NCTI Amazing
Just loved the recent filing...probably convinced those who look backwards to sell...great day to be a contrarian.
Anyone Watching ENGY?
Or am I the only one?
With No News or Promotion....Who's Buying?
On July 18 some rather startling news came out via an 8K announcing the resignation of Enviro-Energy Corporation's CEO/CFO/Director Bowers.
From July 21 to present inclusive I calculate that over 100,000,000 shares are reported as having been traded in ENGY. The price per share has been in a range of .005 to .015 or thereabouts during this time frame.
I haven't come across anything that suggests to me that ENGY is trying to gain the attention of investors...about the closest thing to promotion I've come across is some CRG PRs that mention ENGY, but they only came out after Oct. 20th when volume spiked up to over 19 million on that one day.
Is ENGY undergoing accumulation? If one wants to buy low there must also be others willing to sell low. I can see how the lack of news and that July 18K may have convinced some to sell, not to mention the dip to below 1/2 a cent per share just before that big volume spike.
But it seems to me that there has been more than enough buy side interest to off set any selling going on. Hopefully the buying that has been going on the past few months portends something positive that will give investors reason to be bullish here.
If it doesn't happen...well that's the risk reward game in my opinion. Take note that I am a shareholder so my opinions should be viewed in that light. I do consider there to be a very real possibility that I may lose some or all of my investment. Do your own DD and best of luck regardless of what conclusions you reach.
ENGY A Contrarian View...
Following are my opinions of ENGY.OB, please note that I am a shareholder and as such my views and opinions should be considered in that light. I consider ENGY highly speculative with very real potential for loss. Perform your own due dilligence and if in doubt consult with a professional....
Most times I only hear about a stock trading at or near its highs...that's when they are most often touted. I prefer to buy low...but stocks trading at or near their lows tend not to be getting alot of attention. The IDNWs and DTMGs of the OTC world weren't getting much (if any exposure) back when they were trading at or near their lows...but somebody was buying them when they were down there.
Will ENGY eventually garner some attention and the favor of investors? I don't know for sure, but I'll share the reasons why I consider it a possibility.
Back on June of this past year the CEO/CFO/Director of ENGY resigned. Read the appended letter of resignation dated June 5th 2003 from this July 18 8K filing while looking at a chart covering that time frame.
http://secfilings.nasdaq.com/filingFrameset.asp?FileName=0001052918%2D03%2D000177%2Etxt&FilePath....
In the appended letter of resignation some very strong wording was used, including:
"It is my opinion that the shareholders of Enviro-Energy Corporation are being ignored in the pending transactions. I also believe that these pending actions are in part being taken to cover up illegal acts by control people within the Company."
How did this affect the trading of ENGY back on and around June 5th? Not much it would seem...I show the share price being stuck right around .009 to .011 cents per share...pretty much where it is today.
Of course the filing didn't come out until July 18th, however I assume there must have been at least some shareholders who were aware of the departure of the company's CEO.
After the filing the stock traded downward on very light volume. When the 8K was filed July 18th I show 20 day average volume at about 1.4 million per day. By the beginning of October I show 20 day average volume all the way down to around 250-300K.
On Oct. 16 and 17 my numbers show ENGY as having traded below 1/2 a penny. Then on Monday Oct 20 my numbers show over 19,000,000 shares trading and the PPS going up almost to a full cent. What caused this sudden spike in volume? I still don't know, I saw no news, promotion or trading alerts at all. I'm speculating that buyers rushed in and possibly took out every outstanding limit order on the books for some reason...but that is mere speculation.
The recent trading has been very curious as well in my opinion. While some might have been worried about the notification of late filing on November 14 it sure didn't slow down buying as evidenced by the trading that day.
They did file their Quarterly on November 20, and the numbers were less than spectacular...but I wasn't expecting much from a stock trading around a penny. Besides those numbers are for the July - September 2003 time period and that is in the past. I'm hoping that my opinion of the trading pattern here portends something positive coming in the future.
I'd appreciate hearing any and all thoughts, both fer and agin. As I said, this is very speculative and I've only invested risk capital. I consider it a very real possibility that I may lose some or all of my investment.

What Happened to my post on ENGY?

Rueliitt Re USXP 'Press Release?'...
This looks very very very fishy to me. Could someone actually be THAT desperate??? JMHO, but if its proven to be FAKE, then look out, IMO USXP could very well pop in a major way....
I've never given USXP any serious consideration due to all the promotional effort behind the company...That's not to say they aren't in earnest, but once bitten....
I've heard the market game referred to as war...and in war they say believe 1/2 of what you read and none of what you hear. If you're holding shares and this is proven to be a fake then I don't think you'll ever see more buy side interest...might be a good time to sell.
MartyMan re engy...
You wouldn't draw up one of dem dare real purdy charts for engy woodja? Today kind of took me by surprise, I thought there'd be another day of consolidation and then forward movement Monday....
Ah well, I don't mind being wrong in cases like this.
Check out the change to ENGY's I-Hub Board...
http://www.investorshub.com/boards/board.asp?board_id=1024
It used to have that nice big description...you know, pretty bullish with a nice description of the company's business plan, links...
Big change now eh?
If ther's no Press and no Promotion...
I wouldn't sweat it, but that's just my opinion...people can get jittery when filings are late...and bullish buyers need bearish sellers.
We all can't be buying and then selling at the same time now can we? That'd look like a football game with both teams lined up on the same side of the ball.
Does CLSY have new or promotion going on?
Somebody might be selling into it if there is.
ENGY Ask to .010 Leaving sub penny land again?
No news, no promotion...well there was the imo lousy 10Q
reverse that...
dang just 2 posts left today
ENGY starting to move? 0.009 bid .0085 ask .0091
OTC they don't have the inventory imo
Better for MMs to see where the action is lining up than to be caught by surprise, better for them that is. ENGY would've shot up like a rocket, but they've filled orders for me at Market. Actually I've never had one not go thru at the full amount at the lowest ask.
ledrog saving his last 4 posts
disagree bb_stock...
I think that's what they'd like us to think...I read it in an online article...
I doubt MMs like Market Orders...
Especially OTC...let's say they're the lowest ask at .01 and they get hit with an market order for 100K.
I guess they could fill 5,000 then pass it up the line, but brokers might stop coming to them for fills imo...brokers want fast fills too. With limit orders I assume its up to the MMs and not the broker.
I've used market orders on DTMG and IDNW, and now on ENGY...(also on NCTI but its doing nothing so far)...
I may come across as Mr ENGY, but I was mr IDNW when it was around .0055...and mr DTMG when it was down around 2 pennies.
ledrog refugee from RB
You can with E*Trade Canada...
I'm in Ont fellow hosers...only have 7 posts left after this so i might slow down a bit.
I use market orders hack...
And for much more than 5K when buying...I've never had a problem getting a fill at the lowest ask. I assume MMs don't want to pass the order up the line fearful that large brokerages might go elsewhere for fills.
Is E*trade having probs again?
I show volume of 500K or so on E*Trade while otcbb.com has it at over 1.5 mill????
MartyMan RE GONT...
Cut and paste from my email:
GONT .021 -.001 Watching closely... if the market picks up, this one could go again.
They do this on about 15 or so stocks a day, with alot being repeats. I assume its gotta be good exposure...they disclaim any responsibility etc and say they don't own any of the stocks mentioned.
I'd just like to know what stocks are gonna be profiled before they are...I wonder is anyone does
If ENGY ever makes the list...well you can probably guess what I'll be looking to do.
No subs in my hotstockchat.com email
GONT though is close...
NITE on both Bid and Ask on ENGY.OB...
I've seen this a few times...any thoughts?
kodiak...
I'm somewhat suprised today...I thought there might be some more downward pressure. Regardless volume appears to be the friend of ENGY holders at this juncture.
ENGY ask up to .009 volume up to 500K
Wish me luck...
ENGY Volume Almost Non-Existent...
6,000 last I checked...actually I'm surprised that 20 day avg vol is up as high as it is...around 1.5 million.
Assuming volume picks up will the trend continue? Looks to me like bears vs bulls...and in this market I like what side my money is on.
ENGY...Possible Double Bottom?
Do your own DD...lots of risk, and I am invested so my comment should be viewed in that light.
Don't see any efforts at promotion going on, but if you come across any I'd appreciate it if you'd post it to I-hub's ENGY board:
http://www.investorshub.com/boards/board.asp?board_id=1024
BTW I do know about CRG's opinions following the volume spike on Oct. 20/03.
Some Numbers...
According to the profile at octbb.com ENGY has outstanding shares of 261,948,099 and 300,000,000 authorized.
http://www.otcbb.com/profiles/ENGY.htm
The just released 10QSB covers the 1/4 ended September 30, 2003. On the last trading day of Sepember I show the PPS as closing at .006 with 20 day average volume at that time being about 265,000
From Oct. 1 to present inclusive my numbers show over 94,000,000 shares trading or 36% of the outstanding share count. And the PPS closed today at .008 with 20 day average volume up to over 1,500,000 according to my numbers.
News Item with mention of ENGY:
Its the same ol' short selling story:
http://www.smallcapcentre.com/snapshot_news.asp?page2=shownewsrelease&oldpage2=&ticker=ENGY&...
Recent price volume movement...
I show the closing price at .009 on November 13, 2003
On November 14, I show the price closing @0.01 on volume of 8,606,500 and on November 17 I have the PPS climbing to 0.012 at the close on volume of 3,693,936
On November 18, 19 and 20 I show the price closing at 0.0095 then 0.0085 and then 0.008 on volumes of 2,364,045 and 1,648,600 and then 1,502,200 respectively.
Cummulative volume during this 5 day period I calculate as 17,815,281 with 12,300,436 shares trading on days the PPS closed up from the previous day and 5,514,845 on days when the PPS closed down from the previous day.
I've never tried it...
And don't know of anyone who has so its a moot point by and large...but moot points can be fun.
Wouldn't that kind of buying activity prompt some kind of investigation...even on the OTC?
average investors...
Don't own 5% or more of the float...
Gawd no marty...
And that wasn't my intent in posting the link. I put it up in case any were interested in seeing what the company is about...I take it as a basic assumption that all information that is publicly available is already priced into the PPS.
To be quite honest the company's fundamentals are no bed of roses...but then it is trading under a penny after all.
Appreciate you drawing up the chart for it with your opinions.
plus Beneficial Ownership would have to be filed...
Don't think it realistically happens...
Marty...
Its my only sub .02 stock...and I didn't get my hotstockchat email today, I was gonna post any that were mentioned.
As much as it may bug one person here...I'm very bullish on ENGY based strictly on the Price volume movements (OBV)...I wouldn't be nearly as bullish if there was news out or promotion...but I still don't see any.
IMO promotion clouds the technical picture. I look for evidence of accumulation...but not Joe Six pack accumulation if you know what I mean.
ENGY website still unavailable...but
If you want to look at other than the homepage:
http://www.enviro-energycorp.com/photos.html
If recent history is any gauge...
Then the PPS isn't going to make any serious move until we get some better volume...here's hoping the trend continues
ENGY spread widening .0077 vs .0085
I wasn't expecting much...
Not from a company trading under a penny Anyway those results I assume to be already priced into the current valuation.
