There's no apology warranted or needed. I stated how I feel about the gap and I still feel the same way. What's to say that you didn't sell above .03 as you stated and buy back at or near the "gap"? I call a spade a spade and even if it's against the grain of thought by the majority I still call it like I see it.
Ok..so gap filled. So what now? This is going to just run on up to .04 or .05 with no hesitation? Lord help us NOT have a gap if/when it starts that move upwards. I don't think my heart can take another of these gaps...

A massive studio project planned for Effingham County has settled on a general contractor and has picked a construction start date.
Medient Studios will work with Charleston, S.C.-based Shore Development and Construction for its complex to be built near the Interstate 16-Old River Road interchange. Plans call for 2 million square feet of studios, offices, outdoor entertainment venues, lodging and housing.
When it is completed, Medient’s Effingham locale will be the largest soundstage in the world.
“We really feel we are in place right now where everything we have talked about can actually come to fruition,” said Medient CEO Manu Kumaran. “It’s taken a little bit longer than we expected, but we are on our way.”
Thursday, IDA members approved the revised Medient master plan, along with a provision that a letter from consulting engineers Hussey, Gay, Bell and DeYoung denotes that items in the memorandum of understanding have been addressed satisfactorily.
IDA members agreed that while some timelines in the original agreement have changed, others won’t.
“It’s a very large, very intensive use project that is going to take a lot of fleshing out,” IDA CEO John Henry said. “Everything that has been done to this point has been reset.”
Said IDA Chairman Dennis Webb: “What we need to do is pass some kind of motion to keep the process rolling, to protect the IDA and the county and to put some dates certain and identify some of these dates that we’re going to change and some that can be flexible.”
Kumaran said they anticipate beginning construction in less than two months.
“The big change is we have broken up phase 2 into two different stages,” he said.
The first and foremost step, said Jeremy Blackburn, president of Shore Development and Construction and CEO of Titan Atlas Global, is to get the studio operational.
“We think we can get that done very quickly,” he said. “The faster we can get that going and drive businesses and revenues, the faster that dream becomes a reality.”
Titan Atlas Global will produce sustainable construction products, fashioned for environmentally-conscious building. Shore is expected to seek local contractors and will be adding employees in Georgia. Titan Atlas Global also is expected to add to its workforce for production of materials to be delivered to the construction site.
“These guys know what they’re doing on the construction side,” Kumaran said.
Blackburn said they hope to have an updated critical path ready this week.
Kumaran said he has been in talks with several companies to provide the technology needed to make his studio idea work, even with firms that are competitors but could be supplying different parts the studio needs.
“The idea is being received very, very well, “he said. “We have conversations going with one of the largest technology companies in the world. I’m talking with truly global, truly large conglomerates.
“It took some convincing, but it is coming together rather nicely.”
C.J. Chance of Hussey, Gay, Bell and DeYoung has reviewed the revised master plan on the IDA’s behalf, and Henry said having a general contractor ready could help clear up several hurdles, mostly relating to projected water and sewer needs and how to accommodate those.
“They were tough to address before having a general contractor, engineer and architect on board with the project that we could address the questions with,” Henry said. “The best opportunity now is for us to sit down with CJ and the general contractor and go through the list and get some of these addressed.. We know the issues and the options with that. Now we have to figure out what it’s going to take to pull that together and keep us on track.”
IDA member Dick Knowlton said it was important to have the county’s engineering staff involved throughout the process.
“I want to make sure we don’t do something inadvertently that negatively affects the county’s system in any way,” he said. “We need to be partners in this. It’s not our organization doing this.”
An ad hoc committee of Knowlton, Chap Bennett, Rose Harvey and Charles Hinely has been established to meet with the engineering teams from the county and the developers.

that sounds good and is one of the Doc's theories. I chose however to follow the Drugdoctor on his theory that gaps don't always have to close. Yesterday if everyone had of just hushed about closing the "gap" when this was trading in the 3's I think that interested buyers would have gone ahead and hit the ask but if they think that the stock is going to go down to close a gap then why would they buy high only to watch their money shrink? Am I wrong? Just don't seem like rocket science to me but then, nothing in this pennyland seems to hold true to much of any of the "proven" methods of trading..lol
Yes, I'm not the brightest one on this board I'm sure, but it sure don't make one iota of sense to me to have this stock trading in the 3's at the start of the day and then I'm sure that a lot of the trading was at the 3's by the very same people who were saying we need to bring this stock down to fill in a "gap" so that they could reload and do it all over again. Kind of reminds me of that story of the Emperors new clothes....took a innocent child to speak out that he was naked and IMO it make NO sense to close any gap unless the stock is trading on a downward trend to begin with and it's a psychological boost to say that the stock has closed the gap and should start rising again, but I guess I don't need to p on the day traders party as whatever way one can make money on here I guess that's what it's all about but seems that if they'd just let the stock go and hold onto their shares that they'd make more money at higher levels...still learning...

I'm liking the slow steady rise this stock is making. Easy up at a steady pace as small bits of news hit. I don't like that filling in the gap stuff but I know the day traders like that so they can reload each day and we churn thru those shares every day..yesterday we didn't get much of a dip or spike in price so I'm thinking there shouldn't be much resistance today for this to get on up and maintain in the 3's. yes, I've seen several of these stocks like this sit and sit and sit and then all of a sudden just take off. In phase 2 a parking structure of nearly the same size as studio along with a corporate headquarters of a building that's over 6 acres in size!! I don't think their "flyover" video that they made really allows a person to understand how massive all of this is. Only lacking is the size in sq ft of the leaf structure which I was wanting to see. Was hoping it would be built sooner than later as it will be something that will be one of the focal points of this entire project. Go MDNT!!

The first studio itself will be a MASSIVE 722,500sq ft building!! That's almost 18 acres of building! HUGE!
In phase 2 a parking structure of nearly the same size as studio along with a corporate headquarters of a building that's over 6 acres in size!! I don't think their "flyover" video that they made really allows a person to understand how massive all of this is. Only lacking is the size in sq ft of the leaf structure which I was wanting to see. Was hoping it would be built sooner than later as it will be something that will be one of the focal points of this entire project. Go MDNT!!
this appears to be where the studio panels will be built over in Charleston...I Googled the address of Coast Construction and that Atlas addy (both the same) and came up with this building...

I'm just an old country boy from down here in S. GA, but I've been trying to figure out why in the world a stock needs to go down and fill in any gap? If the stock takes off at 03+ why in the world would it need to go DOWN instead of up? That just don't make any sense at all to me. The only reason I can see would be that day flippers sell their shares on the morning high and then want the stock to go down to "close the gap" so they can reload with cheap shares and do the same thing all over again...Call me stupid if you want but one thing I do have is common sense and I don't see any reason that anyone who is in this for the money would want a stock to take off on a great news day and go down???? Unless my theory is what is happening. I've seen this same scenario happen a dozen times in here on good news days and many of those days the stock goes down and stays down. Me thinks someone is leading the sheep to the slaughterhouse and the sheep don't even know it...

probably wouldn't hurt to punch up the momo boards a few more times before closing and see if we can't get this to close in the 3's. I've posted a few times today. Need some more eyes with money to get this on up a few more notches..
