I hadn't thought of that. What if all of the longs hold on totheir shares and the company starts bringing in millions? The pps won't climb because Hawk, Trader and a few others have driven off the idiots. That means no market and the price stays the same. OMG. Will it at least give some dividends. Come on MMs and idiots, make a market cause we ain't selling yet.
Oh come on Risk! Not you too! Next thing we will all be..........OMG, it's here. And it is black and bloody embedded with the souls of lost investors. Oh, why didn't I believe? Oh, wait. It's hung up on the 200, trapped in the 50; oh Hell, it's just hanging there. Guess I will wait until we hit .005 like the Hawk and scoop up some shares. Cinco daes mas, hombres. Or thereabouts. LOL
You are scaring the Bejesus out of me Cheeps. Can you move on to an R rated board for adults. I dreamed that I was on the death cross unable to get off no matter who I offered my shares to....all of them in fact. No takers and the cross grew as the price plummeted to .0001 and the MMs were offering .00005. I bet Mortimer $1.00 it wouldn't last, but I lost that too. I woke up shaking and crying. My wife was crying, saying that I kept moaning in my sleep, saying the possums are coming, the possums are coming. Seriously, stay and watch....soon you will be back in Sney, maybe for more than the 6,000 previously owned, and at a lower basis. Looking good!
I have. It's a company like mine except that it is a public company and out of La. Has some wells in Texas, La., Kan, Ill, Ark, and around. Some in Central America. Doing reworks, buying old leases and the like. Trying to rev up.
Of course I don't work for SNEY! I'm an independent oil & gas producer in Texas (another foreign country). I report what I find out, and my sources are as reliable as Trader's. NOT. I am developing information resources in SL and only hope they are reliable. Time (six days) will tell. But we only have two types of people on this board, those that make money when this ting goes down and those that make money if it goes up. I'm on the up-side and that requires DD, whcih I'm trying to locate and provide. Innuendo, bashing, and predicting iminent disaster are the tools of others. Justify by charts or by information. Take your choice. Prices today are indicative of nothing. The volume is so low any of us can set a trend. It is so artificial that any comments are self-gratifying fluff (ala Trader innuendo) and self-fulfilling prophesy. Wait until the longs and traders do come out in numbers....that is when real treends can be measured. Now, we arte just waiting, biding, watching, waiting, biding.......
Don't know about the filing side of things, but the operation side is doing good. But anyone (Like Dredge, for instance) wh has done time in the field knows things are really popping 24/7. SNEY is no different. It is doing what it says it is doing.
News is imminent. 6 days on the outside. And it will be more than just a filing. There has been more production than has been assumed by the board, and there is processing taking place. The rain has really been a nonfactor in production. Lots of gold being removed, but not huge amounts yet. Exploration of other sites is down due to fast flowing river, but at least two high production areas have been identified and are ready for dredging next month. It is really getting exciting. And no, I won't be telling my sources. Heck, they may not be as reliable as Trader's sources are Cheep's disastrous, end-of-world deathcross, but it should be interesting.
Well, here is a chart for you. I notice that when Rainmaker, El Cheepo, the Admiral, Free Nebula, Daggfish, and Uncommonsense are here, the pps climbs. Now that Cheeps, Daggfish and Rainmaker are here, if we can get the rest of the old crew back, we should be flying. We have a viable board, we have liftoff!
Thanks for the info Long. I don't know what I would do withiout yours, Hawk's and Trader's foresight and knowledge. I am overwhelmed with your sacrifice and willingness to help us see the light. I am investing and divesting according to all of your guidelines. Keep the insights coming.
Because I chose to find out and that requires very hard work and contacts in-country, inlcuding suppliers, vendors, banks, customs and a whole list of things.
An insider by definition knows all the cards. If they know what SNEY is sitting on and if it is huge, or course they will be sitting on and accymulating more shares at any level, because they will make that much more money when it breaks out. For what ever reason, management is playing it close to the vest. They are in it for the long (get it? LONG) haul, not the short term. Trader plays for the pennies...I work for the money, and working requires DD, faith, perserverance, determination, knowledge, and grit. I've been on this board enough to see that 99% of the posters are relying on Risk, America, Falon, Rainmaker, and all of the others who actually do to provide the DD they for whatever reason can't or don't know how to do it for themselves. Have you noticed that the pps value is rising or falling based on a very, very, very low volume of shares? I lost 16% of the value of my shares yesteday on low volume. What a f**** joke. We don't know what the real price is and won't untill we are back to trading in the many millions of shares. One other thing, I've bought shares in mega bunches only to see the sale to be shown as a sale, not a buy, and to have Trader or some of his followers indicating that people are bailing. Longs are not bailing, that is why this stock is vacillating. Get in to make serious money or go to another more volitle stock for fast up and down ticks.
There are things to worry about when you have a small operation going in a thrid world country that is very undercapitalized. Money and supplies are always critical. Unless we have eyes or ears on ground we cannot know what is going on. DD requires one to talk to suppliers and vendors and officials in the area, not rely on what the company is saying when the comany is silent. The equipment is there and it is working. How efficient it is and precisely what it is doing is the question. Time is indeed bringing pressure on the company, and it has to do something soon. Even I, a very, very strong long worry about reissuance, or a reverse split or any other manuver to raise cash other than production, because the amount of production is highly secret. I can't get any information about production. I can find out things on the periphery but nothing about production.
Equipment is on site and working. Notice how everyone assumes that there has been no dredging in July thanks to trader's input. Things are popping along the production front. Somethings taking more time, but things are going. Look for some news, big news in the next 10 days. Things are critical and will fall one way or the other soon.
Assuming honesty, the biggest negative I see is that SNEY may be so undercapitalized that it can't exploit its riches because it simply does not have the assets it needs to get to it. On another note, some talk about how SNEY should get its REEs processed in South Africa and share in the profits. That's not how it done. When I sell oil, I don't process it. I sell it to a gatherer who pays me the market price depending on the grade of oil. I sell it, they process it and the buyer makes its money selling the refined product and I make mine on selling raw crude. Here, I would imagine that SNEY can purify its product (kind of like I would use a heater treater to separate waxes from oil, and a separater to take out the water) to maximize the value of the sands and then sell the sands at the prevailing market rates, depending upon the purity and type of REE to the buyer and let the buyer undergo the refining process and reap the profits. Each makes its own profits depending on its place in the system. Same with the gold. The oil standard is based on the purest West Texas Sweet Crude. But depending on the sulfur and other content, well not all barrels of oil are treated the same and producers will get the best price they can on what they produce. Here, our gold is 89% pure, and depending on what the other 11% is, and what it will take to get the gold to .999 fine will determine what our price will be.
I think not. I think we are waiting for more information just like everyone. Some are on other boards where there is more activity. Why keep posting while things are dragging as they are here? We think we know what we have, but until filings are made and PRs are released, there is nothing out there to generate interest. Longs are holding and quietly accumulating more and day traders are ignoring us and bashers continue to make a big deal over the price on extremely low volume as if that were an indication of the true values of the stock.
I do know what you are saying, and I do agree. I am coming from a perspective that is pure neophyte as an investor. I own my own company and have no investors. I do sell working interests and I have to abide by blue-sky laws in order to secure my investors without having to register with exchanges and all. I cannot mislead them, though some will allege that I have when a certain investment fails (that's for you Hawk, when you try to libel Parent) and I have been sued on more than one ocassion. But all I am trying to do is make money. If I make money, my investors make money. All I am trying to say is that SNEY needs to keep its focus on production and do it right. You are absolutely right, it owes us a fiduciary duty to communicate with us and to do right by us. But we have to understand like only Dredge can, and that is, SNEY operates in an area where government and quasi-government entities can make life miserable for the haves, and we can't possibly know all of the security implications in that country. If you look at the history of gold production in SL, you'll see that most of the gold mined there was smuggled out of country rather than sold in markets like we are accustomed to. By far, most of the gold. Now they are beginning to do it right and still a lot of the gold is smuglled out. By the way, I like and respect Dredge, but I bet that he is half pirate and a great adventurer, but at the same time he is someone I would feel comforatable doing business with because he projects an honor about him. I get the feeling SNEY would rather not give out information for security reasons and when Parent gives out information he tries to make the inquiring parties happy and he gets in trouble because he gives out time-frames that SNEY can't possibly meet because he doesn't want to disappoint. Better to say nothing at all and let the production do all the talking. It's a fine line he's walking and like everone here, I think I have a better way of doing it, but I am not there walking in his shoes. But until it can provide security for its product, can get it to market consistently, or build itself up to a company that can sell out to a Newmont or significant other, we get what we got.
Yep.. When I got back from Nam I got a 66 Monaco Orange 427 Vette right before the change to the stingray, and that reminds me of it. The cost will be pocket change after what we make on SNEY.
When this is at $1.50+ a share all of the longs will be getting together for one hell of a bash somewhere exotic. And we will all be springing for something. May even buy that Lamborghini for my friend that he keeps showing. This will be great.
I really think a lot of investors should listen to you. I trust your judgment and your advice. If I didn't know what I do know and others don't know because they are not experienced in any way with the ways these industries operate, I would be trading the way you advise. I would get out, because I do think it has a ways to go before those with the knowledge will bring it back up into the double digits. Those who can't afford to continue to double down should get out and buy back at a lower rate. But then, there might be some info that rockets this thing off of the pad and they might not be there to maximize profits. I'm fortunate to not have to worry about this problem. This stock will be up above $.10, IMHO, and I don't need to play the dips to make money. The more I get at this level, the more I make when it climbs. If players need to make money on dips and they need to use short term strategies, they absolutely should listen to you. Like I said, I respect your knowledge and I like the way you present it....not like some who have an ego that needs stroking and self esteem problems - rule
Death cross? Wooooeeee, I am scared. So scared. Well, I'm so scared I'm off to SL today (oh, that be St. Louis), so you won't hear from me for a few days. Putting together a ten well package so I'm meeting with some investors. As a side jaunt, I'm meeting with those same guys and some others about getting several more million shares of the corpse. Pick up some of those dilluted shares you're always so fond of talking about. Probably put in a bid at .007 for a while so talk those babies down. If it doesn't die on us in ten days, we'll jack those bid prices back up. Keep the irrelevant chatter up and look after our needs while I'm gone trader. Remember, keep our best interests in mind. I'm counting on you to keep this thing in reversal so talk that CE status up, please.
You are so full of Such Highly Important Tips, I am using your comments as part of my investment strategy.
I forget about you only because you were banned from posting also, so I don't read many of yours (only those that you actually post...LOL). There are several names I omitted not because I don't respect them or read them all, but just because i'm terrible with names. By the way, I have read every post on this board since the very first one, and if newbies want to really know what is going on, they should start from post #1, not listen to Trader's bull. The history is here. And Dredge is the diamond in the rough. What he says is more important than any other's opinion as far as I am concerned. We two may not know about stock, but we know production and operations, and that is what I'm investing in.
What? I am long and strong, always. My post has been removed again. Apparently some can get away with tons while those who truly try to get all sides out are not tolerated. I am pro risk, falon, rainmaker, dagg, neb, uncommon, etc., and I enjoy all but arrogant self-serving mish-mash that is tolerated under the umbrella of being centered on SNEY when it's just explosive self-important rhetoric with no value whatsoever. Sorry, but it's tiring to be limited to a few posts a day when some are allowed to post as much drivel as they want when doing nothing but self-repeating ad nauseum.
Yeah. I sent a PM to LifeAmerica about the Independence mine to ask Steve Parent. Had a lot of questions but since my posts are limited, I didn't want to waste a post. I'm not sure if it is a funding problem or something else at this stage, because the tests indicate major minerals. Interesting, since I believe SNEY has an interest there too. And I wonder about oil in Ghana as that is what SNEY began with before it got the gold concession. Don't want to get too flung out, but it seems there is a lot going on we don't know about.
Don't ask. You'll have them back outquicker than bees on honey. It's so nice. To actually talk about projections and possibilities rather than I told you so's. By the way if Dredge reads this, I have a question. I've found some smelters in Sierra Leone and I wonder if they smelt for other companies or just smelt for their own shop. There are quite a few buyers there. everyone is worried about infrastructure, but they've been taken gold and diamonds out of that country for a long time.
No one is running a P&D, or if someone is, its so ineffective because no one knows anything about it. At least I haven't heard anything.
As I recall, SNEY when it put its plan together on Ghana last year, it indicated that it was already producing 15 ounces of gold a day by primitive methods. If that is so, it is producing gold at todays prices at about $22,000 a day. If it is working 6 days a week, then it is producing at about $132,000 a week. Seems to me that things may just be popping there as well. That is where they want to process and smelt its gold as well. Taking Ghana and Sierra Leone together might produce astronomical numbers that will really drive this stock way up. This company is not too cncerned with pumping up price of stock, because it is in it for the long haul and it knows the stock will be driven by the production. And remember it is wanting to accumulate more producing properties with its proceeds, plus it wants to stockpile 60% of its gold production when it becomes profitable. After all, gold will be in the $5000/oz range wont it?
And just think. Six weeks puts us at 9/20/11, which coincides with Risk's timeline for when things will be a popping. I'm still looking at the end of August if some of the things that I think are happening are in fact happening. LOL.
I don't know. That is what I've been trying to find out. Very difficult to say the least.
This was sent out in 2008, FWIW:
Why Ghana? We believe the country is an attractive location due to its stability and it history (Former British Colony independent since 1957. There are favorable mining laws and recently numerous major gold producers have begun defining what we believe will become one of the world’s most prolific gold belts. The Opportunity SNEY will begin a gold purchasing program from the artisan’s already working on the concessions; coupled with an oxide mineralization exploration and development plan designed to result in oxide gold recovery through gravity/wash plant operations on concession areas. The Artisans typically recover about 30% of the available gold using crude methods by hand. Modern mechanized methods are able to recover an additional 60% at the rate of 200 tons/hour. There is good harmony in working with the locals, rather than putting them out of work. The purchasing program from the locals will be immediately profitable with profits initially being contributed to the development of alluvial production equipment and operations.
SNEY will purchase gravity/wash plant(s) and a field smelting facility to further recovery after the Artisan hand operations recover the initial gold. Once profitable, SNEY will reserve 60% of the gold recovered .to guarantee anticipated future Gold Debenture financing for growth through acquisition of profitable targeted gold recovery operations. Additional Oxide Gold production opportunities are available in other concessions through acquisition or Joint Venture. Timing Within 45 days of funding, SNEY will start its Gold Buying Program. Within 90 days of funding, SNEY will begin mechanized gold recovery operations on the already previously worked Artisan pits along the Offin River. The operation is profitable from day one because the initial gold is bought at a substantial discount and the cash cost of mechanized gold recovery will be less than $300/ ounce.
$300 an ounce? WOW. Things change.
In Ghana, as I understand it, there will be some dredging, but most of the work will be actual mining. SNEY has identified three anomolous target zones, the Owusukurom, the Ntoboroso, and the Krakyekurom anomolies within the Birimian metasediments, which means the Nyinahin concession has great prospects for lode gold mineralization within favorable geological terrains. This information was known two years ago. Wha has been done between then and now is anyone's guess.
You are the biggest plus on this board. Your information is invaluable. Keeo up the good work.
I was thinking the same thing. He could put all he has to say in one post instead of laying it out post after redundant post. SNEY is a junior start-up with all of the inherent problems. One thing that impresses me is that it has managed to stay afloat and produce product when all of the experts were predicting its demise years ago. I hear the processing equipment is in Sierra Leon and is up and running. And that did not come from SNEY. Things ought to be hopping soon. And I hear that there are several mineral buyers in-country looking specifically at SNEY.
What you said was that SNEY would issue a fluff PR to buoy the stock price. What it did do was issue a matter-of-fact statement that informs us what is going on. No fluff, no pump. Again, your agenda and SNEY's does not match. It is the kind of statement I would make to my investors, just facts, no pump. SNEY will light the way.
I realize that. I am just saying that those of us who are in this play should all be big boys with substantial reserves, not people putting in savings. If we have to worry about losing hundreds of dollars, we should be investing in nonspeculative stocks. I was being a bit facicious to make a point. Maybe I lost my point.
Appreciate your knowledge and advice. Thanks
Anyone who has been in big business, start-ups, and the like are always getting sued. It's just the cost of doing business. Show me judgments, not lawsuits. Want to know how many times Bill Gates has been sued, both as an officer of Microsoft and individually, for fraud. The proof will come out in the end. I really can't figure the agendas you Hawk and Trader have. I disagree with the general opinions that you are trying to get the price down to buy in cheaply. I could understand that if the price were at $15. Get it down to $1.50 and you could substantially increase your load. But we're dealing in micro-pennies. Who cares if it is .026 or .009? I mean fractions of a penny on a stock that could be over a dollar with some filings and some good news. Come on. Don't infer fraud or sham based on conjecture. Base it on provable evidence, not innuendo and crappy deduction.
I know what I would do. I would get 33 of my best investors and do a private placement memorandum giving to the group an 80 or 85% revenue interest and 100% of the working interest. I would priov price the working interest at a rate that would insure enough capital to run operations for two years with proper equipment. I would have 15 or 20% of the net revenue with none of the working interest. Advantage. I wouldn't have a public corporation and wouldn't have to put up with all the crap this board gushes. Disadvantage. Certain posters here would not have a forum to vent their spleen over shares they don't own, or to benevolently instruct newbies on how to invest or divest properly. Put it that way, there are no disadvantages. There are many ways to structure. I could give 100% of the net until the shareholders had been paid back, then back in for a bigger percentage. Too bad I didn't know about this three years ago. Now I'm just one of the longs holding the bag!!! LOL
Easy, it gets strong handed shareholders from those that do their DD. Don't rely on the company for information. I can't emphasize any more than I already have that there are so many ways to find out whether a company is real or not, producing or not, etc., without going to its location. It costs some money and it takes a lot of digging, but it can be done. I'm not in this stock because everyone was pushing it and braying about it. I was in it when the Admiral and a half dozen others were here back around post 750 and I started studying and looking into the company back then. If I wanted, I could wait and buy a million shares when it hits $2 or $3 a share, but I know 99% of the people can't do that. But at .005 or even .004, oh what a steal. I'm having fun trying to guess the bottom while most are stressing out. I've managed to miss the bottom on every (I mean every)downtick. I wish I could read charts, but I'm too old and busy to learn, but I like Cheeps and trader and Nebula and Risk and their takes on charts as a learning experience. But I make my money the old fashion way. I do due diligence and buy accordingly. Just MDGO for what its worth.
Who is them? Can't see them dropping it much further. Them? Guys, I am like Dredge. Delving into public securities is not my bag (which I am holding), but strictly from a company side, I could care less what my investors are expecting. I'm drilling for product and if those who have interests in my wells want to sell their interests to others I could care less. If they plan on making money on trades, that is their problem. The price could go to zero for all I care. If SNEY is living off the float, then it cares. If it is selling nothing but African air or water as the case may be, then they care, but if it is wanting to live off of the product it is selling, it could care less about the float. Its money will be made on product dredged,, processed or sold.
The stock is going down because investors who don't do DD are subject to the whims and psychology of the market place and right now a bunch of CS's are losing focus, or are just plain lying to themselves. When the company sees fit to let us know what's happening it will. Gee, maybe one of those fluffy PRs will come out today to stem the flow. Don't bet on it. When this thing hits, it will take off like SAEI, only it will be real, and if anyone was along for the ride on that one, it went to a $1.00 in nothing flat. go look at those old PR's.....really fluff a person could see a mile away. Not this company. Longs will do well in the long run (6months from now).
