I'll go out on a limb here and say we see a market crash tomorro or fri
Black Swan sighting:
http://blog.kimblechartingsolutions.com
Have a great trip!
Maybe you'll come back to the black swan you were talking about in the last post. This could finally be it!!
All the best to you...
I think it's a portent of an imminent stock market collapse . Short squeeze in play the last 10
I agree with you on the capitalism part. Creditism is what has helped the US fuel its expansion from '45 unto the present moment and with that the idea of the " American Dream" for the average American. Soon as the markets react to bad news is good etc... And wake up we will or are on the verge of recession which, is bad for stocks.
There's no doubt much of last week's strong gains in stocks was due to short covering.
So the big question is whether fourth quarter GDP is going to be anything to write home about – because if it isn't, the US economy could see three consecutive quarters of growth averaging very close to 1%. That may not meet the official definition of a recession, but it's damned close.
Third quarter earnings are just starting to be reported and are expected to be lousy. Bad news better be good news because that's likely to be all there is in the weeks and months ahead.
I wish u the best..
I expect volatility to return these next two weeks.
Buying gold down the road
I gues we just keep a stash of bubbly nearby every time the bubble pops
I see the fed moving towards NIRP.
They have no other choice. Once the market implodes maybe they'll also give DMF a try . QE to the people. Fun times ahead for sure
It's nauseating isn't it! But, al least we know the markets are rigged unlike the poor sheep out there who have faith in the markets, the fed, and our govt. Having the knowledge is half the battle and being positioned properly is the other half. I firmly believe that those who trade TVIX we'll be rewarded to take advantage of the manipulation. If anything, it's taught me patience and perseverance, and not to overreact to the daily fluctuations. I wish you all the best
I'm Sicilian
It's going to happen this month. Play the game the fed plays buy more on the dips. When the panic comes and the exodus begins they won't be able to sustain the markets. It's inevitable.
High yield credit hits new 52 week lows
I wish u the best
Looks like retail is going to get slaughtered
This October is going to be exciting to say the least
I like your market sentiment
Indeed, last October was an excellent month of trading in TVIX. I expect it to be an even better October all the way through the new year. Good luck to you.
We all remember the October 15 flash crash of 2014. A number of short positions unwound as well as a decline in order book depth and liquidity vanished. Yields dropped 30 basis points and within 15 minutes yields shot back up to close above the previous day's close. For such a significant price move to rapidly occur without a significant catalyst in one of the worlds most liquid markets in such a short period of time is highly unusual. Hmmm ... The reality is the bond market is highly illiquid and that the slightest perturbation will bring a systemic crash to the system..
We could witness a simultaneous crash of equities and bonds... Happy trading. I'm long TVIX
If they go to NIRP, which I think they will. Wouldn't that cause huge inflationary pressure among commodities? I'm interested in knowing your thoughts...
Lol! No we are not! Fed is going to lose all its credibility in the coming weeks...
Market sentiment is very negative..
The markets are just waiting one large negative event.
It's no longer buy on the dip.
But, run for the hills.
Bloodletting tomorrow
I think GS is way off. Market sentiment is negative overall. I'm calling for a correction this week.
Excellent post !
Good post. A wild week it was. Not for the faint of heart. I expect big things this coming week. I'll call it: the great unraveling. Have a good weekend.
Who doesn't love TVIX,?
Quad witch today.
Let's see more volatility at the close
Mon- wed was nothing but a final pump. Now we see a major correction coming in the next week. The fed is impotent. Insolvent. And irrelevant
Just like it has in prior statements, the Fed's Open Market Committee painted a picture of a stable and growing economy that was just about ready for a tightening cycle to begin. Its decision to hold off for now was positioned as a temporary concession to largely overseas developments. But the Fed, and the rest of the economic establishment for that matter, continues to ignore the steady torrent of negative data that reveals a slowing economy. Based on the manufacturing, business investment, productivity, and consumer confidence numbers, the Fed could be preparing a fresh round of stimulus, not readying its first economic sedative in nine years.
But if the market crashes before QE to infinity do you really think it would instill confidence in the market? NIRP HERE WE COME
Thanks! I needed it! Got crushed yesterday!! Volatility back next week.
What a ride! Sold before 2 and bought at the bottom!! A dream trade!
Sorry , I got back to you late.
Sounds good. You were right.!
I'll go give $10 to the local shelter.
I m a dog lover. So it's a great cause.
All the best Gld!
Gld- u called tues ! Great call. I unfortunately did not listen. I wish I did. Anyway I believe volatility comes roaring back on Monday....
Would u like to make a gentleman's wager on interest rates tomorrow?
Say $10 to the winner?!
I say $10 and they raise rates.
Oh and Happy Birthday!
All the best.....
Great post. I agree wholeheartedly.
And when the tsunami finally comes and it's beyond their manipulative control, I'll be the first to tell them to drown in their own bull---shit
Thx for that recap.
So we should expect volatility all week. No rate hike thrs. A market rally. And then G-d only knows next week.
Btw the Shemitah cycle ends tomorro.
Since '73 there has always been a drop. ??? ????
Wouldn't it be hilarious if the fed throws a curve ball on everyone and raises rates and by next week we have a crash.
It's also the end of the shemitah cycle. A crash has followed since 73
Next 10 days are gonna be fantastic. No one can call a crash. But i bet anything ones coming like a tsunami in the next 10 days..IMO
Agreed. Add tomorro is 9-1-1
