OT: grant...my last post of the day...
I'm on the economy plan.
I know what your mean. I spent 25 years in the food, beverage
& casino industry kissin' the customer's behinds. After I got
out of that vocation...and after all that "nice" I had to do...
I started seeing myself turning into one of the curmudgeons
from the "Muppet Show".
So...I know what you mean...tho my tongue is half bitten off.
LOL
Have a good one...I'm later.
The saying down here in redneck country is...
"don't let your alligator mouth override your froggy a$$".
I've seen that get people's buttock's kicked in some good ole
boy saloons...yessir.
OT: grant...
I realize it's Matt's basketball...but I sure would like to
know what caused him to come over here and use the hook. I
agree...from what I've read of his posts...I would put him
at about a 6 on the rude/crude/and tatooed meter. And that's
where I would put you or me also! Then again...I would never
join a club that would have me as a member...Sigh...
Agree...others you've mentioned are far worse...IMO.
I guess he's now a martyr...Ah...the virgins..LOL
grant...
I asked Z why and he said it was an accumulation of stuff...
so I said OK...I'm not the sheriff in this town. But...after
going back and looking over his posts...I sure didn't see
anything that warranted the boot...IMO...but there may have
been deleted messages I didn't read...??? I'm confused too.
OK...I didn't see it...but I'm not looking either. eom
What was the offense that got him tossed?
voyeur...that's probably true...but had you asked it in
the proper forum...(phone call or email to his company)...
I believe you would have gotten your answer very quickly...
as I did with my correspondence. No offense...but answering
questions on this or any other board...IMO is not his job...
and any communication from Maximus we do get here should
be considered "lagniappe".
All...JMO...
GL2U
In case the term is not familiar to you...(see 2nd definition)
http://www.answers.com/topic/lagniappe
voyeur...I don't think it was the question...as much as
"how" the question was asked.
1st time...
"Maximus...I have a question."
2nd time...after no direct response from the 1st time...
"So Maximus, you have the time to eloquently answer in a long dissertation questions posed by Prophet, but not enough time for a simple "yes" or "no". I will ask again. Do "we", USSE shareholders own the equity in the Natchez property?."
I think you were lucky to get "any" response at all...whether
indirect or direct. You may want to ask "nicely" next time...
but hey...that's JMO. I did suggest an email to his place of
business instead of asking on this message board.
JL...that message sounded like dialogue from a movie trailer.
I even read it like the "announcer guy" from the GIECO commercials.
Now you can not only do standup...but write movie trailers...between
planting & harvest time...and catering to Herkermer's needs. LOL
billaro...roger that. In the "old" days...an economical PR blitz
would be done by snail mail...targeting the appropriate audience.
Next...they came out with the fax blast...and now with the
internet...you can go world-wide promoting your company
with as you say...the "smaller" inexpensive media avenues for
little or no cost and get parts of the WSR report out...etc.
This "ain't Robert's first rodeo"...looks to me he's got a clue
what he's doing. In the past 3 days I've seen:
a. new websites introduced...
b. news on internet webnews wires...
c. professional explanations on the message board...
d. answers by email of my inquires...
e. search engine (Yahoo) sponsored placings...
It hasn't helped the pps yet...but it is a proven strategy
and will go a long way for company recognition in the future.
IMO...
sack...
I see what your mean & if you don't get it on your trading
site...then others don't either...and I would agree with you.
I'm with Ameritrade & I get MarketWire PR's...but I normally
just look at my portfolios in Yahoo to get my news. Shoot off
an email to Robert @ Maximus...he'll probably give you an
answer.
sack...Maximus is just doing a publicity blitz...
there was nothing new to us in this release. They are just
getting our name & what we do "out there"...via internet
news services...and new websites etc. Any "new" information
will...I'm sure...come via a PR. These guys are doing their
job...aggressively getting USSEC's name known. Nice to see
that happening too. JMO
See post #18772 from Harvard last nite...he called Robert.
Hey voyeur...rather than post your question only on this
message board...why don't youe email them directly. I did
and got a very informative answer back.
info@maximuscommunications.com
grant...not sure what you are referring to...
but I believe sos's message was in reference to this post.
#18805
Matinee on Saturdays.
buyandsell...you don't tug on Superman's cape...
you don't spit in the wind...you don't pull the mask off the
Lone Ranger...and you don't come here spoutin' scam!
Harvard...from what I've seen of Maximus / Robert Davis
so far...I'm impressed. It looks to me as if we finally have
some very professional promotion for the company...much
better than we've had. Starting to look like a class act. I
look forward to more publicity.
You may be right with that pick...but just seeing them in
a Super Bowl game...after 40 years of a Chicago Cub-esk
type of record should be enough to get hell mighty darn cold.
Would like: Chargers or Indy...Saints or Bears. Can guarantee
none of the above...can only hope.
LAKINGSPHAN...
If the Saints keep on winning and go to the Super Bowl...
that may be sooner than you think. LOL
That's what animals & babies hear when people talk to them.
Blah blah blah blah...blah blah blah...blah blah blah...
I personally think bringing Maximus onboard was a great idea.
We now have professional communicators to refute the never-
ending barrage of repetitive questions, misinformation & innuendo
that has infested this board like certain insects & small rodents do.
I am very pleased to see them answer the questions some of us
have grown weary of repeatedly answering...or referring to the
company. They will never call the company for answers...as that
doesn't promote their agenda when done privately. They need the
message board forum to do that. You can't stir up ant mound by
just stepping on one ant.
Looks like a pretty large square area of no grass between
the middle of the building & the south side of the dock. I
would think that would be the "straightest" path from river
to building...but don't have any idea where the grain will
be stored. Seems I just read where this building was state
owned...but never used. You know the history of it?
How are we supposed to download the grain with the vacuum
hoses if the land between the building & the docks isn't ours?
Looks like the only other access is by the road.
OK...thanks kip. I didn't even think about asking you...
and you've worked there...DUH!!! So...they would have to clear
a few trees if they needed more land for development. Not a big deal.
Looks like this setup could really work out well as is...and
when expansion is needed. Sweet...
My GPS map software...calls it the Natchez-Adams County Port.
That could possibly be a fuel distribution facility...but I'm
just guessing. I'll find out when I pay a visit some day.
Roger that. Just by looking at the setup to the south...I would
agree...that is probably a liquid facility of some sort & I
would think all the storage tanks are part of it. If the
building is 11...then everything from it on to the river looks
like the balance of the 35 acres. Great set up for expansion.
What a find!!!
Excellent photo. Any idea what the other facility is?
OK...but the model had a 40mw generator putting out
enough kwh for Vidalia (1/3 output) and the rest to LEPCO which
was the other 2/3 of the output of the generator. Total sales
were $11.5 million...so the numbers still don't jive.
I'll search for fuel consumption of turbines.
Never mind...thanks anyway.
Z...question...re: your post on talking w/Robert...
You've got the 50mw generator costing way more per year in fuel
than the sale of electricity per year...(page 18 WSR) $11.5 mil/yr.
Vidalia model...
"The scoop on this is very clear: a 50MW power plant uses roughly
66 gallons per minute, or roughly 95,000 gallons of fuel daily. At $2.35
per gallon, that equates to $223,344 daily, or $81,520,560 yearly."
What did I miss here? 66 gallons per minute of fuel burn for
any kind of engine seems high to me. I haven't done a search
on turbine fuel consumption yet...cause I wanted to run it by
you first. Most of the turbines I've been around burned natural
gas (which is what they were used for at pumping stations)...
so I've never seen liquid fuel tank storage...which would have
to be pretty big at these burn rates.
TIA
rbl100...
I don't know if you're right about global warming...but I
sure do agree with this post. Well said...
Like Austin Powers says...that's not mine...LOL. eom
Bashers use "emotion"...not logic.
Could an SEC #1 & #2 final ranking be possible?
Maybe so...Florida...LSU...just maybe.
Congrats to all Gator fans...they played a helluva game.
Well...I blew that punch line...
Z instead of S.
D'oh!
Hey...hey...hey...I resent that.
That's LUCAS SARDIWALKER to you. LOL
2SHEA...roger that...look at my post again...eom.
Good luck there...Obe Wan Kenobi.
I second that...and another thing...
EOM...is that on the American Stock Exchange...got an
Invalid Symbol warning when I punched it in.

*Gotcha...
Especially since the average pps for the last month has been
over double that! I agree... Goofy says it all.
I read this PR the other day...I can envision farm co-ops
across the midwest going this route (much less cost) instead
of the conventional plants springing up everywhere. 2 or 3 of
these in every county of farm country with JRJuice, 7-3-7 ash
& who knows whate else being utilized/sold. Farmers burning
100% biofuel in their diesel equipment & 50/50 (biofuel/ethanol)
blend in their gasoline equipment at such a discount price that the
fuel costs (energy balance) for planting, cultivating & harvesting
would be greatly reduced. I like that thought. Totally green
fuel & farms...except for the methane gas generated from cow
burps and farts. LOL
