hi all,
Hoping you could shed some light, never really come across something like this. The stock "MKD" on Nasdaq, the volume for these few days have been out of the chart:
Jan 12 volume - 18 million
Jan 13 volume - 11 million
(average daily avg have been less than a million)
Yet, the price moved by pennies, SP currently sitting at ~ $0.82, so no, it is not a penny stock. Is this manipulation at the max!? I know this is most likely a China shady stock, but just do not understand the volume movement (usually there is a price movement to one way or another with these kind of moves?)
Thank you.
FYI re cost saving initiatives -
1) it won't impact the agriculture plastic collection program (they are working on densification solutions for pre-processing as disclosed in conference call)
2) the partnership mentioned refers to the same colour company
Anybody know what happened to "hanging out"? (If you know what I mean, please pm me, thanks much!)
I don't quite look at it this way. The only tide I see is the share price (up and down) which is all that matters. However, I don't quite see this as a belief issue but more of a startup production issue. The company has a machine and does it produce fuel? Yes. Currently, it's not producing at the rate it is capable of due to the petcoke bottleneck but they are still producing at a respectible rate given that they don't have to shut down the machine.
Not sure if it helps (or to make myself feel better?) but compare this to any junior producing miners. There are ALWAYS hick ups during initial commercial production. Leech pad, water issues etc. They are producting silver/gold but not at expected rate but issues will eventually be resolved.
Comment on JBII
Posters have expressed concern regarding transparency etc. I don’t believe that is the case as the current issue JBII is facing which was discussed at the AGM is petcoke removal. I have received a response from IR and he was very helpful in answering questions. Basically, I get the sense that yes, petcoke is a problem but, they are working on it relentlessly and just like other issues they have experienced, will be resolved soon. To keep things in perspective:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Quoted from IR’s response:
The petcoke removal has evolved significantly from processor 1, where it was done manually to
-> processor 2, where it is an automated process (no climbing inside the reactor) where we have to stop feeding but don't have to take the machine down (temperature wise) to
-> processor 3, where we hope to be able to feed plastic WHILE backing out petcoke. Hope that clears things up a bit.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IR mentioned that John and team has already engineered and designed a system to allow petcoke removal to happen while feeding for machine 3. It’s a matter of time to build/test. Remember this should not take that long as unlike the actual machine, it is only a sub-component.
I believe they have to ensure that this work seamlessly in order to mass produce machines. Haven’t said that, KR’s statement regarding Q1 is reasonable. It also serves as holding John accountable/committed to have machine related issues resolve by likely year-end so that they have time to build and place machines in Rocktenn site by March 31!
They are building machines and eventually, I think the automation of the petcoke removal will just be another component of the system (plug and play sort of?).
What a disappointment :(((....and than another 1/2 year of no activity....:(((
Hi, question regarding private placement hopefully some could help answer. If a company issue private placement of let say $10 million for 5 million shares as an example, would you see that 5 million shares in volume at the day when the transaction take place? Or It won't be shown in the daily volume as it's not really a "public" transaction.
Thanks in advance!!
Thanks. I like the story but want to also weight it from a TA perspective.
love the wording - significant :)
Mr. Bogolin’s cross-disciplinary background brings a valuable combination of operations and financial expertise to JBI as it moves into its first significant growth phase
Fourkids, don't know why I was able to send you a 1 word "hi" PM as I am a free user lol, didn't work after though. Do you mind sending me a pm of your email by chance? Thanks!
Thanks, will take a trip down for few days to go by these places (Orlando as well I guess).
Is it a good time to invest in real estate in the states now? Thinking of getting a place in Florida (Ft Myers or Sarasota)! A 1 bedroom condo is approx 70k+, thanks.
Not sure if it has been posted but the Annual AWMA/NYWEA presentation of JBII from yesterday has been posted:
The presentations in pdf form is available (can't linked directly to the PDF unfortunately):
go to www.gflawma.com => It's at the bottom of the Annual Seminar page, click on: "Shifting the Diversion Paradigm: Viewing Waste as an Economic Resource"
Hi, have a question related to Xeter (XRC) hopefully someone could help. They have 19M oz gold alone (30M equivalent with other) and a relatively low share count of 100M. Why have the price been trending down over the past few years? They are in a way similar to Vista gold with lots of resources and completed the initial pre-feasibility study with good NPV.
Thanks in advance!

TMM.TO (Timmins gold), sorry for not posting a chart as I am encountering problem with Stockcharts.
Aside from being a little over-bought, is there any chart pattern in this at all? I sold as I can't resist but wanted to see this from a technical perspective.
Thanks!
I don't trade as much as you guys do (into mostly resource stocks recently due to its volatility). For some reason, I find that simple TA works pretty well (I only know the basics) with resource stocks in Canada or I probably have more luck with it :).
Thanks.
Thank you!
The author made some strong allegations though, I am surprised that this could be posted without any consequence???
"it's likely the 2011 third quarterly report will have to be amended or restated at some point"
John will be presenting at a seminar organized by the Air & Waste Management Association:
"The Genesee Finger Lakes A&WMA/ New York Water Environment Association, Genesee Valley Chapter's 15th Annual Seminar will be held on February 15, 2012 at the RIT Inn and Conference Center."

Shifting the Diversion Paradigm: Viewing Waste as an Economic Resource
I think a lot of people are frustrated as machines 2 & 3 are not completed. To be fair though, I believe shareholders were told at the AGM that JBII is working to bring the company cashflow positive within 12 months. By that, I assumed that it means self sufficient to cover for opex.
Thanks much for sharing.
Hi, do you know if there are specific reasons as to why the 43-101 has not been released? (NI43-101 has pretty strict guideline unless the qualified person has issues which I doubt)
Haven't received a response from IR yet.
Added more today though.
I assumed "kilns" is the actual drum, I wonder if this is hinting that processor 2/3 will be completed in December?
"The Company expects to have the kilns from fabrication shops for processor #2 and #3 in Niagara Falls, NY by the time the final stack test is conducted in December 2011. Catalyst towers, heavy fuel, naptha and natural gas towers for both of these new machines have already been constructed."
Thanks Low, much appreciated.
Tour only for members unfortunately :(.
Thank you for your interest in the JBI tour. Unfortunately due to space constraints, reservations for the tour and dinner are only being accepted from existing members of the Air & Waste Management Association – Niagara Frontier Section.
I appreciate your understanding,
I think the company is executing well operationally:
- It has a proven process/product verified but reputable companies
- PIPEs to finance operations yet float is still tight
- Tight float indicates good use of capital
- Next step is to finance itself through production (completion of the next machine and selling more output). As the company has mentioned, to be cash positive
- Than focus on partnership/JV etc
Think they have a good implementation plan in place, just my 2 cents.
Hi, any thoughts on NWM? Float is pretty high at 420M which is why it's sitting at $0.12. They have 384k gold reserves in the 2 areas (La Jojoba and Lluvia de Oro) and has started production, with more upside potential on the exploration targets surrounding the 2 sites.
Thanks.
SilverCrest Declares Commercial Production at Santa Elena Mine; Pours 74,678 oz of Silver and 5,476 oz of Gold in Q2 2011
http://www.theglobeandmail.com/globe-investor/news-sources/?date=20110713&archive=ccnm&slug=201107130712425001
President of Silvercrest (July 05, 2011):
Yes, we have several important dates, but I
think probably the most important one is when we declare
commercial production on the Santa Elena gold and silver
mine that we’ve put into production in the last year or so
and we expect that to happen in the next week or ten days.

Hopefully they will reach Commerical production status soon, that could definitely drive up the share price. As well, they are expanding Santa Elena which hopefully will increase the estimated reserve.
