50.000 bid at 1,42 suddenly disappeared. Strange !
Walter, that could mean equity participation and full debt guaranteed by 130 million from Germany for one institution. Means minimal dilution. With a major stake it could also open door for a complete buy out in a second phase. Interesting development.
I have reasons to believe that IBC will show financial improvement in 2018. A major industrial overhaul has been realized during 2017 and it seems that the order book is well filled. The company has put priority on order fullfillment and September should have seen the first proof of a turn around. Mark Smith mentioned at the NIO ASM that Hulskamp at IBC ( who holds patents for beryllium castings) has successfully applied for a patent for a scandium and aluminium alloy and test results are imminent. We should know more when the first quarter financial results 2018 will be released and during the webcast scheduled for 21 November.
Link is not yet available on Niocorp website. Sorry for that. I deleted the presentation (pdf file) which was sent to all on line participants ( with the financing update) already. Maybe somebody else can help you.
You can still listen yourself. When asked by the audiences if he could give a specific date e.g. end of quarter 2018, Mark did not want to get bogged down on a specific date. He emphasized that due diligence processes by multiple parties were taking place and that these had serious 'traction' and that NIO depended on the time it would take. He did say that debt financing would have NIO priority, because the current SP was low.
Freedom, what happens is we are bought out by major mining company before production? Mark said he could get 100% financing. These things happen with junior mines.
I heard that IBC has now an approved patent for a scandium aluminium alloy. This is good news. IBC is giving priority to order fullfillment, it has many orders IBC is associated to NIO. I heard that there are many and diverse financing options available on the debt and equity side for NIO. Mark mentionned all have traction.I heard EPC will be selected early 2018 and will bring addional financing. Overall financing is offered from full 100% to partial financing. Financing and synergistic off takes are negotiated.Debt financing negotiated with bank consortium sharing 130 million German bank guarantee loan. Need 25 million to get engineering work moving. Operational cash will be made available. Mark did not want to commit to timing. Good listener understood could come between any day and 1q 2018. Short draft engineering report received last week, now in review mode. Final report will take another 30 days.
This board has put itself in a pretty depressive state. Here is my two cents of wisdom. I am sure that financing is not an issue. If you have been following the these super alloy metals, you know that the US, Europe and China consider these metals strategic. The Chinese have been very pro active and agressive in this field for many years. They 'own' Africa and have equity/bought in South American mines.I believe and would not be surprised if they have offered to finance Niocorp. That would be in line with their market behaviour. Even if Chinese financing cannot be accepted out of political considerations, it would sure strengthen Niocorp's negotiation power. Which means other non Chinese parties. The Germans and the Americans! Did not say somebody this is a complicated process? Trump's visit to China is timed well lol.
Let's hope we will get more information tomorrow. The mine will get build imo and the SP will rise. Pls cheer up.
That's why we should be happy to have a seasoned world class leader at the helm of Niocorp. He had done it before and he is very able tot deal with complexity of this nature.
I would recommend tot do your own due diligence first, like most here did. If you still have questions, come back and ask again. I trust that management will structure a funding package which will see the SP go up.
Walter, you are right. Profitability before year end. They are reporting quarter and full year results june2016-june2017. I expect turn around this june-september quarter, which is not reported.
There is.
Yes, please go to their Ihub site. IBC is about to release quarterly results. I expect proof of profitability now that new equiment is installed.
Bernice, we expect quarterly update anytime soon. Understood bottom line should be profitable during past quarter.
I should have written ' beat up' between parenthesis. Sorry, my mistake. Yes, I am fed up with a number of people on this board looking to interprete even positive signals negatively for distortion only.
We should see the start of a serious turnaround in profitability.
I am with you on that one. Great post.
If you followed my posts over the years you would have noticed that I always elected to be positive, ethical and not to lower my standards to some of the posters on this board. Using the wording ' fascist' in your post means you probably do not understand the meaning and emotions surrounding this term. This is not a debating club. This is about investing and money. My message, if you donot believe in NIO, go to a knitting club.
I think we should beat up anybody who states the obvious for no other reason than to put 'sand' in the machinery. If you not with NIO and its management, you are against NIO.
Revello, your remark puts you in the camp of negativity. This news should be taken as a positive commitment from MS and as a sign that a possible private placement is not opportune.
Betlem, your message is 'honey' for shorters.I know it is unintended, but time is what works in favor of 'the shorters'.The document you refer to is for debt financing. That is part of a funding package.
There are enough bottles to fill all glasses for many years to come. We will soon be released of all drunks, nay-sayers and self proclaimed critical guru's. They will disappear in the void.
Please realize volume is still relatively low. Most of us loaded up early and have no money order appetite to buy more. On the other hand if news comes out one of these days, there are no shares available. Shorts need to cover and SP will rise faster than current decline. Typical to see the suertes, sobchaks etc back in full to help everbody out of their shares.
As I said, we are close to turn around for the better. Best proof are the ' I am out' and other emotional messages today. Some are trying to fool you to sell your holdings, where as you should wait or buy instead.
Good on you. I think you will be rewarded handsomely soon.
Walter it would seem financing things are
heating up and maybe close to finalisation. Someone is trying to scare away the last few fearful retail investors. I believe we will see a turn around in the SP soon.
No use looking back. The near future holds the promise of vast rewards. Great projects attract great financing.
Well said AO. I will take your advice.
This is not dependant on a certain SP value, this can happen all the time. If retail investors sell in the near future
new and bigger ( institutional and retail) investors will likely drive SP up again. Once financing is decided, SP trend will be up and up, forcing everbody to think twice before selling too early.
Excellent video with sound.
Thx. Interesting interview with John Chambers. I guess LWLG answers all of his criteria for a succesfull start up.
Steve, the differences in confidence, control and content regarding the solutions for datacenter painpoints in the Ecoc 2017 video interviews between
Lebby LWLG and Robert Blum INTEL is so blatantly evident in favor
of LWLG, that one almost feels sorry for Blum and Intel
I hope the CEO of Intel will be watching these videos als well. If I would be in his position I would want to have a 'one on one' with Blum, first thing monday morning.
I know DD, but I like to keep reasoning. Sometimes it is to no avail, but at least I can tell myself I gave it my best shot.
Suerte, Honan in the investor call said it takes 39 months to build the mine and the processing plants with appropriate financing is in place and another 6 month to commercialization. That is 45 month. You can make your own projections now.
Suerte, we know this. You are not up to speed. Please keep yourself informed. You can join the investor update which is online now.
Thanks for Lebby video. Clear message, compelling arguments, fantastic and super enthusiastic presenter. For somebody with Lebby's scientific and photonics experience in Indium Phosphite and Silicon to talk passionately about LWLG's polymers for datacom and PIC's should even put the most cynical Ihub members in thinking mode.
Monocle, I would read that as " and/and ". Financing and off take agreements are critical to the development of the scandium market. Niocorp will need to produce niobium to be able to extract scandium. Niocorp has enforceable off take agreements for 75% of its niobium in place. So as a result of these niobium off take agreements, scandium prospects will know that reliable scandium supplies will become available to the market. For Niocorp financing should have priority over scandium off takes. That seems also the position of the management team.
Walter quote : " I am more convinced than ever!" Can you share some of your arguments for this evolution in your position?
Yes, according to the definition of an institutional investor, they are. Search the internet for the definition. They are a substantial investor in securities and get preferential treatment. Their aim is to create value for their partners (shareholders). Without value creation over time, funding will dry up for Lind.
