I will review the financials and comment later, for sure :)
Correct-submitted to avoid penalty and refile.
That would be 10/9/19 :)
I started following MELI at $50 and it is going to be as fun watching JMIA. Eased into 1000 shares Friday and early today.
Welcome everyone! I am sure that this board will be every bit as interesting as Jumia Technologies. Let's use this forum to both educate ourselves and profit from trading in this exciting company.
JD! One thing that will certainly propel this is a concrete $-related contract figure or figures. The investing public loves numbers, and it seems like the this is the only thing lacking to this point, given where we and the sector are currently at.
Perhaps "contracts" are not happening right now, but more agreements or individual orders. I am not sure if contracts are the norm in the cloning biz. You need clones-you order. You don't need clones-you don't order. It would be hard to agree on a clone contract, as a grower, because many things can delay or even hasten the time to harvest and the eventual clone order.
Distribution is another thing, where contracts are commonplace. I think with the cloning aspect of the business that what we will see are monthly numbers, like" Livewire orders double to 30,000 clones for May", or "revenue from cloning operations doubled over same period last year".
Either way, things should improve both in number and quality, given the growth pattern so far :)
Sox bear in mind that there is much to be done before Paso will be fully operational. Bill is probably less in a hurry to get the CalCannabis license than he is to complete the build-out and stress test of the facility. I think that if they start to small time the Paso facility by trying to get small numbers of clones to mkt. that their broader focus and energies will get diluted. Nonetheless, they do need to get revs going there and I am sure Bill has a attack-plan going forward. They had a lot of time to think about it.
Yep, the big boys are letting companies like High Hampton, LVVV and a slew of others establish their footprints and then they will come in and buy them at premium prices and scale the hell out of the operation(s). It's like what happened in the corn and wheat belts. Sooner or later, MOST of these pinkies will stall out on their limited capital and NEED to be bought in order for their ventures to scale out.
A select few will have balanced growth in operations and revenues to forego the need for outside financing, but these companies will be the exception, not the rule. Fewer still will grow into billion dollar companies and command their own destinies.
Sox 4-6 weeks is safe to assume. I will look into more when I get a little time-have a nice weekend.
MD we'd all like to think that one could snap their fingers and BOOM-we are a big-time clone provider/distributor. In some ways, I am glad that we ARE going slowly. This way, once the Fed legalizes medical and the banks are on board we will be more-prepared. Coachella to Paso Robles is a HUGE step up.
The good news is that a LOT of cultivation permits are going out in the Central California Coast, especially Buellton and Lompoc. Livewire will almost have to TRY to fail to not succeed. There's just a vast amount of weed being cultivated and Livewire is in the right place/right time.
Maybe we start producing seeds-those seem highly profitable ($100 for 6-10 seeds depending on strain/producer). It's the Oklahoma Land Race all over again, and we are way out there in front.
How about LVVV being up 843.33% in just over 2 years?
Niiiiiiiiiiice. I said some time ago NOT to overlook the distribution aspect of LVVV's business model. Everyone here was right about LVVV-perhaps timing was off, but right nonetheless.
I say again the distribution, branding and partnering will be the gold mine. Cloning is also at the "root" of this industry.
Let's look at the current situation for both Coachella and Paso Robles.
In Paso Robles, there are only 2, yes 2, CalCannabis licenses currently active, both for "medium grow" operations.
Number of "nursery" operations-zilch-so GHC Ventures will most-likely be the first. Surprised to see that SLO Cultivation is not on there, but it shows you things are TIGHT:
In Coachella, we are one of four companies to hold a CalCannibas license:
First to move, feet on the ground-I'm starting to think these guys just might pull this off!
Morning all-had a busy week so hope you all have a good weekend. LVVV looks like a champ. As I sit back and see how the whole sector/industry is evolving, it becomes clear that LVVV/GHC will have a valuable position in the sector going forward. Foot print and "first to move" is huge, and you can bet your life (or someone else's) that once we see banking come on line, once we see Fed easing, once we see Federal legality of medical we will see the M & A flood gates open. The big boys are sitting back and letting companies like LVVV do the initial heavy-lifting. The permits, licenses and distribution channels that are being established NOW will be the golden tickets going forward. The big boys (Big tobacco/alcohol/pharma) will be more than glad to pay premium prices for companies that have what they want and need-immediate exposure to the sector.
LVVV is a long term hold of mine, but it is my bet that they get bought for a hefty premium. If Fed legalization brings US companies to the NASDAQ, then all hell will break loose, as institutional money comes into the fray.
Downside is minimal in my view. The question for me is not if LVVV will get purchased, only for how much. We lack certainty in many areas of this scenario, but one thing we all know-every grower needs clones. The clone is at the heart of this entire industry.
True that. As well, revenues attract investors, and they also make it easier to secure funding. A healthy balance sheet is what every business strives for, yet few achieve. I like Bill's moxie.
JD we knew that news was coming, now perhaps the flood-gates open :D Things are now coming into focus and it look like Bill is constructing a cannabis Hydra-something for everyone. I see the strains being branded with vaporizers, edibles, pre-rolls-the list is endless.
Glad for everyone here that this is taking shape.
The goal of every capitalistic venture, indeed.
Holy Jesus-imagine when Paso Robles comes online.
I'd love to hear more about BRANDING from Bill. Hope I'm not being a stickler, but Livewire Ergonics and GHC Ventures tells me nothing about what, where, when, why or how. If we are selling clones, wouldn't it be better to be branding under a relative name? Even GHC Clones would suffice. Maybe the vagueness is intentional? Some mention of clones, nursery, genetics, etc. is important when you start out, to me anyways. I know, a lot of big brands make it without the correlation, but what I am seeing is that most affiliate "clones", "genetics", "cann", etc.
Maybe we can send in names lol
GHC Clones
GHC Cutz
GHC Genetics
One of my favs in our backyard in Paso Robles is SLO Cultivation-it's actually perfect.
Thoughts? Are these simply the yammerings of a coffee-adled armchair CEO?
Sox JD is correct-it is a domain name for GHC Distro, from February I believe. It's nothing Earth-shattering, but it shows that something is in the works.
Looks like a GHC Distro site should be coming to a theater near you!

With all that LVVV is accomplishing, they are becoming VERY attractive to other, bigger fish. This has acquisition written all over it. Companies entering the game now are seeing the MOUNTAIN you have to climb to be in the game, and the companies grabbing the brass ring NOW will be richly rewarded going forward.
My brothers nibbling.........
As long as it doesn't get too big! So, I was thinking this morning about the barriers to entry in this clone sector, and we have mentioned before that LVVV has laid a lot of groundwork here. Now, will it be that everybody else follows behind us, after we do all the heavy lifting and machete work? I think not-everyone entering this clone niche will have to do all that has been done to now by Bill. So, just assuming that in fact the EXPLODING California cultivation landscape is going to occur (like f'ing duh!!), then it's Bonanza time and we will look back and wonder how anyone could have doubted it would happen. Salinas Valley-produce cultivation for the world and the next leg is cannabis.
Paso Robles may be Bill's "Einstein" achievement going forward.
If gut feelings count for anything
If gut feelings count for anything I do think that LVVV is going to be forthcoming with solid PR's soon. I believe that Bill MUST be keen to the demand for clones, or he would not be traveling down this road.
It's a huge niche, but will growers out-source clones or grow their own? Will LVVV best-serve the small growers and med/recreational patients? Quite a few companies are in this niche, but LVVV is the only public one that I know of.
I feel that the demand in California is huge and the we are at ground-zero for both growth and demand. It may be a bumpy ride, but Bill has the keys to the Kingdom.
This site is for entertainment purposes only :)
Announcing even a $5,000 order would reflect well on the company at this point. Radio silence will cost shareholders in the short-term. Anyone saying that LVVV doesn't need revs to move---well, apparently all the licenses and permits in the world have not only failed to advance us, we are down 50% from recent highs alone. Revenues are the ONLY thing that will move us.
LVVV better be pulling some humungous-assed rabbits out of it's hat. We need revs to build out Paso Robles. The permit/operational costs accumulate daily, so revenues need to be generated daily as well.
Time is the enemy in business-expenses are constant.
Thank you for clarifying. I think some states will be more MJ friendly than others. Calif. seems to tax everything, and too much. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

JD would know, but I believe it is their non-profit venture in So. Cal.
So why did PNTV make a 180 on the Salinas deal?? They act as though cultivating in California is not feasible? So all of the other 1000's of permit applicants and permit holders are wrong about this sector?
That whole deal stank from the beginning, and the terms of the deal broke it, not the concept itself. So Argentina may be a good play, but the investing public doesn't like 180's, as they reflect VERY poorly on management.
Sox it is my guess that Paso won't be ready for clone #1 for a while, anyway. Building permits most-likely required for every phase of build-out, and unless you have a crack-team pulling heavy hours the progress will be slow. Future looks bright, but how long will it take, and how are we paying for the Paso improvements? Loans? Retained earnings (prob. not)? Restricted shares/dilution? Is LVVV going to pay for it or are we, the shareholders, going to pay via reduced net ownership?
With so many details blurry, if visible at all, even a highly-qualified guess is still a leap of faith. I like the vision, but we might all feel better if some of the standard business practices and procedures were spelled out a bit more, instead of leaving us to figure it out via twitted tweets on Twitter.
I would welcome funding and feel that if the vision is good, others can see it as well. Venture capital perhaps. Just nothing resembling the Shady Realty deal lol
We've come a long way, and 2018 had many victories. The current share price is the result of LVVV's vision being ineffectively communicated to Joe Investor. You can't effectively invest without knowledge. The lemmings coming into this sector blindly are a bit more educated now.
What would Warren Buffet think?
Interesting to note how products are being developed as "strain specific". LVVV is on the right track if this is the case.
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Feb. 12, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Yield Growth Corp. (CSE:BOSS) (OTCQB:BOSQF) (Frankfurt:YG3) is pleased to announce that it has finalized product formulations and selected all THC and CBD strains for its first 9 products to launch in Oregon through a 400 retail distribution network.
