here's a cartoon that applies:

hmmm me thinks if it was a jewel there'd be more interest. I'm down 65% in one week on this thing. Uck.
It seems the only interest in it is coming from this board.
What exactly is the effect of being off the SHO list? I was never clear on this.
well we're back at the resistance point from the last few days...let's see what happens here
I think they'd care. They're kind of obligated too....DPDW may not be a large company but violations are violations.
I'm just royally pissed I misjudged where the floor was. I thought there was NO way we'd see anything below .60 again. Grrr. I would've waited to load up. I get impatient sometimes when it comes to purchasing timing.
great post rhinoman712. I personally figured the floor was around .69 or .70...so I bought a bunch more there...and it looks like another freefall back to .40 may be occurring. Not good times, especially for anyone who wanted a short/medium term hold out of this. However all's well that ends well so hopefully we eventually get back to a couple dollars even. I'd be happy with that.
nice.....so are we the only few people actually buying this thing? That'd be kind of funny :P
agreed.
When I first got into this in June (or maybe it was May) of 2007 I thought it would be a 9 month - 1 year hold, and here I am 14 months later, down 50%. I'd be down 80% if not for averaging down along the way.
Good news, bad news, at this point I don't care as long as the price gets back up.
I'm hoping they also mention an uplisting, or at least what the plans are, or an update on what's in store.
have you contacted any authorities? I'd be curious as to how they would reply.
I'm still not clear on how this got pushed so easily below .70 I thought there'd be a bit more resistance, with all those shares bought at that level.
if this thing drops to a dime I'll jump off my roof.
Well you have to consider who's on this board. It's mostly (all?) shareholders in the company. We're not going to say 'uht oh looks like we got a turd on our hands.'
The COMPANY is great, this stock...well it's not inline with the company. Those that are holding are anticipating that the stock itself will eventually line itself up with the great company that it represents. If I had it to do all over again I wouldn't buy a single share over about .70. Instead I'm at an average of 1.35. If you look at the charts you can see the quick run-ups we have...and then the slow bleeds afterward. I wish I had gotten in at the bottom of one of those bleeds instead of near the peak of one of the runs. It's all about where you start. There are people here who were in when this thing was mere pennies.
darnit darnit darnit I bought in at almost 8. No idea why, I never buy in at/near highs for the month. I'm hoping to break even on this one at some point in the next month.
well given the recent down trend :P
I honestly don't get hung up too much on the day to day price anymore. I was just about pulling my hair out when I would do that. Now I just pay attention after earnings, and at week's end to see how much it gained/lost over the week.
I actually don't remember ever seeing that big of a discrepancy in the B/A ratio though, at least with DPDW
eh...Someone says that everytime we get this low :)
btw, anyone notice the B/A size this morning? 2500x24900 right now.
Yeah I'm kind of sorry I jumped in on that one. I honestly can't even remember WHY I did in the first place, which is usually an ominous portent.
Thoughts on PINR?
I had seen it mentioned here earlier this week...hasn't really done anything, and the company seems semi-shady. Dump it & forget it, or hold for now?
hmm is this ominous?
are you saying if I put a sell in at .80 it might get filled? :P
About what's the target here for this run, if it continues into next week? .015 or so?
About what's the target here for this run, if it continues into next week? .015 or so?
maybe I'll stay in then....lol you're not getting my shares so easily!
What's the target here? .015 or so?
can we get a screen shot please??
holy moly! It's hard to resist selling right now, I'm at a 100% profit.
What can we do, as shareholders, to encourage an uplisting to AMEX, if there is anything? I keep seeing the same trends, patterns, and predictions here over and over. I'm not being negative, but let's call it as it is: We're not going anywhere until we hit AMEX. I remember back in the spring there plenty of people here saying "we'll hit 1.50 by August because of reasons XYZ" and then XYZ or whatever happens, and we stay stagnant, or drop. Now Deep Down may be a great company ( I believe it is or I wouldn't have any shares in it), but as long as MMs are able to have free reign we're not going to be hitting 1.50 or anything like that anytime soon. So rather than sit around and watch this thing get bled (I'm dreading earnings, not because I think they'll be bad, but because if that doesn't give us a shot in the leg, nothing will) why don't we put together some sort of plan, or statement requesting that the company look into uplisting? Any ideas?
I've never actually been in on something like this before...how do you typically know when to unload? After you reach whatever preset profit you want (or loss you're willing to take)?
I'm in! I wonder what they have up their sleeves.
I love the money flow index on this, since the 23rd of July. Plus the stochastic shot up. Something's going down!
true, if you want to get in, then now would be the time
there's next to no volume on it though...2 million @ .003 yesterday...that's only 6000 dollars
Any recommendations for a short term play, like one week or so?
what's the rally for though? The actual nasdaq?
hahahha great reply...
what is this Dallas you speak of?
Hey I'm new here, is there anything that hasn't made a run yet that I could get in on?
well look at the MACD over the last 6 months, it's getting steadily better, which is what you want. No violent surges or drops, it's getting better and better slowly.
Also over the last 6 months the RSI is on the oversold side right now, along with a few other indicators. Basically where we are right now looks more like a starting point than a bad ending.
question: Has anyone called and asked if they intend to uplist at any point?
haha thanks man
:) Thanks! I'm not looking for a quick flip here, probably in the medium hold range!
yeah, definitely like this as a medium term hold!
