Kpo: that .001 is hard to believe. Could you point me to that information please? Thanks!
Thank you Sterling, very good, very useful information. I have always been a true believer in AMMX myself, and have always found Marty to be polite, helpful and well-informed.
Ivory: thanks, excellent post. I'm sure that Marty would be delighted to see your comments if offered in the spirit of friendly advice, especially your recommendation of hiring local techies to fix their website. It's unlikely that website design is one of Lee's strengths.
Me thinks too.
This rally is based on facts. Previous rallies were based on dreams.
You get the feeling that they are finally getting their act together, putting a sound business plan in place piece by piece. I wouldn't be surprised if they actually pay a dividend out of full-year 2016 net profits.
Funati + Bull: 2 points:
1. The recent announcement of 1Q 2016 results was the best for years- 1 Q net profit as much as the whole of 2015. A game- changing result.
2. Yes there is some extra excitement in the air, with several broad hints from management of big events round the corner.
I started buying AMMX 6 years ago and have a lot of shares. Every year since then their net profit has improved but dilution and excessive management optimism has held the SP back. There has been a marked improvement in sentiment over the past few months, 1Q2016 result was fantastic, they are taking serious steps towards audit, and their painstaking long-term efforts to find new and larger business opportunities are about to succeed in a big way. I expect 2016 to bring record profits and a much higher SP. 2017 will be even better. They are finally generating the cash flow needed for a period of strong, profitable expansion. This is a wonderful investment opportunity.
Thanks Ivory, great summary.
Ivory: that's not what Lee says. He's still working on them, and says that his forthcoming agent deal will help him over there.
Fantastic, breakout 1Q result.
Lee projected $1.9m for 1Q 2016 revenue but no profit prediction.
Yes, thanks Private. In a well-ordered world the transport minister would then have immediately called Lee and asked him to speed the truck deal up.
I ask the other AMMX moderators: is it appropriate for a moderator to refer to the company and its directors, constantly, as "POS"?
I think the whole tone has changed. Container-loads of money coming our way.
ORCA: don't you think that your negative comments might influence some of your 1,868 followers to sell the stock? But you don't want to make a loss? Hard to understand your logic.
ORCA: if you believe the CEO of this company is so dishonest, why are you still on this board?
We are all very happy for you.
4/12/16 low: 0.0061
4/29/16 close: 0.009
Up 48% in 17 days: looks like progress to me.
ORCA: well, you change your mind quite often. I predict a great announcement from AMMX quite soon, and you doing a u-turn to the bullish side once more.
A reminder from AMMX release of 3/14/16:
"...The entire management team looks forward to a banner year for the company beginning with revenue for the first quarter (of 2016) of approximately $1.9 million.
Compare with AMMX release of 5/18/2015:
" First quarter (of 2015) revenue of $936,000."
So, good steady progress is being maintained. Add to that, remember Lee's comment at the CC on 3/25/16:
"....I am involved in several large possible expansions so we can get involved in as a company and not something that we can discuss yet but in my opinion it is absolutely possible that we could raise the value of the company to get to $0.15 or $0.20, I have no doubts."
How can we not be bullish about this company?
Thanks Buddy, spot on!
Why would those people want to sell at the current depressed share price? In their shoes I would wait for the expected improvements in the company's business and audit, and sell at a higher price.
I'd prefer them to use any spare cash to generate new business.
Sorry I meant 90m shares.
This is probably just a technical hiccup. Fundamentally their interests are the same as ours. Even the annoying 90m shares will have strengthened the balance sheet by reducing long-term debt.
I don't understand. This kind of thing should be on the CFO's regular to-do list, if she is at all qualified for the job.
I think the SP is holding up quite well under pressure from some heavy sales.
Tyburt: I agree with you 100%. Lee's efforts seem slow and sometimes unsuccessful but what I see is 7 years of steady improvement and growth, soon to be rewarded with some excellent pieces of news and the SP taking off.
This is annoying and shows they don't have a proper respect for "outside" shareholders. However:
1. The company's directors and staff have a vested interest in a higher share price.
2. The latest cc had a VERY positive tone. There was talk of a post-dilution SP of .12 to .15, which I believe was based on the directors' knowledge of large increases in business on the way this year.
So, hold on, this is still an excellent investment.
The cc before last, Lee was asked if he planned to issue further shares. His reply was something like "No, except to staff in lieu of salary." I didn't expect the amount to be so huge.
The prospects are excellent but actual revenues are what matter.
Lee's tone in the conference call was very positive and realistic, and he's talking from a position of increasing financial strength. This is a very solid investment. I expect at least .10 by year end, and even then I wouldn't be selling.
What I hope for, and in fact expect, is evidence that Lee is casting his net widely, different countries, different types of deal. He is an energetic salesman who knows his own business thoroughly. But the market is very competitive, not every lead results in a sale.
Ameramex has made extraordinary progress over the past six years while I have been a shareholder:
2009: sales $8.3m, net loss $ 501,000.
2015: sales $8.3m, net profit $1,124,000.
This is the best possible indication of good, focused management. They have said that 2016 will be a banner year for the company. I believe it, and continue to be the strong, long- term holder of a large number of their shares.
Mike: you're right, there are some early spring shoots showing in the AMMX garden. African violets maybe?
I agree with you Born. Lee has been held back for years by a lack of cash, but now he has some he is taking steady steps towards audited respectability. This together with solid business gains can only be good news for long-term investors. We should see a good increase in SP by the end of April 2016.
At the last CC I think Lee said he would be giving shares in lieu of cash to senior staff as a bonus at the end of 2015. Can we find out how many shares that was? I don't know where to look. In any case I doubt that it would be much in relation to total shares on issue.
I'm still hanging on myself. I'd lose my shirt if I sold, so I'm not selling!
I'm with you Born, not with the perpetual pessimists. Why don't they just sell up and go away?
