What's your point? He was smart enough to keep the shell alive and I bet he did a ton of behind the scenes work here. He's not "getting" anything here, he's earning every penny, and if your story was accurate we'd see dumpage right now and we aren't.
And if we see one we will see 20
My guess based on the way things have gone so far is that we see filings tomorrow afternoon.
I'm guessing the actual float is smaller.
I'm going to see if I can find the volume for the 6 months prior to this shell purchase. Just imagine if the 8k reveals that they actually own 80-85 percent of commons?
What part of "worth billions" is too difficult for some people to understand?
Don't worry about it he is absolutely meaningless to the price of a stock especially one like this
I remember another penny stock that went from pennies to dollars, it is in the energy sector however it's the kind you drink out of a can, theinteresting thing is it has about 500 and some million shares in issue and trades at about 60 bucks on the NAsdaq
7 bucks could be a resistance point, once it breaks through however.....hey who knows?
Take the 166 mil in NOLs and divide it by the 20 or so mil shares that Egan kept. Of course we all know that stocks trade in multiples of earnings/future earnings.
Agreed and if you look at the new tax code there is no reason to own it just a little FYI for all the Silicon Valley types that thought they were going to get rich off of it… And that's another thing in about another six months you're going to see A money manager shift from tech stocks to stocks that actually do something
Kind of like a Saturn Five idiling on the pad
So then why are you being so ridiculous about the numbers? I'm coming up with seven bucks a share
What are the NOLs worth? Then add in time and effort to keep the shell intact. I think someone threw out a number 166,000,000 honestly I don't know where they got that number from, but if correct then I would divide that by his share count.
The other thing is....oh yeah the float is locked.....hmmmm what could that mean?
Another extremely good point. The only other thing I could add to this is, can you imagine how disrespectful it would be to the _______ if they were cut out of the loop? That's why I doubt it happened and that we are looking at a major major blast off here
It's almost like the scenario here is out of the 1980s movie Trading Places, but in the movie it turned out that Eddie Murphy's character was 10,000x smarter than the idiots that dumped on today's filings. Nice clip, btw great film. Of course here it's more like,"let's give the common investor a hugely discounted offer, a gift horse with no boobie traps if you will, and see what happens"
It's always better to have more in a massive undertaking like this. I kind of look at this stock as the energy version of Global Crossing, a huge stock winner in the 90s.
We now know with 100 percent certainty that the deal closed. We now await an 8k and perhaps a few words from our sponsor.
This is like the movie Idiocracy, you need to explain it in the most simple language unless the 8k says something like, "you better buy this if you like money" then these morons will go running off for the next stock that has 20 billion shares and promises of marijuana leaves forever
If the stock it doesn't have a marijuana leaf on it they don't understand it
This completely explains why it hasn't jumped above $.10 yet it's because the penny stock market is full of absolute morons
This completely explains why it hasn't jumped above $.10 yet it's because the penny stock market is full of absolute morons
The stupidity is amazing
100 mil+- the number that are locked
Yeah, and they have 1.5 billion in cash backing them from South Korea...these other start ups are raising capitol just to get to the starting line, Delfin is lapping them.
Looks like they're just getting their permits, Delfin seems miles ahead.
"Gambler"? Or if it is a small investment firms money manager making a intelligent calculated risk?
And the speculation that the float is locked now becomes very interesting. Is it possible that the majority of the float is?????you know?
I'm not sure if they are required to have an immediate symbol change along side an announcement ? Filings must transpire regardless. I'm assuming they have the mechanics worked out, but probably based on the pps Post filing. As we all know, traditional IPOs are generally backed by large financial institutions and we do know that Delfin LNG has a _____ from_______of_______. Anyone who has done their DD can fill in the blanks.
Hypothetical here: IF the filings come out and a PR is issued which confirms that Delfin LNG intends to merge into TGLO...and no specific details are given regarding structure or symbol change, only generalities, what happens to the pps?
So you're saying that it went from 2 cents to over 2 bucks on promises of some interweb dealio widget game? the same share structure...yeah nothing to see here...oh wait...
Could be. Also, I don't think there is anything illegal about the company acquiring as many commonshares as possible prior to their offer. This doesn't fall under the category of "hostile takeover" but that's exactly what happens in those cases. Also it seems that a 1 for 2 split would put it equal to its peers.
Just trying to help.
In August this stock was supposed to hit five cents.
Yeah but you gotta look at the reality we are living in right now. Maybe last year no one would care about a safe driver ap and weed being mixed, but politics affects things, and the reason why there has been no contract with the automakers could very well be due to that. I just say drop the weed stuff here and see what happens. Are you more attached to pot or your stock doing well?
I doubt it. But all it takes is one slick lawyer...I mean It doesn't even have to be the ONCI ap owners fault and I doubt it even would be, but one bad crash involving the ap and you can bet it will get tied to weed. Seems like a "set up for failure" as they say in prison.
I've watched this with fascination over the last year. Safe mobile phone ap mixed with legal mj so people can get to dental appointments on time? Last I checked there's a guy in the WH that forbid his daughter to go on dates where cigarettes were being smoked. And I mean the tobacco kind. But the safe driver ap seems legit, but is it possible that the mj connection is scarring the automakers away and that's why nothing has panned out?
Back during the.com years a friend of mine took over a struggling small retailer that sold esoteric products in a gift catalog. He turned it around in the first year, and I asked him how he did it. He said he took a look at the items in the catalog and the first thing he said to himself was, "we've got to raise the price of these things or nobody will buy them. ". The psychology of price:
So just watch as the price of the stock rises it will seem more valuable and it will have a psychological effect on the market. Right now it's at two cents so everyone thinks it's only worth two cents, and that is my two cents happy new year everyone.
Well if you look at the other stocks in this sector each of them has about 200 million shares in issue. I believe there is one with a float of 25 million and it is trading at about $30 it is a subsidiary of the largest liquid natural gas player in the market. Of course right now we have twice as many shares however as we all know 75 percent (or who knows how many more) Are locked up. Also you have to ask yourself how is Egan going to make any money on this deal with his shares if there is no market for him to sell them to? It is possible that he wants his 4.99 percent to stay locked up for an indefinite period as preferred shares, but I tend to doubt it. He would definitely like to at least have some liquidity, perhaps for business endeavors to which he is more accustomed. But the energy sector should be good for a while and I am sure that he is well aware of that.
