Nice find, Zac! As we learned last year, the country (for the most part) shuts down hardcore for the holidays; December 12th thru January 6th.
I bet AMLO will lay forth a timeline himself either tomorrow or Monday.. as always, moving targets. Going off history though, they gave the first announcement of civil construction projects on November 27th, 2019. I think the date speaks to the fact that they wanted to get it done before December.
Unless we were to get a huge PR from Ward updating us on the financing, this event is the next catalyst to move the needle. All eyes on this next package of the National Infrastructure Plan. "More energy"
If I had to bet, I'd go with December 7th.
MRGE$$$$$$
Me too! That was exciting. Fits exactly what we are looking for.. A public-private partnership between PEMEX & Mirage/Northern Hem for the C||T.
Labor for our part provided by the Sindicato Nacional de Infraestructura.
Beautifully designed. Well done, Ward.
I can't for the market to catch up!
Antonio Luna answered in Spanish! lol
Does anybody know what he said? haha
Also, Isthmus Master Plan to be presented this month. This too should be insightful for us:

DJProulx, I fully agree with your statement. And according to Carlos Salazar this past Friday, he said the second package of infrastructure projects would be presented by the end of the year.
Nevertheless, I’m looking forward to the insights we may gain from this event. Sure would be helpful to know Spanish. Lol
I personally don’t think this is our formal announcement, but I do expect some good details and insights!
Looks like the Transoceanic Gas Line will be discussed tomorrow at this event:
On November 12, [10am CST] API Coatzacoalcos will make a presentation that will include information on the development of the Interoceanic Corridor of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec and related infrastructure investments.
The Interoceanic Corridor of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, the main infrastructure project undertaken by the current Mexican government, takes as its axis of economic dynamics the concept of the Multimodal Interoceanic Corridor to take advantage of the geostrategic position of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec and compete in the world mobilization markets of merchandise, through the combined use of various means of transport.
Among the infrastructure works considered by the project, he listed: modernizing the Isthmus of Tehuantepec railway, modernizing the ports of Coatzacoalcos and Salina Cruz, strengthening road and rural road infrastructure, as well as the construction of a gas pipeline to supply companies and consumers domestic. In addition, a fiber optic line will be laid along the Isthmus to strengthen digital connectivity for the benefit of companies and communities in the region.

News to me: Horacio Zarate is the VP of the CCE in Veracruz! This is significant because the CCE works closely with AMLO on the National Infrastructure Plan. And Mirage has an agreement with Horacio Zarate to obtain and file all necessary permits for all three projects.
More news:
Horacio just gave a "vote of confidence" for the Dos Bocas refinery project. Note that just two weeks ago, Rocio Nahle announced they were expanding the scope of the Dos Bocas refinery to receive gas from the San Fernando Cactus Pipeline. No wonder why he endorses the project!
Horacio's vote of confidence

Nahle's announcement two weeks ago:

Perhaps! Hopefully we get an update. We usually do after their meetings in the national palace.
Salazar Lomelin says “by the end of the year”
I’m hoping that our projects are announced Separately

Under the unbinding MOU with OMD, it would remain unbinding until the good will deposits of $15,000,000 were received. Only then would the deal would become binding. IF OMD backed out, they would still owe Mirage $10,000,000. If Mirage backed out, nothing would be owed. Clearly the latter is what happened.
Why? My speculation is that based off of the Argus Media interview 1 month after the MOU w/ OMD was signed, Ward revealed he found better terms. In the PR he expressed that after he sold the company to OMD, Mirage would have a 5% carried equity participation interest. In the Argus Media interview 1 month later, he expressed that their financing deal would allow for Mirage to hold a minority stake of less than 20% upon selling the company to the financiers. Sounds like better terms!
Others who were around at that time may know better.
There’s always the possibility. And we the anxious shareholders will grasp at it to calm our nerves.
I LOVED hearing the CFE last week declare they are opening up pipeline space to the private sector.. and if that weren’t enough, naming the Transoceanic Gas line (by name) and the San Fernando (by description) that feeds it as the main examples!
I’ll keep my nose in the news. I’m looking for the next prospective date to get my hopes up for. Soon, we will no longer be let down!
Not necessarily. Weekends are actually the norm for the new project inaugurations. The events usually start on Fridays and continue thru the weekend.
GRRReat article, Macod! Says it all. It should be amazing to us that Horacio Zarate was speaking about the necessity of these renegotiations back in June. Now are we seeing the CFE confirming that they were going through with them "aggressively". This is one side of the coin, the other, our projects:
______________________________________________________________________________________
Horacio Zarate, June 25th:
“If there is no natural gas, there is no production and currently the Federal Electricity Commission is going through one of the most bitter technical and financial moments. Last year they lost more than 29 billion pesos in technical failures ”.
He considered that due to the current stage of financial crisis, the government of Mexico and the CFE, in their National Energy Plan, as well as austerity, are going through the right moment to review all contracts inherited in past administrations.
“The clauses on natural gas costs could be thoroughly reviewed, together with times, suppliers, forms of payment, dollar price and favorable conditions for the country, since it is known that there are uncompetitive prices that make the generation of gas more expensive. electricity, substantially increasing the electricity rates in Mexico ”.

Every Monday they present the progress of the AMLO “pet” projects.. the Isthmus being one of them. I didn’t see anything remotely close to a formal announcement. However, at the very end, without any commentary on what we were looking at; this picture popped up as the last slide.. a welder working on a pipeline:
CFE Tweet: Transoceanic Gas Line by name
— CFEmx (@CFEmx) November 6, 2020
Well, Macod- the NGI boys are soon to be clueless no longer!! This is importante! Read the tweet thread.
CFEnergia says it will open up natural gas capacity to the private sector, has formed a "new area" to carry out process https://t.co/4dVPunFUvu

You’re in the money, LiveFree!
50 years has a nice ring to it!
From his other tweet, I could be reading it wrong, but Horacio doesn’t sound too fond of Engie & Naturgy’s gas prices to the end user? The standardization of pricing is what Mirage will accomplish the Burgos Hub; correct?
Ponte a trabajar .
— HORACIO ZARATE (@jhoraciozaratea) November 3, 2020
Awesome. Very encouraging!!
This has been riveting my mind all week... someone explain to me why the Mayakan pipeline built by Engie Mexico (parent company Engie SA) is identical to the pipeline Mirage shows in our PR?
Last detail to be revealed?
Notice how when we first saw this infographic in the Mirage PR’s, we knew nothing of the blue interconnects shown. We knew nothing of the red interoceanic gas pipeline shown.. or what seems to be a much larger “off take “ pipeline heading south to J&E in Chiapas. (It’s a different color than the off take lines in the PR. Looks much more like a main line.. cough cough.. Central America exports).
Nearly every line shown in our PR’s info graphic has been revealed... Puebla, Guanajuato, J & E, the Transoceanic Gas Line... except for this stretch into the Yucatán!!!
This Mayakan line was built 20 years ago.. but it’s been empty with natural gas. The Cuxtal line was built earlier this year to help, but according to Bnamericas will unlikely solve the problem. Here comes Mirage, taking two unused assets and bringing them into service. Perhaps this is why the Mayakan just began their open season on the 19th of this month. They’re in preparation. Are they buying us out? Are we buying this line or creating some partnership around it? Not sure. But this piece, like the others will, will soon be revealed.. it is the last piece!

INDEED!
This is BIG..
The US Ambassador, Christopher Landau, arrived in the Isthmus this morning to meet with the Governor of Oaxaca, Alejandro Murat, and the General Coordinator for International Relations in the Isthmus Program, Pedro Matar.
Christopher’s first trip to Oaxaca? It was in Salina Cruz, Oaxaca on 9/10/2020 where we saw Ward with these very men reviewing the Isthmus oil pipelines.
Oh what could this be about!!!!!!!?
Un honor y un gusto recibir en representación del Gdor. @alejandromurat, al Emb. de Estados Unidos en México 🇺🇸, Christopher Landau y a su esposa en su primer viaje a Oaxaca. This article covers the significance of what happened Tuesday night. I think its worth reading. IMO the Mexican government/ the C||T is really going about this program in the right way by consulting with and catering to the indigenous people. Of which, 6/10 live in poverty or severe poverty. This is an oil project, but also a social project and a strong political move for AMLO.
Also, according to the comments during the livestream; Rafael Marin was naming off the developments being brought to the area and apparently referenced the oil lines in the isthmus that had been scrapped by PEMEX. These two lines are being rehabilitated under Phase 1 of our Isthmus project.

The Gift!!!!
Well said GasClown- and ALL, I do apologize for contributing to the emotional roller coaster. Please understand I’m a victim of my own doings as well.
On the edge of my seat since the Whistler Pipeline interconnect agreement was signed in October 2019.. trying to get better at “chilling” and “enjoying the ride!”
Well said, Penny! Truly unbelievable.
It appears a declined stock price tries the hearts.. out comes the envy and accusations.
You’ve contributed a ton to this board. Thank you.
Macod the anchor! I 100% agree. For me, it comes down to one word inked on the Mexican Government Projects document.... “Ejecución”
Good as gold! A PR stating the same will sky rocket us.
90 days for new gas pipeline PERMITS according to the CRE website. Ward said 60 to 90 in the Argus Media interview in April 2019.
I'm not certain on the duration for a consignment and permit on an existing pipeline. To me, it makes sense that the process would be SIGNIFICANTLY shorter than the permitting process for a new pipeline.. wouldn't you say?
it's hard to find information on the internet regarding such a rare event. It's not everyday Mexico is handing over pipeline assets to the private sector. And its not every day you stumble across the penny stock that they are handing them over to!
https://www.argusmedia.com/en/news/1886216-qa-texas-mirage-bets-on-mexico-natgas-storage
https://www.gob.mx/cre/articulos/preguntas-frecuentes-sobre-solicitudes-de-permisos-de-distribucion-de-gas-natural-por-medio-de-ductos
I know - this investment in the first place, from the outside looking in, is hard to believe!
And I’m not insinuating that you accumulated 9 million from trading MRGE.. but from practicing strict adherence to the trade rules you have followed.
You’re smart, Penny. It is no wonder that you have 9 million shares.
Good data, Macod. Thank you.
Its very encouraging what the Trump Administration is doing for the energy sector as we approach the election. Once we receive our presidential permit for the Concho Line, it too should be authorized for export through December 31st, 2050.

Department of Energy Extends Additional LNG Export Authorizations Through 2050
Excerpts:
Today, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) extended the terms of three long-term liquified natural gas (LNG) export authorizations through 2050.
The United States is among the top three global exporters of LNG and its operating export capacity is expected to increase by more than 50% by the end of 2025.
"The continued success of U.S. LNG exports, especially for power production in European and Asian markets, is helping our friends and allies meet their global emissions reduction goals, while supporting U.S. energy sector workers and infrastructure investments.."

I didn’t see him
My favorite part from tonight was that the abandoned oil lines in the isthmus were brought up... to my knowledge, up until tonight, MX hadn’t said a word about them.
Good point DC!
Totally in line imo...
now the comments about Ward being a drunk and with women? Not okay.
Thanks, Juancy! And great point Dr Berry.
Hopefully this is the liberty Ward needs to release PR.
