Time will tell. It always does.
Wow, shorty is really kickin FnF in the junk! I wanna load up a bit more, but I love a good deal... to wait, or not to wait. That is the question. :D
I think he's holding on to them as a bargaining chip. If the Dem's go beyond just an impeachment inquiry, he can threaten to release the docs and possibly send an bunch of those mofos to jail. Obama won't go to jail, but I'm pretty sure the release of those docs would put a nasty stain on his presidency. All that said, this is election politics inside the beltway. Lotsa chess playing... at our expense.
Good thing you don't own any shares then. I certainly wouldn't if I had those thoughts swirling around in my head.
Have a question about institutional buying. Will the big boys start throwing money at FnF while they're still trading on the otc, or might they have to wait for up listing? Just wondering if it's a justification of legitimacy thing.
Well, thanks shorty for bringin pps down, on just 1/3 the average volume, so I could pick up a few more shares. That said, I can't wait for FnF to blast off and give you a solid kick inda nutz on the way up!
I'll probably reconsider buying in once it hits a buck. At this point tho, I'd rather just wait on SOLO.
Agreed
Good luck Navy, you've been a good source of info as well an excellent cheerleader for FnF. Not gonna be a one-upper and say I have a buttload more shares than you do, cause I don't. But, I hope the shares I've accumulated over the past 6 years pay off in the near future. Early retirement is the new "American Dream."
GLTA (Except for the anti-commons. I hope they get the bare minimum)
Wasn't thinking about doing all that... but, why the hell not. I'll even be sure to bust out the Dapper Dan Pomade for this one! lol
Dude, just give it a rest. Nio has lost 1/3 of its value in 2 trading days, and 80% of its value since March. Nio's LOD breached the $2 and it will probably be down to $1 by weeks end. Is that why you decided to come over here to spread the gospel of Nio and abandoned the Nio board for the morning?
I love these posts. It means shooters are dumpin in order to set us up for some pumping! Just hope they take down into the 1's.(Don't hate, folks... it's only temporary so have your $$ ready!)
Power Hour! Let's do this! Eff it, gonna have a nice Oktoberfest happy hour anyway!
I'll log back in and post a big OOPS, Mea Culpa and My Bad if I'm wrong. BUT, I believe there will be an "adjustment" to the sweep that allows them to start building capital at the end of this month. They may not allow them to keep all their profits, but they should be letting them keep enough to start building investor confidence. Besides, if anybody had an inkling that nothing would happen at the end of this month, FNF would already be back in the low 2's. All that said, if they don't do anything... here's my preemptive "Doh!"
It was a good post... especially the last 4 lines. Don't listen to any self-appointed content police on this board.
I don't bother with twitter (Machete don't tweet) so these posts are appreciated.
That said, I don't think there will be any scenarios were damages of $25B will be paid out to jps. Our government simply doesn't have the $$ for that, plus the optics would not look good at all if the Treasury was forking over that much scratch (even if it's in the form of common shares) while trying to recapitalize the twins. The "blue sky" outlook that some fools think are gonna give jps 20, or even 10, shares for every one share of jps is nothing more than fantasy. There, I said it. :)
Took years to build that thick layer. Up until 4(ish) years ago, I used to freak at 20 cent drops. Now? Just another buying opportunity.
Nice! I dod too, but not as many shares as I would have liked.
Nobody's fibbing bamy. I just failed to make the distinction of Freddie as opposed to Fannie. My bad. Went back and edited in all caps just for you. ;)
Btw, you can feel free to look back a coupla days for my post on when I converted back to Freddie and pocketed some $$.
Sorry bro, I was taking a break when I posted that. It was Freddie... Whhich actually broke into the 50s.
EDIT: My FREDDIE buy order kicked in at 3.61. I like these shakes... so long as they bring'em back up.
Man, that's mental.
Dude, you crack me up!
Point well made. Since I've been bouncing between the two for so long, I don't think it would make a difference for me. But for someone who's held since before 2012 and 2008, I could see that being something to consider.
All that said, I've basically earned my own "settlement" by swapping the twins for years... earned an additional 3K shares on my swap last week. Now I just have to wait on them to mirror each other again (or at least come within a penny or two of one another).
Basically, nothing of any consequence coming from that fnut.
With a .23-.24 difference (the last time I checked) why not sell Fannie then buy Freddie and pocket the difference? They both rise and fall at about the same pace. Hang on patiently to Freddie till they get within pennies of one another again (it happens a few times a year) then buy Fannie back and watch the spread happen all over again. I've earned over half my shares by doing that over the past 6 years. And it's better than subjecting yourself to margin calls.
It'd bring better luck if there were a bull skin rug on that floor.
Corknutz is gone and Warner is chill. Some will gripe a little... till they remember who's donating to their reelection campaigns.
Big smile.
I'm pretty confident that, at a minimum, they will reduce the warrant value by a significant amount as to not create an ugly dilution scenario. The warrants aren't "necessary" any longer, and I'm pretty sure there's plenty of litigation lined up to challenge the validity of their very existence at this stage of the game.
That said, I don't think we'll wake up one day and they'll simply have disappeared but I also don't think they'll be exercised in their current state. I mean really, who the hell can justify .0001 ps?
Below is my post from the 9th. I still believe any type of party should come after whatever they do with FnF is irreversable, permanent and to our benefit. I'd like to see all the 4 if these happen, but not necessarily in the order written: End/Modify NWS, Release, Uplist, PPS $15+.

Yes. One looks like a Bullish, the other looks Bearish. :)
Maybe to keep pps down for Mnuchin and Trump's friends? I'm no authority on the FnF subject, but I do know greed. And greed is good on Wallstreet.
Now that the door has been cracked (en banc), and an Alessandro Oxford is wedged in there to keep in from closing again, you can believe that there's gonna be all sortsa funding reallocated to litigation in order to allow FnF to make the big boys some green.
That said, I'm good with just being a Remora hitching a ride on these sharks. They'll feed me soon enough.
Single digits?! It's possible... was there in June.
I have buys set for 14.5, but may adjust them once I see the 15's. Maybe, I'll set some $$ aside for the single digit scenario in case shorty takes it to that extreme again. Hmmm
True! But doesn't mean shorty won't try another .50 tree shake in order to squeeze a little more juice out of their money maker while they still can. Have my alerts and buys ready.
Not a recco.
Take out what you can't afford to lose and leave in what you can. Just know that there's a strong chance you'll be chasing the shares you release during the next MM pump. Jussayin...
The warrants won't be exercised. At least not the way most folks think (at the value of the existing shares or even at 80% of what it appears they own). The lawsuits are ready to be fired up...especially because they've been more than paid back. This stock can shoot to the moon, or be wiped out. But as far as the bs warrants go, that's my view and I'm sticking to it. Anyone can argue with me till their keyboard fingers turn blue, but you"ll remember this post when they are either nullified or reduced in such a way that they won't dilute the commons. Enjoy the weekend folks, we had a good Friday!
Although I see that scenario as unlikely, I always leave cash aside for events like you just described. It's how I've earned almost half my shares over the years. Again, hope that's not the case but I can garranty there won't be any jumping off buildings over here if it does... would be just another buying opportunity in the FnF saga.
Yes! Now I'm off to the local winery, or brewery, to savor a "happy ending" to the week. Cheers!
What an excellent Friday. Profit takers usually don't like holding over the weekend if things are iffy with FnF. But to close like this means they're scared not to hold on to their shares. Sweet!
Have an great weekend lovers of commons!
I love it. I pull some profits every time the spread goes .20+, Fannie to Freddie, then flip back to Fannie anytime they get within pennies of one another. There are occasional moments when Freddie pps exceed Fannie, but it usually corrects itself... all made possible because they virtually mirror themselves rising and falling.
