There appears to be 2 schools of thought (very little paper evidence)
1.) A man with many titles: Kurlander and a company called Securus Renewable Energy. I thought I had tracked Securus to a O&G company in Texas. I can't find that link now. The pump is that this company may be buying a shell and will do a R/M to be able to sell more shares to raise investment capital.
2.) The old J. Smuda and another one of his "intent to acquire" news hypes on October 4th to purchase transportation assets i n SoCal. The stock price supports the facts that these declarations by Smuda and OPLO never materialize into anything.
Good luck to the longs that were in OPLO in 2005
The nice thing is at least we will not see any more "letters of intent" from Smuda. What a scam....by any measure! I guess he could buy arrow trucking now!
It looked like the Energy company participated for 1% in a marginal Barnett Shale well in the DFW area. 40$/month cash flow? I hope this is not the big name change/merger/rm candidate.
Any body know anything about this kid in Vegas buying shares out of his Mom's basement? Seems pretty fishy there hasn't been any announcement if it were anything bigger. The float seems to be slowing dwindling...including Smuda's holdings!
Be patient! Other than throwing out some fluff pr about a distribution agreement in of all places Italy, nothing has really happened. Everything is about Asia, India, and the US. So, until the trials are completed and something good comes out about them, the market would say that this is a $.28 stock.
The US distribution deal is the announcement that kicks this above $.50 overnight. The actual sales report sends it over $1. If the US physicians accept this device, we will be bought out. JMO
Ky,
Strange that we have nor seen a spike in price related the news? The market is off...but this is what most folks have been waiting for. Perhaps it will start to move when the product is distrbuted and the first sales begin. Or, perhaps it will come when the first distribution deal is announced for the US market?
Why hasn't this been picked up by Business Wire? Was this only released in Naples?:(
I see this announcement as a double edge sword. It will take 60-90 days for an advertising campaign to be be created, pitched, and sold. Even if this a parallel path scenario, we still need positive feedback from clinical trails, manufacturing contracts signed and in hand, begin manufacturing, and have a distribution agreement.
We probably will not see first sales well into the first qtr. I don't know what I was thinking, but we will have a reverse split before we see any cash flow.
So, it is a positive pr with one more piece of the puzzle. It also establishes continue delays in the original time line and makes the summer pr stand out as being blatantly wrong.
Please weigh in if anyone has a different time line.
Ky, Good call! We had some very good volume today and it seems we have popped back above $.30 again. One can only hope that this is the result of the change in CEO and that an announcement about the clinical trails is not far off. But, I said that 3 months ago, so who knows what these guys are doing.
So what did Taub accomplish? Most of you guys have been touting Taub as the man that had the experience in launching new medical start-ups and had market cred. Unbeliveable that we have more turn over after a period in which they continue to miss timetables established in their press releases. Lets get a product out there...then tweak the lineup!
Today would be a good day to pick up some shares if you are patient and your brokerage account allows you to buy small blocks at reduced commission. I admit the action yesterday may have been a head fake...maybe not. Anything below $.30 is a good buy at this point, and the downside exposure to delays from the clinical trail for the softpap would be minimal.
Trading today, specifically the $-.06 price drop, appears to me to be mo-mo traders trying to exit from yesterdays volume surge. the MM doesn't appear to be too concerned about the spread..and trying to hold the pps to a narrower range.
If you haven't already established a position I would keep that finger on the safety. This thing is going to retrace on lower volume and a few retail flippers will bail. The release of the article is very plausable. Any significant news would have sent this thing over 1Mil shares.
volume seems kind of light to maintain the current pps. Unless there is some news that is pending, this should sell off back to support. Of course, I believed the last PR and said I would sell if they didn't hit their marks...so what do I know....
PRV...you have been noticeably absent in the last few days in regard to the reverse split. I have never participated in a successful R/S in over 10 years in the market, and I am quite skeptical with this recent move by CYCR. I fear that this will be a vehicle to make the company more valuable on paper, followed by further dilution. I would be interested in hearing your thoughts?
We have lift off! Hehehehe! Actually, just a pre-burn test of the primary thrusters. The launch sequence will begin shortly....
PRV...surprised the MM has any stock left to sell wihout putting any pressure on the ask. I can actually see the volume continuing to drop until the next rumor or "real" news. Can't wait for that day to arrive!
I vote for Bud. in fact, I would leave the bud in the cooler and would go right to the Shiraz. Too bad your not a paid member of the marketing effort....
It would be nice to get back the 200MA or @ $.42. This would represent the last valid support level prior to the dumping that took place earlier this month.
Glad to hear about your continued faith in the outcome. Care to share some of your friends comments?
Any truth to rrd's claim on Ragingbull that the clinicians and patients are rejecting the e2? He mentions several oby/gen message boards that have have had several posts stating that the device isn't an improvement over existing techniques and is more expensive to patients?
Any thoughts on the infusion of equity for Diamics? Brings out the fact that we appear to be stuck in the technical fog and can't move forward. Still waiting on the pre-announced time table...it had better be accurate or we are going to be sucking on sell orders and it will not be pretty!
The CNBC site is still a little confusing. The big three hitters in the 5% group (Monsun, SGH, & BSI) are reported to own 77mil shares, or 22% (well above 5%)of total 343mil outstanding. Cnbc reports a 90mil float, which I assume includes 77mil or doesn't it? Are these 77 mil shares "special" or have they been purchased at retail?
I thought we would see some follow thru from Friday...but we ae back to low volume dumping/accumulatiojn depending on your point of view. All I can say is that is is good to finally be in July and the clock is ticking...
PRV...Your market savy is much appreciated on this board and it would be a significant loss if you stopped contributing your feedback on cycr and other stocks. Too many good plays out there to do all the research, and a second pair of eyes (several pairs on this board) mean everything to finding quality companies. Thanks again for all your advice!
You guys were right today! Yahoo finance does not have the institutional ownership and the dropping pps was perplexing. I tried to add another 50,000 at $.35 all week and finally settled on 20,000 at $.36. Even the money flow is so subtle that I had to look twice to see that it was positive for the last few days. I believe in the cycr team (not the first time a good team has gone bust on me). ~Cheers
Too bad the message doesn't appear to be reaching institutions and analysts! The volume has really dried up since the last push...
Ky, According to their last pr I propose the following path to sales....so the only thing remianing if this unfolds is the distribution news, and I believe it would be made after The final design clearance from the FDA?
FDA application summer (now to Aug. 31)
clearance by FDA shortly after (Sept.30)
Production and sales start in fall (Sept 30 to Nov.30)
This is 90 days away! Thoughts?
Utter...good time to buy today when the bottem dropped out and someone decided to get out. Looks like it has recovered back to low volume support. The weakness is just below the surface and I can imagine we will have days where it drops down to take out stops and to accumulate. I still think we will se the low $.30's as the time line in the latest pr produces results.
Twogreen...let me chime inon this. There is no requirement from the SEC to hold these meetings. They are optional, and are really for the money managers, lenders, analysts more than for the stock holders. JMO
PRV...what gets under my skin is not the "looking forward" approach but the effect the missleading pr's have on the reputation of our company and product. Not to mention, without a significant retraction from the may 12th (date?) that specified the date and length of the trials, could be in store for a class action suit. Stock was bought and sold based on the information presented in this pr and if they were wrong, or the trail is delayed, they need to at the minimum correct the time line.
Yes, the e2 is not the only option. It is, hwoever, the nearest thing to being approved and distributed for cash money. Just do what you say in the time frame you say it. If things get delayed or change, tell us! We are big boys and can handle the truth....JMO
PRVB, KyI....Long time reader, first time poster! Excellent posts over the past few months and I thought that it was time to step out of the shadows to express my thanks. I feel that it would be a mistake to "give in" to the naysayers and pull back from a well respected position of insight and credibility! Not that fewer posts or posts related to technical analysis of the trading patterns would change most opinions on this board! I am speaking about the overall reputation that both of you have built and I would submit to both of you that there are many readers like my self that appreciate your efforts, and if need be, will take a more participatory role to insure that you are reminded on a weekely basis that there are 3X as many supporters vs critics.
The OTC is littered with start-ups and/or companys that continue to go bust or are re-born along the way. The reasons for my ownership is fundamental on the product and management. My knowledge on CYCR is based for the most part on your comments and my follow-up DD.
Of course, you have to follow your hearts on this matter and I wish both of you all the best in your future endeavors. It is now up to CYCR's management to fullfill our expectations and deliver a product or process that rewards our financial support.
