cobra, thought i would drop in before turning off the computer for the evening. thank you for providing some very interesting reading. it sounds like there are some fairly tech savy people associated with a company that has been called something like a lowly startup. the significants is the statement you started the first post with that refers to hellosoft doing thier DD on embarq before agreeing to work with NV. maybe one or more of the names you have presented tonight might be asked to join the BOD of NV. again, thanks for the post.
OT: Own, glad to see you decided to go with the old name. the other one didn't fit your personality.
Brady, i can just see the movie now - jason and brady on boards paddling thier way out to a giant wave. dutch and poorboy sitting on the beach in thier favorite speedos (Dee, of course would be comfortable sunning on a chase lounge while reading). benmack would be working on trying to adapt some electronics to a newly designed board while porscha toils trying to fit a chevy engine on his board. there would be a host of people peeking over the dunes watching to see if jason and brady will flounder in the waves or survive to ride another day (there comes doughjo with a delivery of pizza for everyone). oh yes, there is excel standing at the edge of the water yelling out to the boys to return to shore and save themselves from the evil waves. with a little more time i think we could write a real soap out of this but i would rather spend time grilling. enjoy the weekend!
OT:
hey doughjo, do you still have that pizza waiting for me?
CJ, at last a post that makes sense!!!!
Ol Henry, it was nice to stop in a a saturday morning and see someone posting with a similar opinion. after seven years of having these shares i can understand that some would be frustrated as i have had my own periods of the same feeling. i have also noticed that the frustration is usually associated with other events in my life and it was easiest to transfer the cause to NV. like you i will make my own judgements about the company without using the info that is either a pump or bash on any chat site. thanks for sharing your feelings about NV and i hope that you will return to post periodically and maybe bring some sanity back to this room.

Deeba, how are things in the frozen northern part of the state? looks like the sun is starting to warm things up just in time for things to warm up for NV. it is nice to be looking forward to things finally getting turned around. hope all is going well for you and the farmers are buying lots of combines with the bean prices being so strong. maybe we can get together at the annual meeting this year.

porscha, if as you have said, the BB stocks are controlled by emotion then we are in for even more wilds daily rides as the emotion surrounding NV is monumental. i can drop by here and see everything from unbridled optimism to pure hate. i was able to finally rid myself of this idiotic constant babble by only visiting here periodically. it has been seven long years since i first bought these shares and i love every minute. good luck trying to make anyone here listen to anything other than the sound of thier own voice.
Mike, i'm sure i saw you listed on the corporate roster as the east coast investor rep. i also heard that anyone not willing to invest in NV you would break thier kneecap with a flyswatter.
ROTFLMAO!!!!! boy that should show them!
IBZT looks like a gapper this morning
TSBB: no trades all morning and just started to move.
ADOT: is anyone taking a look at this one?
It's the tought that counts Dr. Merry Christmas to you and everyone here.
does anyone have TSBB on you radar screen. any opinion?
NITE moved the bid up afterhours to .0645 and the ask is .0635. does this indicate a gap in the morning
ART glad you are back to watch ATNG run into the close
still with you on ANTG ART
Red is an unbalanced bid/ask
FLCR moving
now we have someone conveniently named REEEEEEEE making a new wave and he has been here a long time (NOV 8) and we even know the war in Iraq was a mistake. next thing we will have the ex first-bitch in here telling us that slick willy never got his jollies in the oval office. this room has gone to hell in a handbasket!
austin, i would like for you to tell everyone one thing you know "FOR SURE". unless it has something to do with your bathroom habit i doubt that you know it "FOR SURE". even at that i'm not sure you would know unless you asked someone else.
austinj, in post #16638 you stated "this crap is getting old". that is the first statement that i remember you ever making that didn't require a "?" at the end. the odd thing is you are right in your statement, "your crap has gotten very old".
austin, i was told that the speeds now achieved by the tech would be fast enought to thaw some of the glaciers that dot the earth. do you think that the world weather organization will ask us not to bring it to market to avoid this possible catastrophy? actually i think we should enter it in the 100 meter dash in the next olympics(but that is my own original thought so you don't have to try to match it since we understand your limited capabilities in that area).
austin, with financing and the proper pr do you think the company will be able to avoid the onslaught of the 13 year locust that are schedules to infest the midwest?
austin, in your learned opinion, if the tech comes to market do you feel the "rain in spain will stay mainly on the plain".
welcome to "RAGING BULLHUB" i would try to add to this splendid debate but i am totally out of yada's
There is tech news out!
Trex, now you have really done it. i am being forced to tune in CNN (CLINTON NEWS NETWORK). at least with the times i can limit my exposure to just a few minutes. right dilt!
Brady, the connection your daughter has established sounds like the most reliable one i have seen here for some time.
cosmo, i have owned shares in many different companies that have asked for an increase in authorized shares on a proxy and have never seen a case where the majority of shareholders are against it.
that was not meant for you spoke. it was a general statement an i unintentionally posted starting from your post.
Dan, drivel is a good word for what is being posted.
Poscha, you have just expressed a thought that many have been thinking for some time now. we in the midwest think surfing is a minoe sport because we don't see it in our backyard or tune into it on tv. i would say that surfing was the first extreme sport and is much more popular around the world than we might think. i think there is a good chance that SIL might supply a shot in the arm to the tech side of NV. it was stated before that dana brown as a member of the BOD has been very much in favor of the develoement efforts on the tech and has not lobbied for anything at the cost of the tech for the future of the tech. i think we are on tract.
spoke, just a guess but i would say that one reason the meeting is a bit later this year is to have the new name included in the proxy. it says that the investors will vote on the name and the legal ramifications of the change had to be answered before it could be included in the proxy.
Porscha and spoke: your summary of 144 shares is correct. spoke is right about the fees to register the shares. my first shares in NV were 144's and i waited over the 2 year period to register them. if i remember the fees was around $600 and if registered after 1 year there is a fee also and like spoke says you must have an intent to sell. the fee would keep me from that process. the fee to register is one reason that you seldom see small blocks go through as 144's. it is not unusual for start-up companies to use this method of funding and i think it is in some ways less dilutive than many finance packages that a company could enter into. at least the shares are normally in the hands of people loyal to the company.
mikerub, not quite everyone.
Y2K, as you already know everyone here is pulling and praying for a full recovery for your daughter. that said, i agree with your feeling about NV. it has been a long road and it isn't over yet but i think we are in the right hands at the right time. as somebody else has said, "ENJOY THE RIDE!"
greg: maybe you are asking tooo much and maybe your not because we all have the right to think as we please. the only problem i have with many comments made here (not just yours) is that we as a group try to manage this company with our limited knowledge of the facts. if i don't trust the management of a company i am invested in to do the best job for me then i sell the shares. no response is necessary as i am not saying anyone is wrong in what they post. this is just my opinion (which we know everyone has)
