triple from here, no doubt.
Especially now that I sold for a small, quick gain, lol.
And by the way, thank you for pointing it out.
$EDAP- sold for 12% gain.
Not going to get greedy and took the base hit.
Over the longer term, I agree.
But by Wednesday @supertrades will be selling- and stock is still thinly traded...so I'd expect to see a pullback from whatever high it reaches in the next 48 hours.
JMO
I saw that- I just hopped in for a quickie trade.
@super_trades is good for a 2 day run-up...he'll tweet 20X/day on TRIL now, lol.
Then he sells, his followers dump and stock craters.

$RMTI up in premarket. Traded over $9 briefly
Premarket Volume shows 22,400 on Interactive Brokers but only 2,000 on Fidelity- don't know which is more accurate.
No news or SEC filing I can find.
They're on twitter now also: https://twitter.com/BlackMagic_3D
So- I'm pretty sure BlackMagic3D.com will be the storefront for graphene-enhanced filaments when they begin sales in the next few weeks.
Phone # on contact page (631) 405-5116 is Graphene 3D Lab.
Anyway, looking forward to seeing the the graphene filaments!

This was sent to me this morning from a friend in Germany who writes about 3D printing stocks.

Google Translate:
over the Christmas holidays I was not idle in terms of research. This to me very important information in advance are noticed which are not yet publicly known. This is the share of Graphene 3D Lab. As you know , I was expecting an abundance of good news of the small company in the field of 3D printing . Here are emphasizing the Filamentverkäufe for 3D printers, especially the electrically conductive filament produced themselves. My simple thought that as soon as the Graphene sold 3D Lab own filaments , the company generates revenues . As a result, new and other investors pay attention to the company . Thus, the share should be able to rise again at least in the course area between 1.50-1.80 CAD. Whether this is so , of course I do not know.
So back to my research. I had mentioned more often that the Graphene 3D Lab is open your own online store to sell filaments. On November 25, Graphene 3D Lab was the collaboration with the famous filament manufacturer Taulman 3D known, see here . In this context, I have thoroughly researched and am found it. Features fell into my fingers :
The website offers Blackmagic3d.com filaments at for 3D printing . There are filaments by the manufacturer and Taulman own filaments with the label imprint " Black Magic 3D " . The website seems to be only in construction. I have now looked upon whom the website is registered. Whois.com are following registrate price:

re: Graphene 3D Lab $GGG.V / $GPHBF
This is a Graphene + 3D printing stock that will be launching graphene filaments for 3D printers (ones already on the market) in Q1.
Good video overview of company here:
Not sure I agree that this is a time to avoid 3D printing microcaps...at least not all of them.
In fact, I think this is the perfect time to start or add to a position in Graphene 3D Lab.
1. GGG.V is still up 50% from the close of first day trading on August 11.
There is no other 3D printing stock large or small (including Renishaw) that's up 50% over the last 4 months. Shares in GGG.V are down of course from recent highs, but that decline took place in November-December when the entire space was being thrown out.
2. The "January effect" whereby small and microcap stocks historically outperform will be starting up soon. This is a well-documented trend- no guarantees it happens this year, but I wouldn't bet against it.
3. Most significantly, GGG.V/GPHBF will be launching their graphene filaments for existing 3D printers in Q1. Going from R&D to revenue generation and being first to commercialize (on a large scale) graphene-enhanced filaments should bring the company a lot of good press.
4. Only the more speculative folks like us buy stocks that have no revenue. But once the turn is made to revenue generation, it opens the doors to a much larger pool of investors.
I have all public pure plan and some mixed revenue 3D printing stocks listed on the sidebar of my site http://3dprintingstocks.com/
If you put the ticker into the search box on the upper right of the page, you'll find related articles to those stocks. i don't write as much about the big companies (DDD, SSYS)- I prefer the smaller, lesser known plays that few know about yet. Hope that helps.
An interesting play in titanium powders is Pyrogenesis.
It's a penny stock- PYRNF / PYR.V (Toronto Exchange) with very low volume.
If you look at their press releases of recent orders, they should have strong revenue growth...if what they're reporting is accurate. I own a few shares of it as a lotto pick.
re: materials- GGG.V/GPHBF will be launching sales of their graphene-enhanced filaments in Q1- and I think with that the stock will be a mover again as a new investor pool joins the company. It's still up 50% from the first day of trading- during a period when all other 3D printing stocks have gone down strongly. The transition from no revenue to actual sales (plus their planned acquisition of a 3D printer manufacturer) should move the stock in January.
I put an update out on it yesterday if you're interested @
https://3dprintingstocks.com/3d-printing-stock-graphene/
I've met with the management and key investors of this company- they're legit and I believe they'll either be bought out, or have a JV with a major 3D printing company at some point. Uplisting to Nasdaq is a probability within 2 years.
WOW! It's like Santa came a day late here!
Let's hope this portends a change in direction for 2015!
Hi Mick
The short answer is no.
Most 3D printing companies are focused in various niche areas of 3D printing. Some are 3d printing service bureaus, some manufacture printers that are targeted to consumers, some manufacture enterprise-grade systems. 3D Systems (DDD) and Stratasys (SSYS) sell printers for both markets.
But none of them make a printer that can print almost anything- materials are still limited, but growing fast.
I think one day there will be a printer that can print in multiple plastics, metals, ceramics, glass, and in multiple colors via multiple print heads simultaneously. That day isn't close- but it will come.
I hope that answered your question.
$KBIO ...interesting
Trading at about their cash/share level.
