Evanstony... this board is amazing... the police here ensure shorts and longs play nice, but shorts can run down nonstop LP, LG, or whoever from NWBO, who are not here to defend themselves... amazing.
Nice to know where you stand... I will be voting yes....
GGB... I know this statement will not satisfy you, but do you not think LP already HAD the votes when she called for a vote??? Why do you think your call for info is a MUST for NWBO to get the added shares approved??? Also, you have heard this time and again: LP has much more skin in this than we do... she has severed her ties to Cognate and now NWBO is her only parachute... with all the shares she has, she sinks or swims with us longs, no matter what all the shorts here say... be patient until ASCO... she is playing with her cards held close... imho her hole cards are stronger than malt garlic... :)
Me neither... just adding as much as my limited resources will allow... barely over 615k at this point...
Tilt, my only regret is that I didn't wait until now to buy... I bought at $0.33 and $0.23, so now I have no more capital to buy with... oh well...
Fellow longs... take courage.
WHAT evidence have we been shown that this trial has failed??? Imho, this is a last ditch attempt by the shorts to lower the pps as much as possible between now and news of the peer reviewed article... so that when the article has been released, the increase in pps will only take the pps so high...l still believe...
"My fear is the vote doesn't pass and management won't be able to raise much-needed capital."
Brother Bohica.... just remember, all the shares represented on this board probably aren't 5% of the total purchased. Most of the BIG shareholders are strictly in NWBO's corner... I greatly believe all 3 proposals will be approved with flying colors...
Well... picked up an additional 36k+ shares at under $0.23... thank you shorties... :)
Thank you Hank... gonna buy more before the vote...
Do you know the deadline for the vote...???
"but when u pitch the same thing over and over you yourself really start to believe it and it gets easy"
Ha!!!! You should know... ;)
If you call Les (phone# above on this page), he will make sure it happens for you (really, no sarcasm intended)...
Yep, just transfered money into my ameritrade acct and look to trade maybe friday early... hope the shorts rally and do their job to drive this puppy even lower by then... :)
Yep, him and all the shorties on this board... I have never, ever seen a more clear NEGATIVE barometer of what all longs should do...
Pretty good guess, if you ask me... :)
"I still remember my college chemistry final taking me all 3 hours to complete. Had to work through 100 problems without shortcuts balancing out even multiple chemical combinations."
Was that biochem, Doc...??? You should have been in my electromagnetic physics class... a weed out class for Engineering majors. I was 1 of 107 in the class. Class average going into the final was 26/100. I failed the class with an earned 56 average. The instructor did not scale a point... 7 passed with ONE "A", and 2 each B's, C's, and D's... there were 100 F's...
Imho, the vote will preceed the peer reviewed article, and all proposals will pass... again jmho... :)
Hey beach...
One with a more positive outlook might be thinking of 2 phrases in response...
1. Fat tail...
2. ADDITIONAL home run...
GLTL...
A no vote hurts the company and our shares. Linda owning 100 million+ shares should give you more confidence than ever... her shares go up, so do ours... ours go down, so do hers... why loan and get paid in shares if her plan is to BK the company??? Makes NO sense...
Remember Dcvaxl and Dcvaxd will be doing combo trials in the future and cash will be needed to conduct these... that is what raising the number of shares is about... it is forward looking...
"But they need the article to be published to provide assurance to investors that trial has indeed moved in the right director, prior to asking for a vote."
They probably will have the vote in hand before they call for it, but would probably like to win by a large majority... I believe they will time the publication where it will do the most good for the sp, even if they have to wait until it is combined with other good news to get the sp rolling in the right direction...
Thank you for the clarification, flip...
I admit this is my 1st rodeo... :)
I think more than "a couple" of weeks... maybe a couple of months... and I believe it will occur after the shelf raise vote....
Flip, my belief is they will know they have the 'yes' in hand before they actually call for the vote...
Senti:
I have been convinced that getting the shelf raise approved and in the rear view mirror BEFORE the peer reviewed manuscript is better for the sp than publishing of the manuscript 1st and then calling for the increase...
"my 1.1 million shares average cost around $0.205."
My 580k shares at $0.3507 say "Kiss my butt..." :)
How so...???
I had concerns earlier and rightfully stated them on this board. I now no longer have those concerns... although I still feel the company should give the shareholders an update for our piece of mind, this issue will no longer affect my vote. I will vote yes with my roughly 580k shares... and not worry about how that vote will affect my investment...
Just because I recieved additional information does not mean I have any obligation to share that information, but it did change my mind wrt this vote... I told the truth... I will be voting yes.
After receiving additional information, and upon further reflection... I am voting yes, and recommending other longs to do likewise...
Marzan... it is not about being vindictive... it is about an expectation of being treated fairly...
"what make you think that they are still not at the doorstep of a journal abstract release and top line data?"
What statement has the company given the shareholders that would lead you to believe it is about to occur...??? What deadline has the company given to the shareholders that they have met...??? Where are we right now with phase lll and the peer reviewed article??? Even flipper44 said it is late... how is all this shit supposed to result in shareholder confidence of the mgt of NWBO...???
Doc, you KNOW I have always respected your opinion... and this post of yours is filled with logical conclusions, BUT, pardon me when I say that what you are saying IS TOTAL CONJECTURE (some might say total bs). The reality is we shareholders are being asked to ok an increase in shares, thereby diluting the shares we have already purchased, and we are being told by several posters on this board that a NO vote equals BK for NWBO. We have not been told SQUAT by the mgt at NWBO...
Don't you think the shareholders DESERVE some sort of update... some sort of news on the progress that has occurred before we vote???
I do... and so do many other honest, supportive people who have invested their hard earned money in this company... THAT is a reality, not conjecture...
It is the additional 250M shares that bother me... how much more time will that draw out this trial...??? Here I was thinking we are on the doorstep... how much longer do we have to wait until topline data is revealed, much less fda approval...???
Well said GGB...!!!
Look Marty, I'm no short... I just want a little info for my vote. How hard would it be to give the 'expected' release date of the article, or when they expect the phase lll to conclude...??? SOMETHING we can look forward to..
I was expecting this peer reviewed article in January... it is April...!!!
VuBru... my question was: Where is the evidence that a no vote= BK...????
Either answer my question, or at least address it, or quit saying a no vote = BK.
Truly, it is starting to feel like the shareholders are being sold a bag of goods by several posters here I am starting to trust less and less... not sure who to trust on this board now...
Please!!!! Someone please show me valid evidence where a no vote = BK.
You are telling me that LP and company do not have the resources to regroup, present some compelling info, and call for another vote after satisfying shareholders before they go BK??? I will need to see some big time info to convince me of that... you are saying LP has waited until their last cent is gone before calling for a "make or break" vote that she is unsure of the outcome??? Please, she is smarter than that...
IMHO, increasing the shelf is an indication that a r/s will not happen... if a r/s occurs at this point (so near the finish line), the investors will be royally screwed, and I will be ruined... not everyone has deep pockets to continually average down...
Totally agree, Bill, but I would add my view would change if we, at least, would get publishing of the P-R-A prior to the vote... give us SOMETHING!!!
While I don't believe we will ever see a r/s now that LP has over 100M shares, it will be interesting to see what happens in trading today... has the market already included this dilution into the sp??? I don't think so... buying opportunity if you still believe and have the greenbacks...
Tadasana... yes, I believe in the science, but I also believe in fair play... collectively, we have invested much in this company, and they owe us (again collectively) for their material existence... so I believe that us shareholders DESERVE at least some information on the end game here... we were promised a peer reviewed article... give us that, some good news to sustain us through this seemingly ENDLESS waiting period... I have been waiting over 3 years now, and have seen much of my investment dwindling down... I have that many shares because I have had to average down... now, we are being asked to dilute the shares we have... I say, give us a reason to do so... just don't expect us to dilute with no reason, other than we need more capital... guess what??? I need more capital also...
