Like I said before I only read that Q once and I can't remember everything I read in one go, but if you dig into the Q you will find something about it...

Yes I see it, thanks, I hadn't checked the website out yet. I only read one Q and stopped in my tracks when I saw the outdated info on OTC Markets. Maybe it would be better for the company if someone conveyed it to them that their info needs to be corrected, it doesn't instill cofidence if one finds incorrect info... GLTY

I haven't done much DD on this one but the things you mentioned were in the latest Q, where I noticed the 'horrid part too, except for that promo part of course.
The biggest reason for me to stop researching was the fact that I couldn't find accurate info about their transfer agent. I contacted the TA shown on OTC Markets but they said that HPGS wasn't in their terminal and they didn't know who the TA was for HPGS. Do you have that information handy?

There could have been lots of reasons why the July deal got deferred, and the 18th Nov will be the best gauge to see IF he is a genius or a crook... Its make or break time!
And Mongo, every start up company "struggles" in the beginning, thats easy picking... it needs time to form and to grow and that can be a painful process...

Its not been easy lately, and I can't defend the increase in the AS much, but the increase in the float must be the gifted shares that were added. If so, then we won't have to bother about that anymore! And it also implies that Matt didn't dilute. Of course, indirectly he did dilute by gifting shares, knowing that one day they would be added to the float...

So IF this scenario is true, two types of discussions of late can be eliminated; the one about those gifted shares to his friends, because they can sell them only once, lol, and if one were to believe the rhetoric on this board they have sold them a zillion times, so keep it real everyone!
And it eliminates the lies that Matt himself was diluting!

So many views, so many opinions, but only one truth, which will it be?!

Thanks for your reply, yes there were some eye catching numbers in the latest Q report, others were not so good, and I saw the conversion of debt in shares and other equity for shares, so it is something to monitor first before I go in. The biggest nay came from the outdated OTC info and the wrong TA info. I like to contact the TA first before I dig any deeper, do you have that, or anyone else handy?

Do you or someone else care to share what caused the sharp decline since June? Looking for some intelligent answers...

Ik probeer er wel rekening mee te houden maar soms is 't sterker dan mezelf en dan floep ik het eruit. All of the things we believed in are still on the table, its not because he increases the AS that everything went up in smoke. That is just unreasonable and way overdone, and the following panic reaction was even more exaggerated fueled by fear mongering!
Don't get me wrong, there is not a single soul who was happy with the increase in the AS, but there were 5 days between the CC and the "dooms day announcement", and if he had a golden opportunity to act fast or miss it, then one can't call him a liar (or worse).
He could have been perfectly honest during the CC, and since he isn't hiding after the event tells me has nothing to fear!!
Mark this post, the OS will never increase with a billion like some want you to believe, I would be surprised if he even sold half of that, and he can always convert a portion of that into preferreds or restricted shares as part of the acquisition deal.

This company has a lot to do to clean out their cost base, but there is also potential here and the recent insider buys seem to confirm that. Maybe its better to wait for the next Q in 2 to 3 weeks to see if there is any improvement. I just stumbled upon this one as early as this morning, so I need to do lots of digging to establish a long position. There could be short term catalysts that I don't know of but I'll wait and see what the next Q brings to the table... GLTY

Read the financial report, I just did and there is enough info that answers your question.

In all fairness that is still on!
We're in the fourth Q, we are still well within that 90 days range, and by years end this will be at 1.2 billion...
He didn't know on the 3th of Oct. that he would have to raise the AS for an acquisition, and as long as he realizes 1.2 AS by 31/12/2011 he is spot on target! Yes, one can argue that he said the AS would go down from 1.6 to 1.2, but it doesn't say that it can't be increased in the meantime, so its the end target that matters here! Maybe it would have been better if he hedged himself by stating, "this can change if we have unforseen circumstances'... (but what kind of drama would some cook of that?! lol)

I have seen so much distorted posts the last few days that everyone seems to boil up their own story. Some read the facts wrong and twist it to their own agenda, others are jumpy and want things to happen on their terms, some have becoming victime to paranoia due to the mass-hysteria and let their decisions dictate by emotions and the fear-mongering rhetoric, and almost everybody had way to high expectations etc etc etc... Including me!

But I refuse to spit in the soup I eat from, or shoot myself in the foot like some do... The ratio between the promises that are accomplished and the promises that need to be proven are still in our favor, and therefore we should give him a fair chance of proving himself before he gets a character assassination on a public forum trial... If not already!!

Re-read all the DD and try to make your own decisions based on that, just like you did before you bought... and then one should realize that all of those prospects are still there for all to see... Indeed lots of catalysts to come and please bear in mind that this is a slow incremental process with temporary setbacks along the way... $TOFS will make it, just not on your terms & conditions!! So don't be influenced by what the sneaky ones on message boards claim, because as one can clearly see they will say anything to steal your shares, no matter if they have to break the law to do that!!

This should be perceived as a mental reset for all the true supporters after the pink glasses most of us wore, and a mirror for yourself to see the misstakes you may have made in setting your goals and expectations. Ask yourself this "did he really lie or were you the one that only hears and sees what you wanted to"?There is nothing wrong with making misstakes as long as you learn from it. Just make sure you don't make them to often, lol

Hi YBA, welcome on board, but watch it dude this ship isn't stable (yet). I was a strong supporter for TOFS until he stabbed us with an increase of the AS, and a smaller increase of the OS & Float just a couple of days ago, while touting and pledging not to do so...

Having said that there is still big potential here, but it will take a while to unfold... (unless he releases a beast of a PR in the meanwhile)

He said the increase was to "bridge" between TOFS & RIGH and when RIGH is tradeable after the RM he will close that bridge and reduce the AS to 1.2 billion by years end... I had a few head scratchers before I understood what he meant with "bridge", but now I think he will dilute TOFS and raise money to buy equity from RIGH's and sell them when RIGH's has RM momo, and with the profits buy TOFS shares to reduce the SS...

Just my 2 cents...

The clock starts Dec. 31, 2010. This means we could have an announcement as early as tomorrow and as late as next June. The clue from the latest MD&A that some wafers have been commissioned hopefully means they are close to TRL 6-7 where system-specific devices are being prepared and demonstrated.
Now what I'd really like to know is which government body initiated the TRL process for POET which is being tested currently by BAE. This might help us guess who the early adopters are (besides NASA) and what devices are going to be the first to sport POET under the hood.
