I agree 100%. Get off the computer and spend time watching the playoffs.
There are probably a number of investors who bought shares in AMBS's partner, Rainbow Coral (RBCC), based on the MANF hype right after the recent patent news.
I feel sorry for those individuals who bought shares in the $1.25 range. It closed Friday at .30.
Penny stock go up and they go down. I don't think what anyone posts here really has much of an effect on which direction it goes.
GLTA
p.s. I hope everyone makes a profit from their position in AMBS.
I think the following document points out some of the same challenges that any drug developed from the MANF technology would encounter in leading to an approved drug therapy:

There's a saying that says, "Don't count your chickens before they hatch."

Note the pre-clinical testing required. It's substantially more than a few rats.
MANF "could" lead to a drug in 10 years and a billion dollars having been invested.
http://www.pdpipeline.org/2011/Eithics/navagating/regulatory.htm
Current value for a buyout "if" a big pharma company wanted to invest a billion dollars is in the .33 range. Not a penny more.
The current share price is reasonable until the next dilution occurs.
All imho.
They did? At what terms?
I know the $600,000 debt can convert at .10. Why would they allow conversion at .10 for a stock that many say is worth $1.00?
Company lost almost $3,000,000 in the first nine months with only three employees. More debt and conversion is on the way.
Adios amigos time to go play golf.
A reverse split will eventually take it to .50.
It's my understanding that the preferred shares convert to about 200,000,000 common shares. I assume those are all owned by Gerald.
Anytime you try to value the company for a buyout the minimum number of shares to be used is in the 425,000,000 range and headed higher.
Without a buyout/partnership use the entire 1,000,000,000 shares and factor in 2-3 reverse split to fund the company for the next seven years if the MANF technology is to produce a marketable drug funded by the company.
"LOL!!!!" Last time I checked the company had $285.00 in cash.
Is the company going to sell shares to get cash to buy back shares?
They're going to sell debt and allow it to convert at .10 to buy back shares that are currently at .15.
Sounds like a downward spiral to me.
With a penny stock "pumpty dumpty" can happen at any time.
Ask those that bought into the RBCC hype a few weeks ago based on their partnership with AMBS. Some individuals have already lost 70%.
I'll consider buying shares of AMBS next week when it falls below .05.
If anyone thinks that the company is going to announce a partnership/buyout next week I think they're in for a major let down as is the share price.
Buy on the rumor. Sell on the "no" news.
IMHO

That's probably why you think you left Vegas a winner. :)
The maximum upside on the stock considering the current share structure is .35 assuming the company was bought right now.
A purchase probability value analysis would value the stock as follows:
100% .35
70% .245
50% .175
30% .105
10% .035
With the current MANF study data showing only slightly better data than the 2009 study which didn't bring in a buyout offer I don't think the current study will do it.
If the company tried to go it alone it would take a billion dollars and seven years to get a drug to market.
I don't see the share price falling below .07 as the current hype will substain it for some time until more useful data is available.
IMHO
p.s. Rainbow Coral's (RBCC) share price got pumped up to $1.26 a few weeks ago on the Amarantus hype. It closed yesterday at .30. A lot of bagholders in its wake.

Tell that to the individuals that bought NSRS at $1.72 just a few days after it was at two cents.
Obviously those individuals that own this at below a penny or a few cents higher and have profits somewhat locked in are the ones touting a substantial move higher.
To anyone buying now it's a coin flip.
In a week this could be at .20 or below a nickle.
Look at the share price of Rainbow Coral (RBCC), AMBS's partner. A few weeks ago the pumpers got it up to $1.26. It closed yesterday at .30.
It's a penny stock with substantial volatility ahead. Trading it makes a lot more sense than buying and holding.
IMHO
GLTA
Note: Check today's share price for NSRS.
I recall when some individuals were saying to wait to buy when this was at .013 that it was going back to .005. That was before it went to six cents.
I expect history will repeat itself in the next week or so.
Some individuals always seem to miss the opportunity to buy at the bottom.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Opens below .10 on Monday.
"The bloom is off the rose."
Please don't hold it over the weekend.
Support is at .078 or lower.
Most individuals would say no but considering this recently dropped from .169 to .014 I would say that it won't happen today.
Maybe next week but not today.
Once it breaks support at .13 it will fall like a rock to .10.
No buying and selling higher is happening here.
Shorts/sellers are hammering every attempt to do so.
Wish I was smart enough to understand what it means.
Shorts are smart. They put in a fake bid and allow the buyers to buy at the ask and then drop away the bid.
And repeat it again.
.08 on Monday is reasonable.
More profit taking and shorting to come.
1,000,000,000 shares to eventually be outstanding. It's penny stock land. It happens.
End of day dump and more selling on Monday should take it back to .08.
Almost everyone who bought and held this week will have lost money by the open on Monday.
It's a penny stock.
Volatility is to be expected.
I know I've been wrong a few times. I wish I was as smart as some of the other posters on the board. I try to do my best.
Please don't send me anymore angry/attacking private e-mails as I have no ability to respond to them even if I wanted to waste my time doing so.
GLTA
p.s. Take some profits and buy back in on Monday an hour before the close.
What time today is the next dump?
When the volume hits 10,000,000?
.10 close?
Retracement to .112 would indicate a strong consolidation for a potential move higher from there.
That is the next support level.
This may be the last day that Arena trades below $9.00. Smart money is acquiring shares here.
J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference is next week.
GLTA
p.s. Don't be on the sidelines when this gaps higher.
It's my belief that there's a 70% probability that Arena will be acquired in 2013 by a "big pharma" drug company such as Sanofi.
$22.00/share would seem reasonable with European approval happening as expected.
Interesting months ahead for the shareholders.
GLTA
First key support level is .112. The next one is .078 which is followed by .038. Place a limit buy order at each of these levels and you may get them filled today.
Penny stocks are volatile especially on Fridays.
The share price is up almost 2,500% from ten weeks ago. There are still a lot of profits sitting there if someone decides to sell and lock them in.
The current share price equates to a market cap of $150,000,000 with all 1,000,000,000 shares sold which will eventually happen as it does with most penny stocks.
GLTA
Looks as though a retracement back to .04 is inevitable.
Thanks for the chart.
Who really thought it would go to .014 on the last dump?
Eventually all 1,000,000,000 shares will be issued followed by a couple of reverse splits and more dilution.
Seven years and over $1,000,000,000 investment for a chance that an approved drug emerges from the MANF technology.
1 out of 5,000 drug candidates that enter pre-clinical trials eventually make it to market.
Interesting years ahead.
I doubt if it goes much below .12 tomorrow unless the overall market is down significantly.
Time will reveal all.
If I get a 30% on a test and you get a 40% the fact is we both get an "F".
Read the 2009 study. There's almost no difference between MANF and GDNF.
Maybe the recent study had more rats. :)

For those of you planning to visit the Tarantula site I think I've found the way to make your trip profitable.
You can probably arrange to have one of these units shipped to the site. I would think the company would welcome the increased production capacity.
http://www.goldhog.com/mini_highbanker.htm
p.s. A 50-50 split with the company on any gold you find seems fair.
Strong support at .12 today. With more selling expected tomorrow it will be interesting to see if it holds.
Did ETrade deliver the new shares yet?
GLTA
p.s. It must suck to watch the share price fall and not be able to sell at a profit.
Below .10 tomorrow if ETrade "unlocks" the new shares.
Imagine having your "new" shares locked up and watching the share price fall from .18 back to .05.
Thanks,
Gerald.
p.s. Hopefully they'll still be some profit left when they are finally available.
You may want to take profits before they evaporate. Anyone here from the last time it dropped from .169 to .014?
Just saying.
Closing at the low of the day.
Another 20,000,000 shares to be dumped.
More tomorrow.
IMHO
Millions of more shares will be "unlocked" tomorrow.
Don't try catching a falling knife. Wait until it hits the floor and pick it up.
.07 looking possible for tomorrow.
p.s. As I recall this was trading at .05 when the new shares were announced. That is where it is headed.
IMHO
Buying for a bounce today is ill advised.
Closing at the low of the day.
Everyone who buys and holds today will have lost money by the open tomorrow.
Same thing happened the last time when it dropped from .169 to .014. :(
Everyone who buys and holds today will have lost money by the open tomorrow.
Feels like .11-.12 tomorrow.
Penny stock Friday means all bet are off.
Support is at .07.
Ride it down to .08 tomorrow.
After all it was only paper profits until you sell.
More new shares available tomorrow to be sold. See you at .08.
Just saying.
Support is at .075.
