dmb...well...there ya go...
new info to some...is old news ot others...didn't come across
that PR yet...Thanks.
Sounds like this guy's genes spawned from the same hills that
spawned NASCAR. 26+ years experience...and that ain't bad!
If anyone is interested about Diversified Ethanol's plant
designer...his name is Floyd Butterfield. Google his name
and read at least the 1st search article that comes up:
A successful farm still
Pretty interesting stuff...IMO.
Good analogy...eom.
Where's J Livermore when we need him. He sounded a lot like
a chemist a while back...or...did he just stay at a Holiday Inn Express that day.
That's funny Flipper...stay away from the grain elevators...
even if they don't blow up...the radiation could kill you...
or at the least...you might lose your hair. LOL
Waverider...go to Google Earth...or something like it...
punch in USSE's address...and...depending on the zoom
capability...you will see the same thing as the photo.
That should ease your apprehension a bit. Otherwise...you
can go to the USSE board IBox and see some more photos.
Zardiw (board moderator) posted & put links to lots of photos
he and other IHub'rs took when they visited.

"Aerial photos of Natchez, MS. seem like good DD, but
they could be taken of a different country or a different
company for all I know."
Plastics...fuels...they all come from oil and that's the
dependency we want to get away from. Parts of just about
everything that is manufactured has plastics in it...so if
we can get the polymers from organics...all the better for
us & the environment...and Alcar can do just that...with
some "good" financial help.
Roger that...I just like Alcar's technology & CEO. IMO...
the fit would be perfect...but it's up to the big boys to
hammer out an equitable deal. Hope they can.
futrcash...I was researching the viability of switchgrass
yesterday...and came up with this article. Don't know who
wrote it or if the numbers are anywhere near accurate. All
I know..is it got me scratching my head more...and I don't
have dandruff. LOL Guess the wise thing to do is cover your
bases with several different processes...and see which ones
rise to the top.
http://www.pastpeak.com/archives/2006/03/switchgrass_to.htm
PS: Hope there is still something in the works with Alcar
& USSE. I personally like the synergy of the two. Wouldn't
bother me to have a polygomist wedding of all three companies,
(ONYI) as I believe there will be plenty of profit to go around when
these cutting edge technologies come to fruition in the marketplace.
All...JMO
aliangel...thanks for the warning...but to me...he looks like
a British soldier wearing bright red during the Revolutionary
War. Easily seen & obviously the enemy.
Nice post kippy...I personally think the sincerity of the
post is wasted on the targeted recipient...but I sure liked it.
grant...Trooper...
it is amazing how many people use the stock message
boards to save investors from themselves. With all the casinos
that are now in the US...I would have thought the financial
"good samaritans/saviors" would start there. Lots more average
lower income people trying to make it big there than on stock
message boards...or so it seems to me. And...didn't the guy
that was the "Secret Santa" just go out and give money to the
less fortunate. Seems like it would be more fufilling to save
the poor souls who can't afford financial loss.
Could another agenda be possible here??? Naw...that wouldn't
be honest...now would it.
How about...
The truth is incontrovertible, malice may attack it,
ignorance may deride it, but in the end; there it is.
Winston Churchill
Do you believe NASA put men on the moon in 1969?
hogs...to follow up on grant's post of z attending demo...
Also...I think all those pics in the IBox were taken by him.
He and others actually watched the JR juice being made. I
believe JR gave the whole gang the 50 cent tour of the Port
Gibson test facility/plant.
Ah yes...the winter grass on the greens. Now that's some
GREEN grass...isn't it. I would imagine there are a veritable
plethora of things the ash could be used for. Time will tell.
Hey to your birdie. Speaking of birdies...I had a cardinal
smack into our patio door today. Rang his bell pretty good.
Took 2 hours before I could get him back in the air. Ouch...
OT: hazesaze...
You forget...the main product is the fertilizer ash. It's black...it burns...
and it's organic...just add hickory or your favorite "flavored" wood.
I bet it's better than charcoal. Hmmm...we might have a whole new
market here. LOL
hazesaze...I like it.
And the gas byproduct would run the optional BBQ grill attachment...
yours for a paltry 100 bucks more. That sounds fair...huh. LOL
This was posted on the Alcar board...and reposted here Friday am.
In case some of you missed it and are still wondering what is going
on regarding the MOU with Alcar...here is an email from ceo Alex.

Did you guys check your e-mail today?
From Alex:
Good Morning Ladies and Gentlemen,
First of all let me wish you and your families a Happy New Year, lots of health and love for the coming year – these are the two most important elements and with plenty of them, wealth will automatically follow because they will allow us to take the right decisions in terms of investments.
With that said, I am taking a few minutes to address the USSE issue which has many of you on the edge of your seats…
After long work and negotiations we did enter a MOU with USSE outlining a merger/acquisition of 60% of ACMG by USSE in which we mutually agreed on a pps evaluation of $2. Furthermore, we had envisioned a closing prior to the Holidays, however, our DD requires further scrutiny on our part. As a result, we have NOT as of this date reached a definite agreement with USSE and as a consequence, USSE is not in a position to sell any technology belonging to ACMG. As a matter of fact, USSE has not received in depth knowledge from ACMG which would allow them to copy or reproduce our technology.
A definite agreement with USSE may still be reached at a given time but only if and when our DD is completed yielding positive results.
I hope this puts everyone at ease.
Alexander P. Cavasin,
CEO
LMAO Z...that's hilarious...eom.
November...
I think I just saw that episode on the "Young and the Restless". LOL
Well stated hazesaze...I, for one, hope that Alcar is NOT out of the mix.
I don't know how the negotiations have gone, or are going...
but I like their technology. When you can put some
waste material nobody wants...and usually pays to get rid off...
into a reactor and get something of value out the other end...
the possibilities are endless...IMO. I would hate to lose the
possibility of incorporating that technology into USSE.
OT: grant...10/4...good for y'all. Continued good fortune. eom
grant...sorry you missed all the fun of the last few days.
After checking out all of the summer homes in Charleston...
how high does USSE need to go...so you may lavish your
better half in the manner in which she is accustomed? LOL
larice...
Definitely need a score card here. It's like going to a family
reunion and listening to the elders tell you how you're related
to this cousin or that one. LOL
Let me rephrase my question...does anybody (that doesn't post in
CAPS...& whose answer I respect) have any idea how the 1.3 share #
was arrived at. (Pardon the dangling participle or whatever is is).
Anybody figure out why the 1.3 number yet?
dh...
That will depend on which CEO wins the arm wrestling match. LOL
I do know it won't be called ONYI tho. Just doesn't roll off the
lips like USSE does.
westeffer...found this in an old ONYI PR...
"As featured in the latest issue of Ethanol Producer Magazine, Diversified Ethanol has successfully utilized Cold Microwave technology in a small-scale setting, using ultrasonic sound waves to pre-cook corn. Iowa State University has demonstrated up to a 30% increase in fermentable sugars using the technology on a small scale. Moffitt said, "I think that the 'extra' starch was always there, it was just locked up in little lipid shells, and now we're cracking it like walnuts. It was chemically invisible before." If a company were to make this upgraded technology available to ethanol plants around the world, there could be a substantial savings in the need for feedstock. Such technology could save an average ethanol plant millions of dollars every year."

Or just forget...
Looks like somebody got up on the wrong side of the rock this morning.
Nope...that didn't help. Still don't have a clue as to what JR's strategy is now.
I'll just enjoy the ride till I find out what ride I'm on.
Sorry...but I don't understand this new "strategery"...
king oil...that may be true...but who's technology can process
cow pies & wood chips?
OT: JL...
In the future...you may want to run your posts thru the boss
before you click submit. I will assume you can interpret his
affirmative & negative squeals...or has he learned the queen's
english yet. LOL
OFF TOPIC...but in the vicinity of Vidalia, Louisiana...
Congrats to the 2007 Sugar Bowl Champion...
LSU Bengal Tigers!!!
and...the NFC South Champion...
New Orleans Saints!!!
These two accomplishments by these two teams mean a whole lot
to the cities of New Orleans, Baton Rouge & all other areas that
were affected by hurricanes Katrina & Rita. To see the New Orleans
and the MS gulf coast devastation up close & personal...is an
event one does not soon forget. The success of these two teams
during the same season...is nothing short of a miracle... when
you consider the Saint's Chicago Cub-esk history. LOL
If hell hasn't "frozen over" yet...I guarantee it has to be a tad on
the chilly side by now.
redstone...
Roger that. I know the value of sugarcane as related to the
production of ethanol. Don't know if it would really be more
beneficial with the sugar content when making JR juice tho.
I believe they get much more bang for the buck down in South
America making ethanol out of their sugarcane...or so I've read.
Been to Hawaii...and know pretty much everything costs more
than on the mainland. I would think soybeans & corn would grow
over there also. Volcanic soil is best there is & there's lots
of high pasture land on the big island...near Mona Loa & Kea.
Come to think of it...there is actually no place on the planet
that wouldn't benefit from JR juice.
redstone1...Besides the H2O needed for the sugar cane...
the ethanol plants use tremendous amounts also. Would be
a good place for one of our biofuel reactor plants.

Hey rheddle & strong...
Look at my signature. I "totally" know what y'all mean.
I've just got to get better at NOT letting the past repeat itself. LOL
