who were you making them for, Pablo Escobar?? ;)
out SSS...nice day flip...
LVLT_...not as pretty technically and it moves like a snail, but it's cheap...daily has a widdle hammer and the 60min short Sto is crossing...
disclaimer: entered this am...
STSA_ has been good trading...
along with SSS...
disclaimer: entered both this am...
a stock needs liquidity to trade...
hey doug, can you raise the magnification?...i think i'm missing some of the finer details... ;)
the Bucket Orchid...some of who and what i am...
Many plants have fascinated scientists and gardeners alike, as to the way they grow, flower and reproduce. Surely one of the most amazing examples of plant reproduction is the Bucket Orchid. This orchid has an intricate mechanism by which bees are attracted, trapped and then released. The orchid, which is partly shaped like a bucket, produces a rich sugary food - a nectar which is very attractive to bees. When a bee arrives to obtain some of this food, it lands on the surface of the orchid near to the lip of the 'bucket'. The surface of the orchid is slimy. This makes the bee slip and fall into the bucket that contains a pool of liquid produced by a gland in the plant. The only way the bee can escape is through a tunnel, and there is a convenient step leading from the pool of liquid to the tunnel entrance. As the bee is about to escape from the tunnel, the walls of the plant contract, gripping the bee. The plant's mechanism then glues two pollen sacs to the bee's back, and after allowing time for the glue to dry, releases it. If the bee then flies to another bucket orchid, the same process will take place, except that this time, when the bee attempts to leave the tunnel, a hook in the roof of the tunnel removes the pollen sacs, and the fertilization process is completed!
ok...if profit taking wasn't enough reason to start shorting, then the NK nuke test should rattle the cage...here's a couple i'm looking to short if we head south...
notice the Histo divergence in the last two sets of upper bars when compared to price...how the Histo slopes down and price slopes up?...i bet she's comin down....
and the flag on this one looks like it's done waiving...the Histo here is showing exhaustion...
disclaimer: no position as of 5.23
wow...that's very nice...reminds me of N.C....?
here's my spread...
cool...i'm just looking for human contact cuz trading is a lonely job...
perhaps it's time to coral the horse and blow the dust off...thought about starting a board similarly themed...will give it a shot here first...nice to meet you...
nope, i have my reasons...
i think you have the PBX cable in the wrong jack ;)
Question of the Week...
well bein that you asked and i said i would earlier...this is a only snapshot of my 20% dd effort that i do most of the time...it's intended to prevent me from stepping into a head fake just before going long or short, and is tailered to the qwik view for my ambush and dayswing protocol, unless i am putting it in my ira where i tend to hold a little longer...that was a ~little longer~...lol...then i'll read more...but market rules no matter what... http://www.nasdaq.com/
you can also view IHub's quote site and yahoo's 'key statistics' too, though i don't know how reliable the data is for the latter.
I want to know:
how many shares are in the OS
how many shares are in the float
how many shares are short
what percentage of ownership is institutional
what is the open interest on calls and puts
what kinds of SEC filings they have
what the inside buys/sales are
what the COH and debt is
what the profit margins are
what are the earnings like and when are they due (TDA is better at this function than the naz)
what's the news
and i want the Beta closer to 1.00
and i don't have an SD connection, but i didn't think anybody would mind being that you asked...
happy trails
that's a cleavage bottom!
ZLC now 22%...eom
TTWO...whole number support...
CMO breaking out of 5mo ascending triangle...
end of the stick ey? nvrmnd...
LOL...but it rolls off yer tongue nicely!
i need some DD boardspeak....
here's the rub...SSS claims that late spring and summer are their better months...today Fitch rating change is going to impact their bottom line...
technically it's a nice pattern on both the daily and weekly...and volume is shaping up for the day, would be a good late/eod entry if it breaks out...
help me out on the Fitch bitch please!
there are many vying for the opp...i like the biz model for BCON because it will be a service...nobody will buy the flywheels...they'll pay to have them provide the regulation, like an ancillary service...GL!
one more thing...with all his carbon pricing, etc, BCON would virtually kill all diesel powered responders, giving the utilities the green edge...
oh really?...my bad, never could count to 21 unless my drawers are dropped...they've been printing shares like obama prints money...insiders won't buy as long as they are giving them away....but if they can get DOE backing, then they can get some decent financing...but here's another thought...they'd never be able to meet any ramped production by themselves...lots a speculation on who might step in to meet that demand should it arise...
ROTF!...Quercus is DG and he's done so que-sera!...
oh yeah, good point on the anal-yst upgrades on CEDC...
gotta wonder how an outfit like Lehman would be allowed to give an opinion on anything...
you must be talking about David Galbaum...everyone thought he was BCON's hero...lol...and their distribution has diluted the hell out of the float...but none of that will matter if they can get a DOE guarantee and a contract for many megawatts...
and CEDC...who drinks more, the US or Europe?...lol
and that story has been trading for yeeeeeaaars...maybe it's about to happen now, we'll see...they've got some military apps in the fire too...
you'll find that they've been paying everybody in shares as most emerging growth do...so their numbers suck, but if you diligence who and what they are doin 'it' with, it's encouraging...tear it up Brig!!...i'd love to hear your take!
BCON is cycling thru it's handle off of a 9mo C&H formation...the daily Sto is bottomed and turning...there is tsf/ama cross about to happen (on my software) that is bullish, the short Chailkin Osc is just nearly crossing zero and the Aroon 8 down is 87.5 and this is all happening around the 200ma...
on the fundie side, they are going to regulate the grid.
too many pimps?...still has intriguing technicals...
CF...i love it when a stock is up 2$ on only 2%!...but i don't own it :(...too much candy, not enough nickles!
BCON_another falling wedge with some very interesting funnymentals behind it...
spot on NM! first shoulder in feb...
CEDC_...falling wedge with a buy at 22.50 on good volume...
SSS...low volume alert on potential breakout...be careful.
ZLC up 14%..eom
IHS_ already broke the wedge on 5/8, regrouped and is now over the 200...looks pretty strong...
no position
yes they have NM...looking for continuation on MDVN and CF...MDVN will likely gap a little 2mro and CF is close to a 50/200 cross, but both need to cycle thru the shorter time frames before entry, imo...and SSS is proby safer above 23, though not in the morning...all pending a decent market...
SSS_MDVN_CF for continuation or breakout...depending on market direction...
no short potentials noted due to golf...
no positions...
