hi all,

Hoping you could shed some light, never really come across something like this. The stock "MKD" on Nasdaq, the volume for these few days have been out of the chart:

Jan 12 volume - 18 million
Jan 13 volume - 11 million

(average daily avg have been less than a million)

Yet, the price moved by pennies, SP currently sitting at ~ $0.82, so no, it is not a penny stock. Is this manipulation at the max!? I know this is most likely a China shady stock, but just do not understand the volume movement (usually there is a price movement to one way or another with these kind of moves?)
