yep...the recovery has been crushed by ARCA all afternoon
i don't believe so either...see earlier post
I think we will see a close right around this .13 level.
I don't know about this warrant holder theory. I know that they're out there and that surely some are selling. But one would think that those sales would be occurring on a more sporadic basis. I mean they could have sold over the previous two days at 14,15,16. What we saw today was a high volume, consistant walk down of the pps. Just doesn't make sense that all the warrant holders got together today and kept selling 1.3m shares at lower, and lower prices. Besides, like I mentioned before, most of the selling was done by one market maker. I am sure that I am way off base, but what's new....LOL
Im guessing they were/are shorting....
strange mm activity today..mm arca has been riding the ask down almost exclusively all day...
the doors aren't wide enough to let them out fast enough! lol
Let me ask another way...for there to be a "pump and dump" as you put it, there has to be a pump. Where do you see a pump in the last many days? TIA
Best post of the day...well said
You may be on to something there...

I am not sure if it is what you mean by "pump and dump", but I can not find any evidence that DROP is currently being promoted.
IMO not much...will probably just bounce around between bid and no-bid!
I am just hoping that "traders" weren't looking for something way more substantial and rush for the exits tomorrow. Although I however thought the cc was upbeat as there were a couple new encouraging points.
yes...
Oh I agree 100%. I'm just saying that IMO today was not the start of that "breakout" that some are talking about and that we will give this penny or so back tomorrow. But who really knows, right?
I agree somewhat. The inability to close above 29 confirms that we are still rangebound between this 26-29,30. My bet is on red as well.
if you at computer there is also a live webinar..
Individuals may access the live audio webcast by visiting http://www.investorcalendar.com/IC/CEPage.asp?ID=169461
Yep...we are almost there now.
Well if it is a paid promo, I hope they didn't pay very much. Because it sure isn't working very well....almost all transactions at the bid today.
Well, I guess there is no way to really know for sure....lol
I agree the selling was disappointing. IMO day traders were getting their 20-30% and blowing out before we hit the technical resistance @ .163. We have a new base @.145 today and hopefully will level out there with a more sustainable increase to come.
I think they will talk about it. Pretty sure that's why the pr was announced ahead of time.
Yes, I thought it was rather awkward...he plugged it literally during the first question he was asked.
I agree paige...it lessens the credibility of this board. jmo
I agree....An up day would be nice for a Friday. But let's not get ahead of ourselves, it is early.
Ehhhhh....try 4pm ET.
Well friend, I will say that we should be happy to see this hold the .265 support. L2 today showed a nice size bid there, but if that keeps getting bidwhacked tomorrow we are going to test .255 (which is pretty soft support). Small chance we could end even or green without news as traders don't like to hold over the weekend. Like you've been saying..... long, hot, slow, painful summer. All IMHO of course.
Pig latin!!!! I love it. We did hold the previous support today of .265 from a TA perspective. If we break below tomorrow, .255 up next. IMO
yes....$2,500 in total dollars changed hands today. Massive loading going on here.
Well that is funny. Because I thought they were a large market maker that represents a huge number of institutional and retail clients. I have posted a link for your information. I would hardly say that they are a bunch of "day traders" as you put it. And yes, I am familiar with the term.....are you?
http://www.wikinvest.com/stock/Knight_Capital_Group_(NITE)
Can you explain what you mean by "NITE is a bunch of daytraders". thanks
Yes, it was kinda slow today. but the trade came through @ 1603
mm was probably taking a nap during the day..lol
T-trade
So what happens to the buyers that bought those naked shares if the mm's don't cover and/or provide the shares to complete the transaction?
Ok, so they are still short selling at .0001? When you say nakedly, you mean that they will not ever cover to deliver the shares to the buyer?
Oh ok...so they are not shorting it now iyo?
I don't understand what you mean "to keep it down here obviously". If the mm's are shorting, it means they are selling all these shares @.0001, correct? If so, wouldn't you only do that if you thought the price was going to go lower? TIA
Can you please advise why MM's would short at this level?
You are correct in many of your points. In fact in pennyland TA really is not all that helpful in predicting stock price. Usually this is because the only thing that moves these stocks is news and/or rumors and one never knows when those are coming. The one thing about TA I do find very helpful here are support and resistance levels. For instance if I can see that LQMT is in a gradual decline, I may look to the next support level (say .265) to add shares to my position. I am sure most here already know all this, but I thought I would respond to your post anyway. Good day.
Watts look. The bottom line is that when there is an absence of news and/or fundamental valuation, one thing we can depend on is technical analysis. I truly believe that without any news we will slowly drift down towards the next major support level which is .22. I don't hope it to be the case, but when there is no news and no fundamental updates, the charts take over. IMHO
