Geaux Fish - I'm in @.158! Nice find imho.

Rattle.............lost all my e-addresses with my computer OS wipe and reload. Send me your gully if you don't mind. What a month!

TDAtrade showed a "filled" order for NYNY last after market close for me. So this morning I get up at approximately 9am mountain time to see that I don't have any NYNY or any history showing that the order was placed or made. I then called Atrade and they didn't show anything either but said, hey we'll get you in now for no trade fees and credit your account with 3 more free trades. SO I'm in now @ $1 and .99 between the total count. Has anyone had this happen to them? This isn't a short squeeze issue is it? Anyone know what the share structure is now? I'm still pissed but more curious than furious.
cmkxman
Missed COPI from the alert, thanks to nearly two weeks worth of the nastiest respiratory flu I've come down with in years. Now, in NYNY bottom on the trading day today at .98. Now to see if my interpretation of a positive MACD, Stochs and slightly early entry on a forming pincher play pays off for me/WU. Out for a late lunch, returning in hopes to find that the WU hasn't bailed on NYNY. Looks good for continued support. Nice! GLTA!
cmkxman
Chartinator.........COPI was under a penny a share when it began it's breakout. Got any other "pennies" on your watchlist that look to be legit with some real potential for improved fundamentals and adequate volume? Those penny stocks are still the biggest percentage gainers in the shortest timeframe when they happen to breakout! Brings back memories of better times in the micromarkets before "naked shorting" became so rampant.
cmkxman
Stock Weazel.........thanks, and maybe it should have already been obvious to me. It does make perfect sense to me now. Thanks again!
cmkxman
Chartinator.........the filled black candle? In regard to Stochcharts.com, what is the difference between the filled black candle and the more common filled red candle, which I understand to be as you say "where the close is less than the open". I can't find an answer at the site itself. TIA!
cmkxman
Clay Trader.........thanks for that! eom
cmkxman
Geaux Fish...........you nailed it! I'd only add the significant reality of the numerous fraudulent securities criminals that pay for their crimes lightly, if ever, and play a pretty good part in taking badly needed liquidity from the economy via the average citizen by taking it from the investor and putting in the hands of the common criminal. The money may only have changed hands but it is not aiding the economy (who is to a high degree the common average shareholder along with his/her household) in any positive way as it concerns the economy and its growth. Tomorrow may offer one hell of a good buying opportunity, but I'm not counting on it.
cmkxman
We may or may not regret closing out our positions today, but if the market really gaps down at the open tomorrow, you could lose too much too quickly by holding overnight. That's a very conservative and wise approach regardless the frustration. Tomorrows another day to pick and choose the next smart trade. Again, just my honest opinion.
cmkxman
Excellent post Geaux Fish! Exactly my thoughts. Very sobering and very worrisome for the long term. We've already seen all of '07 market gains disappear and we have companies stock prices trading at far under their book value. It's a scary country we live in right now. Hopefully we'll find a good bottom at or slightly above 12000 or else pick the right day to begin shorting the hell out of some overextended company whose many days of higher projected earnings are coming to an end like the economy itself, and holding that short through the coming depression so as to make a fortune ourselves. I'm rambling but I'm more than half serious. I exited SCT today at a penny less than what I paid for it yesterday as it's mirroring the INDU and I'm not sure we'll get a pullback tomorrow from todays bottom on the averages. It doesn't look good. This board is the place to be though for any potential gains! Take good care of your health Mr. Fish and your health will take good care of your wealth, JHMO.

Thanks Chartinator for your reassuring reply. It helps when others see the same thing that you do when it comes to the charting t/a. Fingers crossed for a comfortable open and an improving morning worth of trades tomorrow. Frankly, the whole market's scaring me lately. It's just bad expectation met with more bad future expectations for the economy. Problem is that when things look the worst they often turn at that moment. Happy and profitable trading!
cmkxman
Chartinator.........since you're looking at charts anyway. Please take a look at SCT and tell me you don't see a pretty fair chance at a gap up and rally tomorrow. It closed up today an additional few percent after close to 11.29% from 8% at market close. As I posted earlier, it's a Lehman bros. form 4 filing from a week ago and the Sept 07 book value of the company via Clearstation is $20.84 a share! It might be worth throwing into your portfolio for a run to the 50dma, if not better.
cmkxman
A couple M&Ms just put up large blocks on the bid for SCT @ .62 where they were there and smaller @ .60 a few minutes ago. I'm looking at a new SAR trigger today with the price riding above the 13dma and stochs/macd moving up. I'm hoping for a solid reversal.

Chartinator.........let me know what your thoughts are chartwise here if you don't mind? I just picked some up at .63 and I'd appreciate your input. TIA
cmkxman
CNXT - another winner for the portfolio! I took my profits at .68, not that there isn't the likely chance of a solid run to the next real level of resistance at the 13dma, but I wanted to ensure my profits at conservative point today. I am grateful for the play. Thanks Chartinator!!
cmxkman
Being greedy I was looking at entering ETFC or CFC today at a lower pps than either traded at today. I expected today to offer one additional leg down offering a great buy in point. I was wrong and I'm paying for it in lost profit potential. With CNXT trading this far below the 13dma, I think it's safe for holding overnight and a chance at an expected run to that 13dma as it did in a very similar candle pattern back in early Aug in 07. Will I be wrong yet again?
cmkxman
waterwisp......much thanks for your time! I'll spend some time familiarizing myself with the site. Clearstation has a lot to offer but it's far from being comprehensive or consistantly accurate. It is what it is. But, I need a source to find all those low float stocks that are flying low under the radar of the general trading community. Maybe biz.yahoo will do it for me. This is the Wealth University and it is by description a place where new traders can all learn and obtain unfamiliar resources afterall. Thank you again.
cmkxman CMKX what can I say.........
Chartinator and Geaux Fish...........I've looked at Clearstation.com to look at other stocks in the same sector as COIN, but I get this change of ticker message and redirect saying "COIN was changed to ORBD on 'Jan 10, 2001". Obviously there is a "COIN" ticker that is not the "Cybergames intl" that Clearstation identifies it as being. Is there anywhere else I can go online to find a complete and current listing of companies which are categorized under each different sector besides Clearstation??? I'd like to be looking for charts with golden crosses on the moving averages and new points of breakout vice the current points of breakdown we've been playing lately like AMD and CC and ETFC, etc, etc., etc. Not that I don't like to bottom fish. Any help on obtaining a comprehensive listing of companies within each sector would be greatly appreciated!

Chartinator,Geaux Fish or anyone with an answer...........considering COIN, I looked at Clearstation.com to look at other stocks in its sector and I got this change of ticker message and redirect saying "COIN was changed to ORBD on 'Jan 10, 2001". Obviously there is a "COIN" ticker that is not the "Cybergames intl" that Clearstation identifies it as being. Is there anywhere else I can go online to find a complete and current listing of companies which are categorized under each different sector besides Clearstation??? I'd like to be looking for charts with the moving averages on a gentle incline like COIN that offer points of breakout vice the current points of breakdown we've been playing lately like AMD and CC and ETFC, etc, etc., etc. Not that I don't like to bottom fish, but.........Any help would be greatly appreciated!
micr0
Chartinator and Geaux Fish...........COIN was a beautiful play to have watched and waited for the breakout at the previous resistance level of $4.37/.40 back in Dec. I looked at Clearstation.com to look at other stocks in its sector and I got this change of ticker message and redirect saying "COIN was changed to ORBD on 'Jan 10, 2001". Obviously there is a "COIN" ticker that is not the "Cybergames intl" that Clearstation identifies it as being. Is there anywhere else I can go online to find a complete and current listing of companies which are categorized under each different sector besides Clearstation??? I'd like to be looking for these positive charts with new points of breakout vice the current breakdown levels we've been playing lately like AMD and CC and ETFC, etc, etc., etc. Any help would be welcomed!
micr0
Gotcha! And yes it was a decent bounce. I missed it this am early or I would have taken a chance on a hammer play with it. It may provide one anyway but I wouldn't get in above $2.15 myself because I'm trying to make the best of each play and the chart doesn't look good to me today. It's costing me to wait for the more secure plays, but not so much financially, wasted energy out of frustration. Thanks for your time and thoughts.
cmkxman
Chartinator............not to come across as insulting, but why do you think ETFC has bottomed? The indicators all look pretty negative, right now (at least for today). I don't want to waste your time, but I'd like to hear some specifics because if it has bottomed, I don't want to miss it! Good call on CC btw!
micr0
Thanks for the positive supporting words and goodwill. I'm not blaming you for my misfortunes and missed opportunities. You are doing very well here. I can't afford to but I may be forced to borrow money to trade with just to be able to actually get ahead on my trades. I gave up a lot of ground with CMKX. Not so much money but lost gains and lost time and energy. Maybe 2008 will turn that all around. Thanks again Chartinator. Enjoy the holidays and take comfort in the solid gains you've aquired since you began this "Wealth University site.
cmkxman
Lost my PAL gains and then some with TCPS. Maybe .18 is the bottom but I'm not sticking around to find out. I knew I bought in too soon right after I checked the 15 min chart and saw the healthy bid disappear. What a week. I may be done trading till after Christmas. If I see an exhaustion gap tomorrow on FMD I may chance it, but right now...........nothing looks good to me.
cmkxman
Willy Wizard pumped the hell out of CMKX in it's day and I would'nt buy into anything he's sellin' but I can't speak for GBDX good or bad. I quit following all the diamond stocks after CMKX. I see now though that ShoreGold (SGF.TO) isn't making millionaires of its smaller investors either. The company CMKX hasn't declared itself finished as a company so there's no tax write off or anything other than more questions and waiting. Time will tell what the new management has to offer its 800+ billion shares worth of shareholders. Probably a hellish reverse split and another empty promise to riches to suck in new and additional shareholders. Time will tell.
cmkxman
LMAO..........no on GBDX. I avoid the stinky pinkies like the plague now thanks to Urban and his multi-million dollar advertising campaign for his scam stock. I'm actually getting over the anger finally but I won't have any positive feelings over the whole thing until I see indictments! LOL Only in America......
cmkxman
CMKX = stockscam of a lifetime?
Ditto amsource.
cmkxman
CMKX SUX SHIT from moose pasture through a hollow drill bit! Where's my million dollars Urban? Ya schmuck!
I've seen it happen many times too amsource. The ARCA quotes seem to be more a false/empty quote to give the illusion of support/resistance than a valid block of shares. Still though they do often provide that support or resistance by show it seems and moreso than not. Anyone with insight can feel free to pipe in.
cmkxman
Sorry Chart'r but I got spooked out of PAL early when the 3.7 bid began to dry up and I took profits of the small but steady 3% gain. I'm irritated over it but no worse off fiscally speaking. I bought a bit early into TCPS at .2 but I'm hoping the double .18 bid will hold and the oversold state of the 5 and 15 min charts will offer a turnaround here. Probably empty wishful thinking but fingers crossed.
cmkxman
Just picked up TCPS @ .20 even. Bid is big at .18 and looks to hopefully be the bottom for the day. Bargain basement shopping. Anyone want to join me in chewing through the .2s?
cmkxman
Let's see if PAL can have that .75 breakthrough that we didn't see eod today. Nice close nonetheless. Have a great evening fellow students and traders.
cmkxman
CMKX Stinks!
MoneyCru - http://www.allstocks.com/quotes/html/free_stock_quotes.html
Hope that helps. I use TDAtrade for mine.
cmkxman
PAL still showing strong intraday support. eom
cmkxman
Or not? lol So close and yet....not yet! eom
cmkxman
PAL - here goes .75! eom
cmkxman
If surprised Chart'r, it will be a very pleasant surprise! eom
cmkxman
PAL showing awesome support! eom
cmkxman
CMKX = SHEEEEIIIIIT!
PAL looks to be another nice pincher play. As long as it holds todays open, I'm holding overnight to see what tomorrow brings. I like the way you trade Chart'r. GLTU and all!
cmkxman
CMKX = WTF Urban?
In PAL @ 3.64! I like todays SAR trigger and I like this point of entry though it's not oversold on a 15 min chart as I'd like. Hoping for a good bottom here!
cmkxman
CMKX still SUX
